It was amazing for the price. The spacious open-air bath was also great.
However, the wifi reception was poor and cut out frequently.

I went there for a day trip. It was evening, or rather night, but the lobby was spacious and there was a restaurant inside, so I was able to relax. It was called a hot spring, but it seemed to be a simple alkaline mineral spring. There was also a sauna inside. The open-air baths had cypress and ceramic baths, but they were small, so I felt they were not very usable when it was crowded. The open-air baths were also relatively small. There was a picture of a nearby old cherry tree called Garyu Sakura painted in the large bath. I would like to come back to see that cherry tree next time.

I had an amazing experience staying here. The rooms are well equipped with all basic amenities. Food is very good. Further, they have one of the best onsens in Japan. Variety of vending machines can be found inside. Worth a stay!!

10 minutes drive from central Takayama. I stayed one night and enjoyed real onsen. The price was reasonable and I was offered free breakfast .

Cherry trees here do blossom two times a year!! (One in Autumn, and the other in Spring as usual..)

Free shuttle from the Takayama train station. The outdoor hot spring baths were so relaxing. Two individual tubs and one shared bath. The lounge area in the locker rooms had recliners to relax on which was nice while I awaited for my shuttle.

Good and clean rooms. Value for money. Only set back is the location. Few KM away from the city centre. Hot bath inside and external. Free breakfast having a piece of egg, 2 pcs of bread, butter and jam, some salad. Free flow of coffee and tea.
