Location is average as a whole, 500m ish walking distance to the train station which is perfectly fine except when it's winter.
The good thing however is the breakfast, free ramen at night, free ice cream, free probiotic drink in the morning. Room is also fairly reasonably large compared to Tokyo rooms.

Short walk away from the station, great value for money. Room is small but not cramped.

The room was tiny. There's free multi-story parking. We got stuck in Hokkaido for a night because our flight was canceled due to a heavy snowfall in Sapporo on Jan 25th. All the hotels near Chitose were fully booked, so we ended up finding this place an hour's drive (80 km) away. The hotel also has an onsen. The front desk recommended Ippei Yakitori, but it was just so-so. The main issue was how incredibly small the room was.

Good hotel and onsen. We enjoyed our stayed there. There is a lot of complimentary like ice cream, yakult after onsen. And at night there is free ramen. Kids really happy. Definitely will come back someday

Traveling with luggage in winter? Think twice about this hotel. It's quite a distance from the train station, and even a one-stop bus ride is a hassle with bags. If you're planning to visit Cape Chikyu, there's no real need to stay in Higashi-Muroran; it's more convenient to stay in a city with a better tourist vibe. The room size here is decent, but the value for money isn't great. For under 500, it doesn't even include breakfast. The Dormy Inn right by the train station would be a more convenient option. The onsen (hot spring) here felt pretty mediocre too.

This is my third time staying at the Dormy Inn hotel chain. Always satisfied!!! They have an onsen, free-flow ice cream, and free ramen every night at 9:30 PM. The breakfast is also delicious.
For children, kids’ amenities are provided, such as slippers, toothbrushes, and pajamas.
Adult pajamas are also provided, along with basic amenities like a shower cap, comb, and toothbrush.
As for the location, there is a Lawson convenience store next to the hotel, as well as a delicious Kura Sushi restaurant.

The room is very small but clean. Service from all staff is excellent. The buffet breakfast is very good. The use of the washing machine is free 👍, I really appreciate this service 🙏. Free Yakult during breakfast. Also provide free ice cream and free soba after 9.30pm.

We stayed 2 nights here with our 5 year old child. The queen size bed is not big enough to accommodate us, so we got another room on the spot. Free ramen and ice cream from 9.30pm to 11pm daily and free yakult during breakfast, is a bonus. Breakfast is simple but has a good variety. The room is clean and they will place another basket of clean towel even though we did not request for room cleaning. However, there is not much food option around the hotel, need to drive and venture out.

Stayed here for one night in a Comfort Room. The room was spacious with enough room to open a large suitcase. There is a good variety offered for buffet breakfast

The hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the West Exit of Higashi-Muroran Station. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming, even helping me locate the hat I'd lost on the bus. Breakfast was quite good, and the onsen was very relaxing.
