This hotel is a 10-minute walk from the west exit of Takayama Station. If you have luggage, you can take the hotel's shuttle bus, which is very convenient for both trains and the Nohi bus. We visited the Shinhotaka Ropeway and Shirakawa-go, and it was great to return to the hotel and relax in the hot springs. Compared to the onsen hotels in Gero, this hotel is more modern, and the breakfast is better. They also have an outdoor hot spring with snow views. A very satisfying experience!

The standard room wasn't too small, and the quality of this hot spring hotel is indeed excellent. There are two good restaurants downstairs. The hot spring water quality is also superb. I'll definitely recommend it to my friends next time.

I booked the Takayama Green Hotel, and for a standard price, I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was a hot spring hotel! I could enjoy a very relaxing soak. The hotel service was also excellent, and they even gave us discount coupons for the neighboring product hall.

Very good onsen hotel, with 2 type of onsen available in the hotel , the basement onsen is more luxury and modern where the ground floor one is more vintage and old school.
Easy access to shirakawa & shinhotaka ropeway.

Very satisfied with our stay! The room was quite spacious, and the hot spring was very comfortable and not too crowded. The only downside is that the hotel is a bit far from the train station. It was quite tiring walking with luggage. I later found out they might have a free shuttle service, but no one at the hotel mentioned it proactively.

The hotel lobby is grand, elegant, and luxurious. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, providing excellent explanations and recommendations for nearby shopping and scenic spots. They even helped us store our luggage so we could explore without worry. Our friends were delighted with the Japanese-style room – it was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with incredibly cozy bedding that had one friend falling asleep instantly. The onsen was especially satisfying, with both indoor and outdoor pools that were comfortable, spacious, and beautifully designed, melting away the fatigue of a day of sightseeing. I'm so glad I chose to stay two nights; it was incredible value for money. A special shout-out to the shuttle bus driver! When we arrived in Takayama, it suddenly started raining, and the driver immediately took us to the hotel, which we greatly appreciated. I'll definitely recommend this place to friends for future stays.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Its location is very convenient, just a pleasant 15-minute walk from Takayama Station, with the added bonus of a reliable hourly shuttle (be sure to check the schedule in advance).

We stayed in a comfortable room in the new building. The hotel is spacious, with great amenities like ice machines on every floor and a self-service laundry in the basement near reception.

A real highlight was the two onsen (hot spring baths), each with a distinct style and layout featuring both indoor and outdoor areas. They were superb. The service throughout our stay was excellent. All the staff were incredibly pleasant and helpful, providing clear explanations in English upon check-in.

The hotel also boasts the largest souvenir shop. We even enjoyed a beautiful snowfall from our room on the last night. We would definitely choose to stay here again on a return visit to Takayama.
