Relais La Fattoria in Castel Rigone

Rooms are not as pictured. Our room (Room 13) was small and cramped, shower was very small and broken, and was on a noisy back street so beware. We asked for another room, but we were told they were all the same and our request was denied. Owner and restaurant staff arguing so loudly we heard them in dining area, not once but twice! On our second night the owner in an angry mood tossed our menus to us! The food was good and the location nice, but this is not a Four Star hotel as advertised on some websites. Lastly, at checkout, there was no record of our room deposit and when we advised the owner of problems with the room, the owner argued and denied the problems that were pointed out. We offered to show the problems right then and there, but he refused our offer. The staff did their best, but the owner needs to sort himself out and understand the customer pays the bill.

Their website said it's a 4star, with all the facilities you would need while on a vacation. I can say the place is really beautiful, overlooking the lake Trasimeno. But for those who still wants to be connected with family and friends via smartphone, it's a BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! There's no way your phone can connect outside, they're WIFI is not even working!!! It's understandable that they have just start operating again after the quarantine, but they lack so much. No FRIGOBAR inside the rooms, cleaning service every other day. From my own experience, this doesn't get the standard of a 4star, but an upgrade of a Bed & Breakfast.
