Spent 2 nights here with one night of Healthy Dinner and Breakfast and one night room only. Had the dinner on 1st night, and Breakfast on Checkout day. They were so nice to accommodate that request of mine so I could do a 36hr fast in between that 2 meals. Very enjoyable stay indeed. The rotenburos at 3rd floor were both very kimochii. One of view mainly of the ocean, and the other mainly of the mountains.. They 'gender change' from 10am to 3pm daily instead of at midnight so we can still soak through the night but won't get to see a different view if u r only staying for a night. The public bath on ground level also has an Open-air onsen which is very kimochii too. Appreciate the sauna and cold bath thr too. Oh, they also provide the All-in-one gels at the 3rd floor along with shampoos and conditioners which was nice of them. At the public one, only rinse in shampoos and body soap were provided.

I gave it a rating of 3, but it's actually more like a 3.5.
I stayed in a room with an open-air bath, but the bath was so hot I had to dilute it with water before using it. There was no shower area, so I had to use the shower in the room, which was inconvenient.
The room was clean and nice, but the toilet had a really strange smell from the moment I entered, and I really didn't like it when it was left running.
As for the public bath, the bath was really nice.
I didn't use it, but there was a rest area next to it, which I thought might be for day-trippers.
As for the food, dinner was mediocre, but breakfast was delicious.
I ordered the "Kaze" course for dinner.
Dinner was stewed with whelks and fish, but it was a bit disappointing. The hors d'oeuvres were also a bit disappointing.
The only dishes I thought were delicious on the course were the roast pork and salmon belly.
I also ordered fried octopus for 550 yen and octopus sashimi for 700 yen, which were delicious.
If they could improve the food, I'd like to go again. I definitely wish they would stop serving whelk.
There is room for improvement in the food.

This is information from when we used Hotel Keifu's large public bath, "Todopokkuru," at 11:00 AM on Sunday, October 19, 2025. The "Observation Bathroom" on the hotel's top floor is only available to overnight guests, but the large public bath in the annex "Yuttarikan" on the first floor is also available for day use.
The facility opened when the hotel first opened in 1997, and has been undergoing continuous renovations since around 2022, with a temporary closure and reopening at the end of 2024. Located very close to Mizunashi Kaihin Onsen, it offers affordable access to two slightly different hot spring sources (Well No. 4 and Well No. 5). Well No. 4 is a slightly stronger, salty saline spring of the same quality as the Kaihin Onsen, while Well No. 5 is a slightly cloudy saline spring with added properties such as Glauber's salt and gypsum.
The nickname "Todopokkuru" is a combination of the local Ainu-derived place name "Todohokke" and koropokkuru, with the word "toto•pokke" meaning "shadow of the cape."
Open 10:00-20:00 (closing time 19:00), adult admission is 400 yen (cash payment). Shoe lockers and changing lockers are free. Body soap, rinse-in shampoo, hair dryers, and water dispensers are provided. The soap is a budget-friendly version of Wind Hill, and the hair dryer is Tescom's Naturum.
The indoor bath area has 17 shower faucets, two shower booths, two indoor baths (Well No. 4 and Well No. 5), a jet bath (a mixed spring?), a dry sauna (stone-type, two-tiered, for 6-9 people, with a 5-minute hourglass), a cold bath (18°C), and an outdoor open-air rock bath (Well No. 5) and a vibrating bath (Well No. 4).
According to the analysis report for 2021, the spring quality of each spring is as follows:
Well No. 4 "Mizunashi Onsen": Temperature 58.9°C, pH 7.6, dissolved oxygen 9001mg, sodium chloride spring (isotonic, weakly alkaline), metasilicic acid 197.4mg, metaboric acid 18.0mg, slightly yellow, transparent, slightly salty, odorless. It is a saline spring with a moderate viscosity and a slightly sticky consistency that becomes moisturizing as it dries.
Well No. 5 "Esan Misaki Onsen": Temperature 55.5°C, pH 7.2, dissolved oxygen 1859mg, sodium, calcium chloride, bicarbonate, sulfate spring (isotonic, weakly alkaline), metasilicic acid 194.1mg, metaboric acid 11.6mg, free carbon dioxide 134.3mg, slightly yellow, transparent, tasteless, odorless. Pale yellow deposits and brown travertine can be seen forming, and the spring is earthenware and gypsum-containing saline, with a thick consistency that dries smoothly without being sticky.
The facility also has a small rest area and snack bar, which can be used for day trips. While admission to Mizunashi Kaihin Onsen is free, this facility is also inexpensive, so I thought they could be enjoyed as a set.
However, as with any good inexpensive facility, there are a lot of users, which can make the clientele a bit of a challenge.
