Hotel Gabrielli - Starhotels Collezione in Venice

We paid extra for a lagoon view so we had a nice view. The hotel had a good location close to sites and some nice amenities like a bath robe. However, when we first arrived our room was not ready and we had to leave our luggage with them to go to our first booked tour. We got back 3 hours later and had to wait 10 minutes for them to find our luggage. Our previous hotel in Florence put our luggage in our room as soon as it was ready so we could go right up when we got back and I wish they would have done this also instead of making us wait. The bed was very uncomfortable and felt like an old box spring. Also, our air conditioning felt like it was not working at all and the room was very hot. Our fridge did not work at first as everything inside was not cold. When we called the front desk to ask about both the guy was very rude and acted like we were a complete nuisance for asking.
