Hotel was thoughtful by sending where to take shuttle bus from station before time. Food was delicious. View from room is spectacular. Pools and sauna was great with cold weather & winter views!

Although the hotel is a bit old, it's well-maintained and the service is very friendly. The cleanliness is good too. The only downside is the lack of power outlets, which was a bit inconvenient. The view from the window was great, and the hot springs, which I enjoyed for two nights, were also very nice. The milk was delicious!

The hotel offers a shuttle service, which was great. We arrived early and were able to check in ahead of time. It was incredibly relaxing to soak in the hot spring while enjoying the snowy views. The service was excellent, and the breakfast was quite abundant.

This hotel is a 10-minute walk from the west exit of Takayama Station. If you have luggage, you can take the hotel's shuttle bus, which is very convenient for both trains and the Nohi bus. We visited the Shinhotaka Ropeway and Shirakawa-go, and it was great to return to the hotel and relax in the hot springs. The standard room wasn't too small, and the quality of this hot spring hotel is indeed excellent. There are two good restaurants downstairs. The hot spring water quality is also superb. I'll definitely recommend it to my friends next time.

I booked the Takayama Green Hotel, and for a standard price, I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was a hot spring hotel! I could enjoy a very relaxing soak. The hotel service was also excellent, and they even gave us discount coupons for the neighboring product hall.

Very satisfied with our stay! The room was quite spacious, and the hot spring was very comfortable and not too crowded. The only downside is that the hotel is a bit far from the train station. It was quite tiring walking with luggage. I later found out they might have a free shuttle service, but no one at the hotel mentioned it proactively.

It was a wonderful stay in this Modern but yet a little traditional hotel. It is not fully a Ryokan but yet the whole hotel is on Tatami from lift lobby right to your room. Onsen was good as there are private and public pools available. Not forgetting serving free Ramen for supper is definitely a plus point especially in winter.

Alright place, can only praise the free parking and probably the "cheapest" in this touristy area. Otherwise the onsen is pretty dirty (mouldy) and no free breakfast.

I stayed for a night. The hot spring and breakfast were my highlights during the stay. The room door doesn't lock automatically so I had to lock it up with a key by myself. It was a bit of a hassle but overall good.

This time we are traveling by car, so it is very convenient to stay in the mountains. The hotel provides free parking spaces and a large parking lot, so there is no need to worry about not having parking spaces. The hotel hot spring is not big, but few people use it.

Disappointingly, no improvement was seen, particularly the quality of food presumably to be of high quality for luxurious rooms with private onsen. Routinized Japanese Haute cuisine with no surprise, four small pieces of signature Hida wagyu could only be seen as a decoration. Was nice and the bath was súper good. Also the place has it’s own free onsen and only 3 minutes from the hotel there is a onsen with 16+ different pools. I would recommend to get the reservation for the dinner since there are just a few options in the town.

Although the breakfast set is good, the croissant is delicious 😋 The dinners were good for both nights, but the hot springs were a bit small. I couldn't see the surrounding environment because it snowed heavily during the two days I stayed there. There is only a thick layer of snow around.

The hotel had no ramp nor elevator to move our luggage from the entrance up to the lobby level and again from our rooms on the 3rd floor, we had to lug them up and down the stairs. The toilet did not have a towel for us to dry our hands as the rail was held up by masking tape. The ceiling had discoloured patches damaged by leaks. Things were really old and not well upkeep. Very cosy ryokan, room was slightly dusty but quickly cleared up with the air purifier provided, the toilet was quite small for me but manageable. I liked the location and the decor, although the building seemed a little bit old compared to other ryokans in the area, it was still very well maintained.

This was such a lovely place to stay. The room was nice and spacious, allowing us to feel at home. Not only were we taken care of by means of beautiful breakfast and dinner, but the staff were extremely helpful when we talked to them about hiking in Kamokochi. I would highly recommend booking this place especially with a meal plan, since it was nice to have food sorted after Hiking all day.
