Extraordinary service and staff are so helpful. The room is spacious and can see a lake view. Hotel provide free shuttle bus to station. Dinner and breakfast are buffet and food is good

A traditional Japanese-style hotel with an amazing location right by Lake Kawaguchi. Many rooms and the onsen offer beautiful views of Mount Fuji, creating a very relaxing atmosphere.

The biggest highlights are the stunning Fuji view, good breakfast/dinner buffet, helpful staff, and convenient shuttle service from the station. The rooms feel slightly dated compared to newer resorts, but they are clean and more spacious than typical Japanese hotel rooms.

Highly recommended if you want a peaceful onsen stay with iconic Mount Fuji scenery.

The toilet smells so fishy. I added another $600+ for additional 2 guests on the day itself for 2nights (no extra room added-just futon bed, ori price of 2guest in one room was $700+ for one night). Pls take note when you book via trip.com, even though they wrote there 2 single bed and 4 futon bed in one room, pls take note of the number of guests 🥹🤡🫣

The service was incredibly attentive. Even though our room didn't face Mount Fuji, the lake view was still breathtaking. And the huge glass window at breakfast offered a stunning, close-up view of Mount Fuji – absolutely gorgeous!

I was very satisfied with this hotel. From the welcome to check-in and the room facilities introduction, everything was handled excellently. We just relaxed on the sofa, and our luggage was sent directly to the room! The lobby thoughtfully provided tea, coffee, and snacks. The room was just as large and spacious as shown in the pictures. Although we had to change rooms due to availability issues, they provided all the help they could. We were able to check in early at 2 PM, and the breakfast buffet had a rich variety of options. The public bath wasn't crowded and was quite peaceful. Outside, there were even massage chairs – so comfortable! While the overall conditions and surrounding facilities might not compare to Tokyo, the entire experience and arrangements were really good.

Great accommodation for Mt Fuji viewing. Get the dinner and breakfast included. Dinner spread is excellent to sample all sorts of Japanese cuisine. In room onsen is amazing experience.

Although this hotel is on the pricier side, the overall experience was excellent. The hotel is conveniently located right next to a station for the Fuji Lake sightseeing bus, making it easy to get around. It's also close to the Lake Kawaguchiko boat pier and ropeway entrance. The lake views from the room were superb, and while the view of Mount Fuji wasn't the absolute best, it was still quite close and impressive. Both breakfast and dinner were served buffet-style, offering a wide variety of delicious options, which we really enjoyed. The room itself was very spacious, and despite the hotel's age, it didn't feel old or have any musty smells (perhaps because I stayed in a renovated Western-style room). The onsen facilities were also quite good; the public bath was uncrowded and very comfortable. All in all, it's a fantastic place for a holiday!

Great time spent in this place and wonderful crew behind all the fine details. We enjoyed the onsen, time spent enjoying the breakfast bar, beautifully curated dinner to meet all our nutritious need. Not forgetting the gracious drivers that is so thoughtful and careful driving us back and forth. Thanks for a wonderful stay during our holiday.

The hotel arranged a very spacious room for me. The buffet dinner was incredibly rich and delicious, and there were free snacks and drinks in the lobby. It was also lovely to relax in the lobby during afternoon tea. There were no hidden fees when checking out, which I really appreciated. I also booked a hotel on Agoda for this trip, and comparing the two, Trip.com is much more reliable!

The self-drive from Ikebukuro to the hotel takes just over two hours. It's easy to find and has plenty of parking. The buffet dinner, though not cheap, is well worth it. The service is very warm and welcoming. Since it's an in-room hot spring, the water was already prepared before we checked in—such thoughtful attention to detail.
