Hidden gem oyster bar ryokan (under the bridge). Oyster and Matsukawa beef kaiseki was outstanding... really tops in quality and taste!

I came to this inn looking for teppanyaki. Oysters were in season, so I ordered the oyster and meat teppanyaki course with a lobster a la carte.

It was delicious.
I usually eat teppanyaki with meat as the main course, so the oyster course was perfect.
The lobster was also sweet and delicious, even just grilled with salt.
I think this is a very reasonable inn, considering you can eat teppanyaki in a room with an open-air bath.
The road is a little narrow in places, but

The room we were shown to was a little small and inconvenient, but the teppanyaki food was fantastic, both in taste and the chef's performance, giving us the impression of a "teppanyaki restaurant where you can stay overnight."

A hot spring inn where you can enjoy teppanyaki cuisine.
It has a lively atmosphere.
The flavor and doneness are excellent. 👍
The baths are also quite nice.
There are no convenience stores within walking distance of the hotel.

The open-air bath was at the perfect temperature and offered a fantastic view. The live kitchen teppanyaki was also excellent, as expected from a dedicated chef. However, the dust in the air conditioner and ventilation fan was disappointing. It would have been even better if the atmosphere during meals was a little more relaxed and we could have chatted more. The female staff were also very attentive.

With such attention to detail, this is a hotel I would definitely like to visit again.
