Small room but fully equipped with amenities and functions
Overall it was good, but... Check-in wasn't smooth. They showed me my reservation on my smartphone and I was able to complete the process, but I accidentally left my phone with them when I went to my room. When I returned to the front desk and explained the situation, they treated it as lost, and it took some time to get it back. I was also made to sign a lost property report. I mean, they just didn...
I visited for the first time in three years, and it is still excellent. First of all, the location is great for sightseeing in the center of Yokohama. The hotel is large and luxurious, and well-equipped with amenities such as a restaurant, convenience store, swimming pool (limited time), large public bath, massage chairs, ice machine, and microwave. I especially loved being able to grill various fish...
I really liked this level of service for this price.
I was very satisfied. It was my first time visiting Yokohama from Hokkaido. The scenery and the room were so beautiful, it was almost too luxurious for me. My trip to Yokohama was so enjoyable. I'll come again.
I booked a single room but got a large room with twin beds, which was great. It's also close to the amusement park area.

Shin Yokohama Prince Hotel, Yokohama1 / 30

Yokohama, 3-4 Shin Yokohama, Kohoku-ku (7 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Room was small but enough for 2pax to just back in the room to rest for the night and head out the entire day. 2 Big luggage might be a slight challenge to open and pack in the room, but still ok if only 1 big luggage. Near by has quite alot of food and near to both Shinkansen and metro station.
The hotel lobby has a 7-Eleven, which is really convenient for grabbing snacks and drinks. There's also a mall downstairs, and you can walk through it to get to the train station easily. The Ramen Museum is only a 10-minute walk away, and tickets are 450 JPY per person. However, the room's heating is still centrally controlled and can't be adjusted; it didn't feel warm at all. The windows are sealed...
The room was clean and tidy, the service was excellent, and the high floor offered great views. There's a mall and supermarket right downstairs, which is super convenient for shopping, and the subway station is just a three-minute walk away.
The hotel was lovely. The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was quite good. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would definitely come back
I always stay at the Prince Hotel when I come to Yokohama. I recommend choosing a smoking room on the 33rd floor, which are actually on the 35th floor, and are better renovated than the non-smoking rooms on the 33rd floor. The hotel breakfast is consistently high-quality, and the night view is beautiful~
The room was great, especially having a washing machine. The view from the window was also nice, and the observation deck outside the 20th-floor front desk was particularly beautiful. The transportation was also very convenient. Hope to see you again next time.

Update: We are sad to see them close for 3 years for renovation. We will definitely be staying on opening day! The hotel was wonderful and the staff made it exceptional! We love this place and stay here regularly. Great room, great view, great staff and food. All at a decent price, especially for this area.
This has been my go to hotel for the past 5 years. So sad it’s closing for 3 years for renovations. I’m sure in 2028 it will be absolutely amazing.
The view from the room is very nice. We paid additional 6k yen for this view which is totally worth it. Aside from the view, there’s nothing special. No amenities for the guests to enjoy. The breakfast buffet is a big DISAPPOINTMENT!!! It’s our 3rd time in this hotel but this time we felt cheated. They charged too much for the breakfast but nothing special.. the foods were very basic. My husband...

It's a great hotel. The view from the room is very good. It's full of vacation atmosphere, which makes people feel good. The location is also great. The bed is super comfortable to sleep on and the soundproofing is super good. I want to stay here again no matter what. Late, the only drawback is that the hotel's breakfast is relatively ordinary
The tallest buikding nearby which able to view whole city especially night view.

