Hotel Flora in Venice

We had the most wonderful stay at Hotel Flora! The hotel is beautiful, quaint, and unique in the best way! We felt at home and welcomed before even entering the door as Thomas came to open it for us. The hotel is beautiful and the room was decorated so nicely. I loved the blown glass light figures and the garden area. Breakfast was one of our favorite things as well! Waking up to the smell of warm croissants baking was a dream. The employees were so kind and accommodating. The location of Hotel Flora is perfect, allowing for waking all over Venice with easy access to the hotel. We loved our stay and wouldn’t have changed anything!

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Venice. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. I can imagine the courtyard is very pleasant in the summertime. The little bar for two was perfect as well!

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is super cozy and very central. What we especially want to highlight is the staff, who helped us with bookings and recommendations and made our weekend perfect. They even surprised my partner for his birthday - so thoughtful! Thank you, we’ll come back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Flora. The location is perfect—tucked back in a quiet little alley, yet just steps away from the hustle and bustle of Venice. The peaceful courtyard was one of our favorite parts, filled with lush plants, cozy seating, and magical lighting. It was the perfect spot to relax after a long day exploring the city.

The hotel’s vintage charm is unbeatable. From the intricate wallpaper to the unique art and lighting, everything feels authentic and timeless, like stepping into old-world Venice that has been lovingly maintained.

Service was top notch. The front desk staff went above and beyond, giving us great recommendations and even booking a private water taxi for us at 4am. Breakfast was another highlight—beautiful dish ware, delicious food.

Honestly, this hotel topped all four of the places we stayed during our trip to Europe, even outshining a 5-star property in the Dolomites. If I had to nitpick one thing, it’s that there are no blackout curtains, so pack a sleep mask if you’re sensitive to early morning light.

For the quality, service, and charm, the price felt very reasonable. Do yourself a favor and stay here when you visit Venice—you won’t regret it!

I love this surprising and remarkable hotel. I had no idea it would be this amazing. It’s a hidden treasure from the busy Venice streets. I was welcomed with smiles by the owners, the scent of roses is in the air, and a welcoming conversation for me because it was my first time there about the beauty and amenities that Venice has to offer.

The location was perfect, you can walk to everything (restaurants, gondolas, shopping, sights) from the hotel.

During check in, you have a view of the loveliest private garden, it’s peaceful, a vintage bar stocked with local wines and top shelf spirits is there. I missed the complimentary breakfast unfortunately because I was so happy waking up in the morning from the luxury mattress and bed linens, looking out the Venetian blinds at the Italian rooftops. I couldn’t get up.

You will get a personal tour of the hotel as you make your way through the flowers and the pristine designed staircase up to your private room. The staff will make restaurant and experience recommendations and book your dinner reservations also.

The room I stayed in was immaculately organized and stocked, clean and the incredible Italian sunshine steamed through my windows with a perfect view of the terracotta rooftops, the dome and the view down to the garden. The mattress was so sleep inducing for me, the room was quiet and peaceful. The bathroom clean and fresh plus well-stocked with luxury local lotions, potions and soaps. I love being in a hotel where I can walk barefoot in my room without feeling crumbs or sand on my feet!

Throughout the hotel, there is no view that isn’t beautiful, and every step you notice the details like the wall paper, the light fixtures, the flower vases and books. There is even a record player in the classic bar area spinning Coltrane’s “Blue Train.”

I conducted significant online research to find a woman-solo-travel-friendly, 24/7 staffed, centrally located but quiet slightly upscale hotel in Venice, and the experience provided by the hotel exceeded my expectations. I wanted an authentic Venetian experience, and I got it.

I highly recommend this hotel for those seeking beauty, comfort, design, lush mattresses and pillows, quiet, good vibes, super clean, and in-house delicious wines and food.

A terrific hotel in a super location, close to Piazzo San Marco but quietly tucked away down a short walkway. Our Superior room, morning breakfast in the garden and literally all the staff were first rate. Hotel Flora says it offers a "peaceful and refined atmosphere with attention to detail and customer care that will make you feel at home". We thought they might have trouble delivering on that big promise but, nope, nailed it. We'll be back. Recommended.

I stayed at the Hotel Flora with my teenaged son last week for 3 nights and loved everything about this gorgeous gem of a hotel.
Breakfast and cocktails in the garden were just wonderful; missing the chilled out vibe very much.
I also need to call out the exceedingly friendly and helpful restaurant recommendations. They led us to dinners in restaurants that were just as welcoming as Hotel Flora
I'm definitely keeping this place at the top of my list and can do nothing but recommend their hospitality highly.

Home in Venice because of the great family and staff running it. Great location, smack in the center but in a quiet alley. Beautiful rooms and the best croissants for breakfast ever! We’ll certainly return here.

The rooms are small, nice (with AC!) and very clean. The breakfast was a bit minimalistic.

They tell you everything you need to know to get the full experience of Venice. They book restaurants for you and give you suggestions. The people that work at the hotel are all so nice and want to make sure that you have a great stay. Hotel Flora is definitely one of the best hotels I have been to, if not the best.
