Was here for the day use onsen.
Great quality of water for experienced Japan traditional onsen explorers. It’s an old hotel so facility is a bit outdated. One big tub max 6 people at once. Small changing area.
Onsen plus towels rental were ¥550+¥100.

Overall my room was clean. In terms of presentation, it is more on the old, worn-out side like it could use a new coat of paint & wallpaper. The hallways, my room, & bedding had a particular smell. I asked for a room with no/minimal cigarette smell, which I think they did, so I think the smell is just from how old the building is. It's not a bad smell, just off-putting like I wonder how often they wash everything. I can't say how clean the onsen was because I didn't wear my glasses, but it seemed fine. Decent size & perfect temperature for me.

In terms of onsens & shrines, it's in a good spot. A few restaurants to choose from, but not much else in terms of shopping. Decent distance from Goryokaku Park though!

The staff is very polite & appears to remember their guests so they'd quickly give me my key when I returned each night, without needing to ask or verify room numbers.

Got all of the amenities & provided a new set of everything each night (even more tea & hot water). They give you water & a cookie for free & you can buy a drink or ice cream from a little refrigerator/freezer next to the front desk. However, again I wonder how often they do their laundry or cut corners because one of the hanten (outer coat of yukata) had what seemed like a food stain. Debatably not the biggest deal to me, but admittedly it is gross to think I worn something to bed that someone else did too. What bothered me more was the noise. I don't think it was other rooms or traffic, but random, loud thuds.

Overall a decent experience. In terms of pricing, I'm not familiar with how much onsen/ryokan usually are or how much a very nice one is. I think this one is on the cheaper spectrum, but it can definitely be better in terms of presentation. A good renovation would help a lot.

It was a wonderful hot spring. I stayed for two nights but wish I could have stayed a little longer.

The hotel facilities are too old and there is no elevator. You have to change into slippers when you enter the gate. It feels like you have entered a bathhouse. The room looks like a domestic hotel in the 1990s.

It is a little far from Hakodate city, but very close to the airport. The facilities may be a little lacking compared to the surrounding ryokans, but the breakfast and dinner more than make up for it. The staff are friendly, and there is a female staff member who speaks Korean well, so there is no inconvenience at all.

The hotel has a natural hot spring and the food is pretty good, but the room facilities are too old. There is no air conditioning, only an old-fashioned air cooler, and the tatami is equipped with a thick quilt. The staying experience is unsatisfactory.

The front desk staff welcomed us warmly. "I was able to add a heartwarming message from the young lady at the front desk to my travel stamp book. This was my second stay at this hotel, and my revenge in Hakodate. I had a delicious breakfast. I had piping hot miso soup and refilled the rice four times! Last time, breakfast and dinner were included, but this time, I only had breakfast. There is a microwave and an electric kettle, so you can warm up food. Even hot sake is fine 👌 (incidentally, I had sake and squid rice for dinner). Before the sake, I went to the sink ♨️. The water was a little hot. There are eight faucets. One of them seems to be out of service. I immersed myself in the water up to my waist, sitting by the window where it was getting cold (it was too hot to reach my shoulders...), and enjoyed the bath as if it were an open-air bath.

The staff at the inn were warm and courteous, and I had a very comfortable stay.
Although many rooms are non-smoking, my companion who is a smoker was very happy.
In addition, they take good care of the smell that lingers in the room, so I think you can have a comfortable stay.
The most important thing is the hot springs, but you can feel the power of the source.
This is a very satisfying hot spring!
I would like to join again♪

A very historical hot spring hotel. Although the facilities are relatively simple, it is the purest hot spring original hot spring.
