Where do i start…. The pool was full of bugs and the water was green and tasted like barf!!! The hallways were something out a horror film and was dark! At breakfast there was nobody there apart from out family of 5. Small variety of food and the bread rolls and ceral tasted like pure blood and made me sick to my stomach! The room were ******* the showers were discusting the beds were creaking and uncomfortable and stains and sment like blood also the balcony was broken and coulnt not open the shutters and we had no natursl daylight!! TERRIBLE

Five of us stayed in the Villa at the Gabbiano and it was amazing, Gianni and his team were first class and made the stay very enjoyable always happy to help and no job too small. The food at the onsite restaurant was fantastic, well priced, and very tasty. The villa itself has an amazing viewpoint that overlooks the lake. The villa also has a professional kitchen with numerous added extras which was amazing and we cooked some fantastic meals in there. The rest of the hotel and its grounds were immaculate and were kept very clean and tidy throughout our entire stay. The Pool in the hotel was also very nice and refreshing. I cannot thank Gianni and his team enough they made our stay unforgettable and very comfortable. Many thanks Gianni we cannot recommend you enough!

Very friendly helpful staff always on hand. The hotel was in a great location for my needs and the room and bathroom I was allocated was excellent.
Housekeeping kept the room and bathroom really clean during my stay,
I will stay here again.

Air con very effective and lovely room cleaner. Continental style breakfast. Plenty of cake. Would have liked black tea. Hard working staff who were very helpful with tourists information and organising taxis.

We stayed at Il Gabbiano whilst attending a family wedding at Castillo Borgia. The location was perfect, we could walk to the castle if needs be and very near to shuttle guests. The staff at Il Gabbiano were fantastic, really friendly and helpful. The pool was great. The rooms were clean - maybe could do with a bit better shower but over all good value. The restaurant and pizzeria were excellent. We had a wonderful 5 days thanks to Gianni and his staff. Would recommend.

We stayed here for a family wedding at the nearby Borgia Castle and had a fantastic time. Giani and all of his staff went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one. The food throughout the hotel & Pizzeria was top class with excellent delicious pizzas and superb pasta. The pool was great, really big and deep enough for diving and warm considering it was only June. They were on hand to offer transfers for anyone in our party of 20 that needed lifts from airports or local railway stations. We were able to put everything onto our rooms which made it really easy for us. They had a table tennis table so we were able to organise a tournament which was a great laugh. Theres a small gym, Paddle rackets courts. An excellent choice and no complaints from any of our group. Thanks again Giani and team for looking after us all.

I can’t recommend this place enough. The staff were so friendly and attentive in every way possible - they even gave us free transport to the town nearby and the train station. We were attending a wedding at Castle Borgia nearby, which was a 5 minute walk away. Our room had a lovely balcony and was very very clean! Loved our stay. Wonderful family business and the manager spoke great English!! Thanks so much. Recommend this place to stay!!
