Hostel Bedgasm in Tokyo

Located just a short 3-4 min walk from the Iriya subway station, this was a very comfortable stay - I slept very well after the long flight. The staff was fun to interact with, the included free drink is a great conversation starter at the bar every evening. Clean washrooms. Warm room.

The area has limited food options around, but with a little bit of looking around you can find some nice ones. Found a local ramen place a short 5 min walk from the hostel and had a great meal.

One of the most social hostels I’ve ever stayed at. As a solo traveler, it’s super easy to meet people and find others to do activities with. The atmosphere is friendly and open, so you never feel alone. Whether it’s joining group outings, hanging out in the common areas, or just chatting over breakfast, there’s always someone around to connect with.

This is your classic fun, affordable hostel with great staff. Is it the cleanest? Well, no, but that's not what folks are here for.

The staff are wonderful, fun people. Mostly college students with solid English. The group outings on Tuesdays and Thursdays are fantastic. It's a cramped little place with a great social atmosphere. A free drink at 6PM every day and a well-stocked bar. People talk to each other and end up hanging out.

You'll meet people from all over the world who can tell you about the must-dos in the area. Everyone was respectful enough about not being loud when coming in late.

This is a great, fun hostel, run by fun people. If that excites you, and you're not looking for just a cheap hotel, you'll love this place. These guys are part of the reason why we're determined to spend more time in Tokyo than planned for this trip. Wish them all the best.

3 stars for food, only because there is no food, not that they advertise any. Not sure why Google even asks.

It's a hostel so expect hostel amenities. But the atmosphere is really good and the hosts are really friendly and will happily answer any questions that you might have. If you stay there, you get one free beer a night. Word of warning, the stairs to reach your room are quite narrow and steep so if you have heavy luggage it's going to be a bit of a pain.

A few years ago, there’re so many ppl from other country like me. It was great as well.
but lately most customer is Japanese.
If you like to have a conversation or spend time with them, it’s great time to visit.
Grab a beer and have a nice chat with Japanese makes me feel great and good on my Japanese skill.

Best hostel that I've stayed at

Weird name, great hostel! Bedgasm is a very social hostel with a bar on the main floor. The staff are amazing at providing good places to eat and nearby tourist spots. The beds are actually very comfortable compared to the other hostels and guesthouses I've stayed in Japan so the hostel lives up to its name. I plan to stay here every time I visit to Japan.

Excellent staff, clean facilities, and centrally located. Overall a great stay!
