Loved the stay here except for one small detail. The room's bathroom lock wasn't working so the receptionist gave us a do not disturb sign to put on, but this didn't stop the cleaning lady from entering in, which wasn't very nice.
Apart of it everything else was good, loved the breakfast. They also have some day trip arrangements to Murano and Burano, and the location of the hotel is absolutely perfect. There is a ferry stand right outdoors for airport connectivity.

We contacted Lara since we could not travel due to a disease verified by a doctor of one of the members of the group. When the room was paid for, Lara offered us the possibility of a partial refund if we canceled our reservation and she resold the room. He lied to us since the room was sold again but he did not fulfill his part. In addition to taking advantage of an exceptional situation, lack of speech. What a shame.

I had everything planned and due to an illness, certified by a doctor, I could not travel. I contacted the hotel and Lara gave me the only option to return part of the amount of my reservation if she resold the room. The room was resold but Lara did not keep her word. I work in Hospitality, I offered him to save the amount for me later, he didn't want to either. In addition to lack of words, taking advantage of an exceptional situation. Of course I will go to Venice but I will never stay at this hotel and of course I will not recommend it.

Our stay at Hotel Nuovo Teson was perfect in every way! The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the jetty, restaurants, and shops, making it incredibly convenient for exploring Venice.
The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was a good size, even though it was separated from the main room. While the room itself was slightly compact, it had just enough space for our bags and felt cozy rather than cramped.
There’s no lift, and the rooms still use traditional physical keys, but we didn’t mind at all—in fact, it added to the charm and gave us that classic Italian feel we were hoping for.
Overall, a lovely experience. We’d happily stay at Hotel Nuovo Teson again and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a well-located, comfortable, and charming place to stay in Venice.

Staff were lovely and made a real effort with our toddler daughter. The hotel itself is in a very convenient location but also tucked away so not too noisy in the evenings. The breakfast was great with lots of choice. The room itself could have done with a lick of paint, but provided everything we could need.

This was my first time to Italy, and my wife and I were very surprised to learn that the AC had been turned off for the season. In mid-october the temps were still high enough to need AC to keep the room comfortable. I feel as though this was no clearly communicated to us by either ********** or the hotel itself. Maybe I missed it, but I didn’t know. ********** was helpful in addressing our concerns. The hotel itself was in a good location with plenty of good restaurants around. I’m sure we would’ve enjoyed our stay if we could’ve been a little more comfortable in our room.

The location was perfect! And the staff was very friendly and helped us with transportation. There is no elevator in the property so I would recommend travelling light.

Absolute Gem in Venice
Staff were friendly and professional, going out of their way to offer advice on things to do and where to go to make the most of your stay. Restaurants near in the back alley were delicious and prices much better than at restaurants on the water.

This is a perfect spot to stay in Venice. Mere steps from the Grand Canal and St Marks but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. There is no elevator but the staff are happy to carry bags!

The check in was pretty simple but the receptionist offered us to switch from out terrace room toman1st floor(which was actually on the second floor) room because of our luggage. We agreed but after going into our new assigned room we decided to go back and ask for our original room because the room did not have a view and it was going to rain the next few days. She said No I cannot help you. We then scanned the room and found that one of our white towels was stained by some brown substance, the comforter was dirty and the remote had some strange chunky stuff on it. Great location but will not ever stay again.
