FUJIYA HOTEL KAWAGUCHI-KO ANNEX Fuji-View Hotel in Fujikawaguchiko

After years of traveling, I have to say that this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.

First, The staff is incredibly kind and attentive. The gentleman was very kind and allowed me to check in early at no cost, and the lady, seeing that I was having trouble with the bike stand, explained everything to me, both in very good English.

Second, The accommodation is less than 10 minutes walk from Kawaguchiko station, you can borrow bikes for free, the bed was very comfortable, and the rooftop is a must with an incredible view of Mt. Fuji (I had the pleasure of having my coffee there every morning).

Third, Everything is incredibly clean, shower, high-end toilet. Everything is done to ensure you have a great time, small details to improve your daily life, for example the temperatures of the day, all the supermarkets in the area, all the activities in the region on a leaflet, and also when there is an event (in this case a hanabi matsuri)

I highly recommend this hotel, they work hard and deserve the best.

Magnificent. Owners are soft spoken and polite, rarely seen but appear immediately when summoned by the bell at reception.

This is a 150years old hotel. But it is well cared and the view from the room is stunning! The fuji just in your face! 😆

Staff were amazing, the hotel, room and garden immaculate with the food from the restaurant and experience to have.
Bonus was a large smoking room with a view of Mt Fuji

I had an amazing stay at Fuji Guesthouse - staff were so helpful and attentive and gave me all the information I needed for the area and to climb Mount Fuji. The bikes are free to hire so had a great cycle around the lake too. The rooftop was a lovely place to chill with an amazing view of Fuji. It was less social than other places but good for downtime. Would highly recommend.

Well established hotel since 1878.
Its has a big garden, a beautiful pound ( infront of the hotel) and can view mount fuji 🗻 at the hotel entrance , each level ( besides lobby lifts ) n its Observation deck.
Morning buffet breakfast is nice 👍 
if weather is good, u can  enjoy breakfast with mount fuji 🗻 view.

What an amazing location for this hotel. Good facilities and excellent service. Onsen is pretty good, also outside onsen is available. Biked around the lake which is close to the hotel, bikes can be rented from the hotel. This hotel really does have a prefect Mountain View.
