Nui. Hostel & Bar Lounge in Tokyo

The place was well-maintained and the cafe/bar had a great atmosphere.

The owner and staff are all very friendly, and the atmosphere is great! The bedding and sheets were also very clean, clearly well-washed. Downstairs, it seems like many locals come for lunch or to the cafe. The area is quiet, and there are convenience stores nearby (three of them!). There's also a church close by, though I didn't confirm if actual services are held there (as I'm not Christian). The private rooms also looked clean, not just the dorms. The guests were also very friendly and approachable. I even regret not being able to hang out with others due to my schedule. I'll definitely go again!

It was stylish, clean, and overall very comfortable. The room was also well-maintained, allowing me to relax and feel at ease.

The location is also great, and I was personally very happy to be able to see the Skytree just a short walk away, and I enjoyed taking a walk there. I think it's a great place for sightseeing as well.

I felt it was very good value for money, and I'd definitely stay here again if I'm in the area.

Sensoji Temple was within walking distance, which was nice, and evening strolls along the river provided a nice view of Skytree, making for a pleasant stroll. However, despite its location in front of Kuramae Station, it's a bit far from major tourist attractions, which was a bit disappointing. Also, because it's a guesthouse, I had to make my own duvet cover, which was a bit disappointing. However, the atmosphere and cleanliness of the facilities were excellent.

Excellent hostel, I stayed here for my last two days in Tokyo. I booked a private room, which was quiet and comfortable. The bedding was clean (you make your own bed), and the duvet was warm and fluffy. I'd say the room size is ideal for one person at most. Even though the bathroom was shared on the floor, it was right opposite my room, there were never any queues, and it was always spotless.

The staff were absolutely lovely; everyone was helpful and incredibly friendly. They even let me check in earlier than the standard time – a huge thank you to them! That's always a big bonus and earns major karma points!

The lobby and bar on the ground floor were a definite highlight 💘. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was aesthetic, and it was a pleasant place to spend time at any point of the day, whether for breakfast or an evening cocktail.

It's a 5-minute walk to the subway, and there's a direct line to Haneda Airport without transfers. BUT! If your shopping spree is as wild as mine was, and your suitcase is nearing its weight limit, be prepared to tackle the stairs down to the subway. The closest subway entrance to the hotel doesn't have an elevator. The good news is, that's the only difficulty you'll encounter along the way! 😁

I had read the reviews and wanted to stay here for a while. Unfortunately, I was on a business trip and didn't have much time, so I couldn't fully enjoy it. I was really struck by the atmosphere of guests spending their time in their own way and various lives intersecting.
A walk along the Sumida River also sounds nice! Check-out is a bit late, at 11:00, so it would be nice to plan that in advance.
Be sure to make your bed while it's still light out. The rooms are pitch black after 11:00 PM, and entering and exiting the room is quite noisy, so I felt like I had no choice but to sleep, being considerate of others.
The toilet, shower room, and kitchen were all very well-equipped and comfortable. They also provided towels, which was helpful. Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are available in the shower room.
Each bed has two outlets, one of which is for a light. You can use the other outlet freely.

10/10 very good, recommended

This was my second time in Tokyo, and my second time staying here. I really like the Kuramae area, and the accommodation was very clean! I also love the many delicious bakeries and specialty shops in this area.

There is no locker in this hostel.
The room is pretty nice, enough room for you to pack & unpack.
Remember to bring your eye mask.
AC is strong enough.
