Very good location. Near to Takayama Station. However, bad experience with the tatami bed bug bites. The low table with heated blanket had bad smell. Suggest hotel to do a better clean for these items in the room.

It’s a very nice place, 3mins walk from Nohi bus station.
Very aesthetic Japanese layout, each room are themed with different Japanese cultures.
The staffs are also very friendly and helpful and can’t complaint about the level of service.

The Wi-Fi was terrible; there was none in the room initially. They fixed it later, and I got two bars of signal, but it was still poor. There's no hot spring here; what they call a hot spring is just tap water. The bedding was awful; I got bitten all over and felt very itchy, and the duvet cover kept coming off the comforter. This price is just not worth it; my child's skin was red and itchy from bites.

This hotel is super convenient for solo travelers, being close to both the train and bus stations. The room was incredibly clean and surprisingly spacious for a standard room in Japan – we could easily fit two large suitcases! The hotel's location is also great, close to popular attractions and restaurants.

The service was exceptional, every detail was handled with utmost care. As we were leaving, it started to snow heavily, and a staff member actually ran out to give us four umbrellas. The Japanese breakfast is definitely worth trying. The hotel's location near the station makes it incredibly convenient for getting around.

Excellent experience at this ryokan. The staff are very welcoming and attentive. The onsen is lovely, as is the common room. I highly recommend it.

The hotel is beautiful and all the staff are lovely. I was really impressed by the attentive service and the variety of activities available at the hotel. The breakfast was delicious. It's a shame I only stayed one night. If I get the chance to visit Takayama again, I'd love to stay here for several nights!
