Hotel Firenze in Verona

We stayed in this hotel with my family
The number was like from 90-s
There were so many multiple light switches and half of them did not work
The “ the best part “ was air conditioning.
The only way you can switch it off,is calling the front desk and asking. The reservation was for three separate beds,but one of the bed was a cot bed.
The outside view was a stairwell, with the lights on the whole night
It were shades,but they did not work
Bar was closed already at 21.30
The breakfast was good and the room was clean
But 4 star hotel was so old fashioned and not comfortable
For this price you can find absolutely better options

Where do I start.... The staff act like they do not want to work here, They do not engage with customers very well. Not only for me, but I stood and watched how they engaged everybody that came up to the desk. They pretend not to see you for a while even though they can see you. They do not offer any real service. No room service, you have instant coffee in the room no availability of cream (they say they don't have cream in their country but you have to ask for milk). You have to ask for everything they don't provide anything it's bare minimum.

Breakfast is the only thing they offer. After 10:00 a.m. you're going to have to find your own food. You get far more at the Holiday Inn. The bed is like sleeping on the floor. The pillows feel like prisoner pillows. Everything seems to be just put in there because it "has" to be. Just awful. The bar downstairs is a joke. It closes at 21:30 that is if you can find anybody to actually serve you anything before then. From the view you would not be able to tell where the bar is it's hidden by another counter. In the very small lobby / seating area / bar area. Can't forget the hallway to your rooms. It looks like you're going down some back alleyway instead of your room. I'm glad I didn't have to have an apartment or one of those because you had to walk outside the hotel down sidewalk turn left and then turn left something like that and there was no one showing you how to get there. That didn't happen to me but that's what they told the lady at the front desk. Loads of screaming children!

10AM CHECK OUT POLICY IS UNACCEPTABLE, EVERY HOTEL IN EUROPE DOES AT LEAST 12PM CHECK OUT. STAYED IN INDIGO 3 MONTHS AGO, MUCH BETTER HOTEL WITH A BETTER CHECK OUT TIME.
