Master was very kind. Do keep in mind towels are an extra small charge, toilets are shared, and there is no bathroom - only the onsen in the basement, and the showers inside it. Also, the onsen was a little too hot even during the middle of winter. Other customers said the same thing so it wasn't me - hopefully the temperature can be altered slightly. At any rate, I've stayed there twice now and it was great both times. Thankyou! :D

This innkeeper was awesome. View of the river is scenic. They have a beer vending machine.

Feel like home is an old-fashioned ryokan, but the interior looks clean and modern. The owner takes good care of you like you are family. There is a large public bath separated for men and women. The room is large and not cramped. If I come again, I will book here again. Recommended.

It feels like it’s family run, with very nice Ojisan at the front desk. Service might not be the fastest, but they are so endearing and it just adds to the relaxing atmosphere of the hotel and the city. Sento is open 24hrs and so convenient after a day of hiking. Tatami rooms with a gorgeous view are the cherry on top for comfort !

Very clean and cosy rooms with great view to the river. You can sleep with the window open and hear the river which is very relaxing. The host is very friendly and played for us on the piano. The onsen is very basic but nice and relaxing.

No bathroom in the room. Wifi didn’t work. It would be ok if you got it for cheap but paid way way way to much for the place. There was a public bath but you had to rent a towel. That just seemed a little silly. It was clean and safe. The staff was friendly.

Best of all!
It's true that the facility is old, but it's natural because it's been around for about 60 years.
However, it has been renovated properly and is very comfortable. The amount of food and the taste are very good. I came across a good inn.
I want you to do your best without losing to Corona ❤️
I want to come to eat natural ice shaved ice 🍧 again.

I used to take a day trip bath on the way back from the mountain, but it was close to the station and easy to access, and I was glad that the landlady was kind.
Bathing & draft beer set (glass) 720 yen was very addictive for me.
I still want to use it!
