A very bad experience, unfortunately. To get to the hotel you have to drive through the historic center, which is actually a pedestrian area, with very narrow alleys and you have to pray not to run into anyone. The hotel staff did NOT communicate this extremely important aspect to us. When we went to check in, on a Saturday, we came across 2 completely uninformed and arrogant people. We were then told that the next day, Sunday, IT IS FORBIDDEN to leave or enter the historic center by car between 2 PM and 8 PM. Basically, we were stuck in that center! We asked for information about alternative transportation options, since we had come specifically to Garda, to go to GardaLand, with our child, but they said that they did not know how much it costs and if public transportation goes there. The access alley to the hotel is a very steep slope, impossible to walk with luggage, unless you come by car, again information that was not communicated to us.
Uncomfortable bathroom, the door could not be closed or opened when using the toilet and there was no holder in the shower or sink to place shampoo, shower gel, etc.
Nothing to complain about in terms of cleanliness, the breakfast was not very varied, but good, and the ladies in the kitchen were very kind

A quiet place tucked away in Sirmione 10 min walk from historic center. The drive in and out is a bit tricky on narrow streets and among tourists, wouldn't do it every day. Breakfast was absolutely fine.

A nice and cozy place to stay when you visit Sirmione. It is just outside the city centre, therefore very silent. We had breakfast included which was very good and convenient. It is less accessible for big SUV cars like Peugeot 5008 for parking, but doable. Check-in and out is at another hotel, few minutes away. Friendly staff and clean environment.

Lovely hotel with nice rooms and good breakfast. Recommend taking their parking - driving through the town is an experience in itself. Location is actually perfect: short walk to Jamiaca beach and short walk into the tourist hordes in town. Quiet location. Recommend paying the extra 10 EUR for lake facing room. Air con good.

Located just outside the noisy tourists area, however very close to it - if you want it. A 5-10 minute walk and you are in the centre of everything, the same in the other direction you are on the beach. We got an exceptionally warm welcome, and had a fantastic view over the lake from the balcony. The breakfast was very varied and was delicious. Breakfast was served outside on the terrace together with other people there, thus worked absolutely well. The place was very clean and tidy. Prepare yourself for quite a journey through the city, if you arrive by car - you will be driving through very narrow and crowded streets. My first initial thought was - there is probably another way - where you do not have to drive on, (what I perceived as pedestrian roads) - there isn’t. It is a fantastic place. The good thing about the place is you can chose whether you want the wipes from the tourists or whether you want to enjoy “out of office hours” because you live close enough.

We had a pleasant experience with Hotel Vila Maria. The hotel interior is renewed, rooms are very clean and breakfast is great.

Clean, new and in a desolate area from the tourists, but still close to everything. We really enjoyed staying there.

Great breakfast and lovely view. The room was very nice as well.
the bathroom wasn't very clean, no trash bag inside the trash bin, the amenities weren't the best, no hair conditioner, only one body soap/shampoo, very drying for hair... nonetheless the service was great, staff really friendly and kind!

Small room, had to check in at continental and walk up the hill. Room is clean and lake view room does have the lake if you bend down and see it from the right angle. The ac doesn’t seem to work too well but it’s not uncomfortable. Overall good value when you work out that breakfast is included.

Amazing zone to stay. Good quality hotel versus cost. Parking for free in villa maria or continental hotel. Breakfast with fruit, cereal, coffee, tea, sweets and bread. Air conditioner, hair dryer, tv, towels and mini bar (empty). Good for short time to see Sirmione.

Freshly decorated, spacious rooms, quiet and within walking distance of the town. Plenty of breakfast available, great!