Enjoyable stay with no real issues. The rooms were tastefully decorated and housekeeping did a great job. Convenient parking and a pleasant lobby. Happy with our choice.
This hotel is an iconic landmark in Yokohama Port, but it's quite old, so the room facilities are dated, and the cleanliness was disappointing. I even found a clump of false eyelashes on my bath towel that weren't mine... The hotel is also a bit of a walk from public transportation, so if you're planning on doing a lot of shopping or need to frequently transfer between different modes of transport...
This branded hotel is definitely different from traditional Japanese hotels. The rooms are spacious, and the lobby is grand, built with high-quality materials, exuding a sense of luxury everywhere. Breakfast offers both Western and Japanese options. The Western buffet is on the first floor, while the Japanese set meal is on the fourth floor. The overall service is excellent, and the food is decent...
The room is quite spacious, and the Yokohama night view from the window is beautiful. The breakfast selection is decent.
Directly from the airport, but a bit far from the station. The upside is the nice view, and it's very close to Marks shopping center – you can just cut through it to get there.
View: The room offers a fantastic view, the lake-view room on the 19th floor provides a spacious and comfortable panorama. Parking: Free! Just navigate to the hotel and drive into the large parking lot you'll see (we circled three times, but the signs are actually very clear). After getting your parking ticket, check in and register it at the front desk. You can then enter and exit as many times as...

The hotel is very close to Sakuragicho Station, Yokohama Air Cabin, and Minato Mirai. The room at the end of the hotel offers a beautiful view of Mount Fuji. It's also quick to get to other Kanagawa cities like Kamakura and Zushi. The hotel is fairly clean, just a bit small, but you can't expect too much from a standard business hotel. There's a 24-hour 7-Eleven downstairs, which is very convenient...
The room was a bit small, but the environment was great, offering direct views of Yokohama's nightscape. The breakfast buffet in the morning was also plentiful. Highly recommend booking with breakfast!
This hotel's location is truly ideal. We were lucky to get a room on a higher floor with a great view, which was beautiful in the distance. The breakfast in the morning was extensive. You can also decide to buy breakfast vouchers upon arrival if you see something you like.
My daughter and I enjoyed our stay because it's near the attractions within the city. I recommend the place if you want to explore Yokohama. The staff are nice and very accommodating.
We stayed for 1 night when travelling to Yokohama. Excellent location right next to JR station and many restaurants and shops nearby within walking distance. Our room is spacious for a family of 4 and even has a nice view overlooking the cosmo21. Easy and quick check-in/out process. Would love to stay longer next time. Highly recommended to everyone.
The location is super convenient, right across from Yokohama Sakuragicho JR Station. The facilities are a bit old but well-maintained. The room with a view faces Yokohama Port directly, and the night view is stunning! The breakfast is rich and even includes sashimi, definitely a cut above the room itself.

such a convenient and comfortable stay, and everything is great here with helpful staf
The airport shuttle drops you off right at the hotel lobby. The hotel is surrounded by shopping malls, and it's a short walk to the Red Brick Warehouse and the seaside. There's also a Ferris wheel and an amusement park right next door.
Easy access to everywhere. Hotel connected to the Mall. Room very spacious and have balcony so i can do my stretching every mornings. Close by Yokohama Cosmo World. Cup Noddles Museum just 5-8 mins walk.
Super luxurious and incredibly spacious, definitely the biggest hotel I've stayed in Japan! I was absolutely amazed! The view was fantastic, right overlooking the Ferris wheel 🎡. I'll definitely be back! So satisfied! 👍
We really enjoyed our stay in Yokohama. The accommodation was clean, cozy, and well maintained, with a convenient location. It was a comfortable and pleasant experience overall, and we would definitely consider staying here again.
The hotel is a bit old, but I was really drawn to it because of the balcony. The location is great, directly connected to Queen's Square, so dining and entertainment are very convenient. The Ferris wheel is right opposite the hotel, and the instant noodle museum is within walking distance.

