The room was clean. The breakfast was delicious. The service was excellent. It was my first time in Venice, and they were very helpful, giving me recommendations for sightseeing spots.

From the Doge suite, the Grand canal can not be seen from bed, couch or chairs. The only way to see the Grand canal is to stand by the windows since all the windows start at chest height, which for me was very disappointing. The AC works very well and is very quiet.

Love the place. They have very accomodating and friendly staff who go the extra mile to help their guests.
Told the staff that if I will stay there again next time. Right in front of the train station (although need to walk about 10mins round the old buildings and cross a bridge to the train station). Free tour to Murano to see glass blowing at a factory. Breakfast was very good.
Checking out was smooth. And able to get a porter to help transport the luggages over the bridges to the train station was fantastic!!

Surprisingly, we were able to take a free private boat to Murano Island, and even had an instructor accompany us to tour the Venetian glass workshop and the attached glass shop (which is more like a museum). The private boat only runs in the morning, once every 30 minutes, and one instructor is assigned to each person on that trip. Luckily, the instructor on our trip was very fluent in Japanese, so we were able to listen to the explanations and ask questions in Japanese. The hotel room was just as gorgeously decorated as the pictures, and we were very satisfied. The amount of water in the shower was a little weak (as is the case everywhere in Italy).

The whole bed was full of blood sucking bugs, it was horrible, luckily I found it in time so I didn't get bitten. It was late at night and I was already very tired, and I had to continue packing and changing hotels.

The frontdesk and bellboy is very helpful with check in and toursit information. There is no lift, but luckily frontdesk manage to arrange someone to help us on the luggage move in when check in and check out. Located Just beside main riverside.

Beautiful view. Excellent service. The food was delicious. Make a reservation in advance and take proof of it with you because when we arrived, the host told me I didn't have a reservation. The restaurant on the first floor has a different menu. Also, if you are not a hotel guest, the restaurant charges you an extra fee, which I believe is very unfair.

Great for taking pictures, food was mediocre at best, simple pasta with tomato sauce took 1 hour, the sauce was dripped into the pan out of a plastic bag (not fresh), steak was served cold and raw even tho we ordered well done, pasta with seafood (mussels and shrimp) was a bit salty. Very expensive and did not fulfill our expectations.

Waiter did not make us aware we could purchase wines by the bottle, even after asking, as he assumed we were there for the bar even though we had a dinner reservation and had food post drinks.
Food was severely sub-par for Venice, especially considering the price.
Great place for a sunset drink however; such a shame.

You have to buy drinks or food in order to enjoy the roof top views even a hotel guest. If guests could bring their own drinks to relax and enjoy the views it would be a different story. The hotel promotes this as part of their hotel, but it comes with a catch, you have to pay for the overpriced drinks or food to stay up there. We were better off having drinks from a near by kiosk and enjoying drinks on the canal. Plus we were able to have 4 drinks for the price of 1 than what the roof top bar was charging.
