Hotel Royal in Garda

Where do we start my partner and I traveled to this hotel with Just Go Holidays coach party , on arrival quick check-in, given room on third floor noticed door had damage to the lock looked very much like this room had been broken into, on entering the room was very dated although clean , no safe for three days has broken , reported several times told a engineer was coming to repair never happened , very noisy in room could hear neighbours going to the toilet and using shower , on going to the restaurant paving was very uneven dangerous for the elderly and disabled to walk.The restaurant was chaotic especially when Germans arrived they pushed and so bad mannered taking all the food , the only good thing was the staff friendly and although rushed off their feet tried to help where possible, room kept clean bed made lovely clean linen and although towels thin very clean , no tea coffee making provided in rooms ,standard of meals very poor , Just Go Holidays should not use this hotel has passed its sale by date .The first hotel we stayed in France was A1.

Stayed here 5 nights. In need of a big refurbishment.
Rooms are big and spacious. But furniture needs updating. We had a balcony facing out across houses, not pool. Paint was peeling off of walls.
Windows were blown. On the
Plus side everything was clean . The room was serviced well. At first, water came out of sinks muddy be eventually came clear . The bathroom had a good shower and bidet TV didn't work but it's only in Italian and German so not bothered. Food was plentiful but not brilliant. But the staff were excellent !

We have been there for the second time. The hotel itself is OK, pool is perfect, location is great. The breakfast is also fine (something is too oily), would give it 6-7/10. There is also great parking spot. But! The AC is something horrible. 1st time it did not work, they tried to fix it but not successfully. This trip, it “works” but it is installed in the hall so it does not cool down the room at all. I had to stay under it in the hall to chill a little. It is the same as it would not even be there. The facilities and furniture is old but still working. For the price , pool, quite ok breakfast and location! it is good but…. they should really invest into a good ac… especially in this weather situation, due to that we had to leave one day earlier because it was unbearable
