Fonte Sala in Montefalco

Where to begin with the magic of Fonte Sala. I host women's retreats, and was seeking a venue that would be private, quiet, and support the vibe that we so carefully curate. Fonte Sala is the first venue we have used that truly hit every single mark. Lorenzo was attentive and caring in the months leading up to the retreat, answering my many, many questions with thoughtful attention. He was available to answer questions during the time we were there, and even immediately replaced a tea kettle that had a small leak. He could see how important it was to have a quiet space, and he made sure that happened. I couldn't be more thrilled with my interactions with him. Geanina and Nello both took beautiful care of us during our stay. Geanina's cooking was outstanding, and her sweet presence was even better. These two have such gentle souls, and their care and holding of the space was beyond magical. I wish I could have spent more time with them. The venue itself was outstanding. When you search pictures of venues online and you see beautiful images, you think, there is no way that this place will live up to the photos. In this case, photos do Fonte Sala no justice. I wish I could have found a way to capture the tranquility and beauty that was offered to us. The rooms were sweet and comfortable, the bathrooms were perfect, the kitchens were well equipped, and the shared living spaces were lovely. We will absolutely be bringing more groups here!

My family had an excellent stay. The property overlooks the picturesque Umbrian countryside and is surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. It’s a peaceful retreat for families or couples. We were warmly welcomed by Giannina and she was reponsive during our entire stay—even teaching me how to make espresso on the Bialetti! Our two year old loved running the property and visiting with the lazy cat. In driving distance to grocery store, wineries and towns like Monte Falco and Bevagna. Makes for a quick drive to dinner. We’ definitely be back!

A true paradise... a place of great beauty and historicity. The ideal environment to share a holiday with friends in complete comfort. A prompt and discreet service. Beautiful location, welcoming, comfortable and clean rooms and apartments. Strategic position for a nice tour of Umbria.

We booked Fonte Sala in June for a long weekend to host our family as well as our Wedding Day. Lorenzo and the team were incredible from the start, immensely flexible with our plans, hosted our families and made them feel immensely welcome and communication was exceptional. Planning a wedding is a difficult process, but with the help of Fonte Sala we were able to make our wedding dream a reality and the quality of the service was faultless. They worked with our wedding planner and various companies easily and always kept everything to a high standard. We would highly recommend Fonte Sala to anyone looking for a quite weekend away, family gathering or even a Wedding! My husband and I will return again!! Fleur + Marco

Our second visit at Fonte Sala and definitely not the last. We had another great stay at this property. It is extremely well-kept and clean. The location is fantastic and a really good base to visit the rest of Umbria.

Beautiful, spacious, clean and comfortable holiday rentals based on a peaceful estate, surrounded by olive groves and vines. The pool was a great place to chill out on hot summer days. We loved visiting the goats! Lorenzo always made himself available for queries and restaurant recommendations. Walking distance to a winery with tours and tastings and the local Osteria was a short stroll with good food and drink options. Would love to come back.
