I had an absolutely wonderful stay at BW Premier Collection Continental and couldn’t be happier with my experience.
The location is unbeatable — just a five-minute walk from Santa Lucia Train Station, which makes arriving in Venice incredibly easy, especially with luggage. You’re right in the heart of the city while still being able to relax comfortably.
The service was truly impeccable, from reception to room service. Every staff member I interacted with was kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. One moment that really stood out: I was allowed to sit on the lobby couch and enjoy a bottle of wine that I hadn’t purchased from the hotel — something that almost never happens. Not only did they allow it, but they brought me glasses and even opened the bottle for me with a smile.
Later, I went to buy more wine from the bar, and even though they had technically just closed, they still served me without hesitation. That level of hospitality really says everything.
Amazing location, outstanding service, and a warm, generous atmosphere. I will definitely come back, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay centrally in Venice while enjoying truly exceptional service.

Location was excellent!!!! It’s close to the station. If you have a big suitcase, I highly recommend you to book this hotel.

Great stay! 🙌🏻 The check-in was smooth and quick, ✅ breakfast was rich and delicious 🥐, and the hotel staff were extremely kind and helpful🛎️. I would happily stay here again!

Great hotel only 400 meters from the train station. No need for transportation. Close to the Vaporetto station and only 28 minutes walk to Saint Marks square. Lots of restaurants and shops close by.
The hotel restaurants has high class , 3 stars, food at an affordable cost. Breakfast is awesome and worth the additional cost. Their terrace is right at the Canale Grande. Recommend ut and we will definitely come back!

Fantastic location close to everything
Unfortunately our room let us down. We were supposedly upgraded but we certainly didn’t feel our room reflected the upgrade quality or price. It was a multilevel room with ridiculous stairs and holes in the ceiling. This room cost us neatly 400 euros a night. The hole in the ceiling let in alot of dust etc. would not recommend for anyone with mobility issues ( or ask to have a flat floored room ).

Apart from being on the canal, this place has nothing going for it. Rooms are average. I almost lost a finger closing the bathroom door. No one offered to take our bags to the room until we asked for it. AC was leaking water. The whole bathroom gets wet when you shower. We were told they don't have enough staff to deliver new towels to the room since the ones before got used up drying the floor. I'd stay far away as possible from this "MOTEL". This does not qualify to be a hotel. For 200+ euros a night, we were hoping it to be a little bit better.

Unprofessional management
Our recent stay at this hotel was largely positive due to its nice location and general atmosphere. However, there were some significant issues. The hotel was consistently loud, with noise from both inside and outside disturbing our peace. Also, the thermostat was set. The reception turned it off on our request but then we could not turn it back when we needed it.
The most disappointing part of our stay, though, happened on our last night, which was our wedding anniversary. After a disappointing dinner experience in the city, we were looking forward to a relaxing evening. We sat down in what we believed to be an outdoor lobby space to eat a slice of pizza. To our surprise, the restaurant manager, Genevra, approached us with a rude remark and a disapproving look, stating, 'This is part of the restaurant.'
There was no polite request or empathy. For a pregnant women, this was the final straw, got really upset and it completely ruined what was supposed to be a special evening. We simply expected polite manners from a manager.
To make matters worse, we emailed the hotel to explain the situation but were completely ignored. This refusal to even acknowledge our complaint shows a complete lack of professionalism and customer care. This is the reason we are now sharing our story."

Beautiful view. Excellent service. The food was delicious. Make a reservation in advance and take proof of it with you because when we arrived, the host told me I didn't have a reservation. The restaurant on the first floor has a different menu. Also, if you are not a hotel guest, the restaurant charges you an extra fee, which I believe is very unfair.

Great for taking pictures, food was mediocre at best, simple pasta with tomato sauce took 1 hour, the sauce was dripped into the pan out of a plastic bag (not fresh), steak was served cold and raw even tho we ordered well done, pasta with seafood (mussels and shrimp) was a bit salty. Very expensive and did not fulfill our expectations.

Waiter did not make us aware we could purchase wines by the bottle, even after asking, as he assumed we were there for the bar even though we had a dinner reservation and had food post drinks.
Food was severely sub-par for Venice, especially considering the price.

You have to buy drinks or food in order to enjoy the roof top views even a hotel guest. If guests could bring their own drinks to relax and enjoy the views it would be a different story. The hotel promotes this as part of their hotel, but it comes with a catch, you have to pay for the overpriced drinks or food to stay up there. We were better off having drinks from a near by kiosk and enjoying drinks on the canal. Plus we were able to have 4 drinks for the price of 1 than what the roof top bar was charging.