Location in best just above Yokohama station. Lots of eating options in the station and yodabashi shopping. Near by walking to outdoor shopping street with many 24 hrs dining Room is huge for Japan hotel standards.
Overall, the service was great, and the location is super convenient – definitely worth staying here! The breakfast selection, while not as extensive as in China, was still very good. Highly recommended!
The room was clean and tidy, and the hotel staff were very friendly and attentive. Plus, the location is super convenient. I'd definitely come back again.
The hygiene was good, and the location was very convenient, with easy subway access to Tokyo. The trade-off is that there's a lot of foot traffic nearby and many exits, so it takes a bit of getting used to when you first arrive. Overall, I recommend it.
This is a great, old-school hotel. The water pressure in the shower is fantastic, really washes away the day's fatigue.
The hotel's location is incredibly convenient! The subway takes you directly into the hotel and the mall, making shopping a breeze. Getting to Yokohama Station is super easy with all the connections. I'll definitely stay here again next time!

Super spacious. Easy to find. There is the elevator near by but have to walk across the street. There is the park near this hotel with beautiful sakura too. The room is big and clean. I wish to stay here again. The staff can speak english very well too.
The hotel's front desk is on the second floor, and there's a convenient store downstairs, which is really handy for buying things. The subway station is right outside, making it super easy to get around. It's also just a 20-minute walk to Chinatown. Just a heads up, you need to insert your key card for the power outlets in the room to work.
The front desk guy spoke Chinese, which was a nice surprise! Luggage storage and check-in were smooth and friendly. Self check-out was easy. The environment is great, much more comfortable than Tokyo or Osaka.
The hotel is a bit old, but the room and bed are very spacious, perfect for a pilgrimage for Yakuza fans. It's not located near the main attractions, but there's a subway station right downstairs, about 4-5 stops from Yokohama Station, and a taxi to Chinatown costs around 1000 JPY.
This place is kind of a hidden gem in Yokohama Great location, right near train station, a nice park, plenty of food and drink options, rooms are priced right, decent sized, carpeted, fresh towels daily, it’s quiet and tucked away from the main street but close enough to walk to quickly enough They have a buffet breakfast that looks great (haven’t tried yet) Book it! Highly recommended! Edit on 2...
The hotel is located next to a subway station but in a very quiet part of town. It's a bit dated, but everything is functional. They gave me a room twice as large as the typical small room in Japan. Breakfast is average, but the restaurant is very spacious. I've stayed in several hotels of the same chain. This is is not the best. Staff a bit rigid.

We had a really positive experience.
Very clean and the staff are very polite & friendly.
The facilities are a bit old, clearly showing their age. However, you can tell that it was once a luxurious hotel. The hygiene and service are both good, and the location is quiet.
Suitable for budget accommodation. The bed is comfortable. The room is clean, I liked the parquet floor. However, there are stains on the carpet in the corridors. The staff is friendly.
It's not far from the station, but it's not on the main road. You have to go up a small hill, which is not too troublesome. The small street view is also good. Noge-koji is also quite famous. I was upgraded to a room for free. The room is very large. The toilet is also very large. The hotel is like the one from 20 years ago. I quite like the hotels of that period.
The location is great! Both Hinodecho and Sakuragicho stations on the Keikyu Line are within 5 minutes! Be prepared for the hills to the hotel 😇

The hotel service was excellent, and the location is great. However, parking in the underground garage for a rental car costs 2000 per day.
The hotel boasts an excellent location. It's a mere 5-minute walk from the MM line subway station, and after crossing just two streets, you're in Chinatown. room size considering big in Japan. Able to see Fiji mountain when weather is good. I like their convenient location. Direct transportation to both airports in Tokyo. Breakfast is super ! Definitely will go back to this hotel again.

It's close to Keikyu Kawasaki Station and the street in front is wide and safe. Kawasaki often has safety issues in some areas, but this location is no problem. It also has the sense of security that you'd expect from a Toyoko Inn.
We used this hotel for a university reunion party. We appreciated the courteous service from the front desk. The room was clean and comfortable.
I had a very comfortable stay. The hair dryer was also very useful. The breakfast was also very healthy, which was very helpful! Thank you very much! I look forward to seeing you again!
It's close to Kawasaki Station and has a variety of shops nearby, making it convenient. The breakfast was also delicious. However, the walls are thin, so you can hear noise from next door.
