KOKO HOTEL Ueno Station, Tokyo1 / 23
9.0
Kanto region, Tokyo, 2 Chome-18-4 Higashiueno, Tayto, 110-0015 Tokio, Yaponiya 🧭 Map
The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Uokachimachi and Ueno stations, with a shopping street and many restaurants nearby. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, including a self-service laundry room and a pantry. They even thoughtfully provided a luggage scale. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and even gave us small gifts. It's very convenient to take the Skyliner from the hotel...
The hotel was nice and precisely located near Ueno stations and Ueno Okachimaci stations. The only downfall is not the size but the hygienist of the room. Upon check in I found several hair (woman hair) on the bed.
We had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The location is great, near to metro and JR station. Ameyoko market is just less than 5 minutes walk away. There are plenty restaurants to explore behind the hotel, and there’s AEON small grocery nearby too. The hotel staffs are very helpful, they helped us arrange luggage transportation to the next hotel. Easy to communicate too :) will definitely come back
The hotel's location is pretty good, close to Ueno and other subway stations. However, the entrance is a bit hard to find; the red front door is automatic, and I didn't even realize you could just walk in. The room itself was decent, with all the basic amenities, and the hygiene was acceptable. The room rate is a bit high for autumn and winter.
I’m happy with everything! The staff was super nice, and the hotel is conveniently located near the train station, making it easy to access everywhere. There’s also a convenience store (kombini) nearby, which was really handy. Plus, there are plenty of halal food options around the hotel. The room had everything I needed such as an iron, hair dryer, and even a hair iron! Super convenient. The hotel...
Standard squeeze for Tokyo hotel room but there was a sign which tells me to tuck my luggage under the bed. Location is superb, 5 mins to Keisei Ueno station / JR Ueno station with luggage. Value for momey.

Kanto region, Tokyo, 1-6-2 Osaki, Shinagawa-ku 🧭 Map
The room was spacious and cleaned daily. The breakfast was a rich spread of both American and Japanese options. The location is super convenient; you can access Osaki Station directly from the lobby via a connecting walkway. Right outside the hotel, there's a Lawson, Burger King, a NewCity supermarket, and various dining spots. It's perfect for getting to Kamakura, Shibuya, and Ginza easily.
Stayed here again. It's an older hotel, decent and reliable, with breakfast included. There's a direct connection to the subway station right outside, which is super convenient. And the cleanliness is, as always with Japanese hotels, impeccable.
The room was clean and tidy, though the bathroom was a bit compact. The location is super convenient, right above Osaki Station. Breakfast was also quite good.
Stayed: 3–5 January 2026 The room was clean and comfortable for three persons. The hotel enjoys an excellent location next to Osaki Station, with direct access to Life Supermarket, a drugstore, Daiso, and various eateries, making it very convenient for travellers. Breakfast was good overall. There was a moment of slight confusion when I was politely reminded regarding mobile phone use while speaking...
The hotel is practically right next to JR Osaki Station's exhibition hall, just a few minutes' walk away, making transportation incredibly convenient. You can directly reach Shibuya, Shinjuku, and Akihabara. I checked in on December 30th, right during the Japanese New Year holiday, so the room rate was exceptionally high, nearly 2000. I saw the weekday prices, and they offer great value for money....
Located just outside Osaki station with a few train lines, the primaryYamanote line serves most tourist well as it plies key tourist locations such as shibuya and shinjuku. Lawsons is about 50 steps away from the hotel entrance. There's also a mall, New Ohsaki city, there's supermarket and many food options across different price range.

Kanto region, Narita, 68 Horinouchi Narita Chiba 🧭 Map
Beautiful environment, comfortable and spacious stay.
Convenient stop at NRT for a quick sleep before heading to your final destination. Very good breakfast, some rooms very small, ask for a room facing the airport, those rooms are significantly bigger. Bathtub a plus. Onsite gym, scale to weigh luggage, convenience shop for snacks, comfortable lobby, overall not bad for the price point. I stop there regularly when flying from China to california.
The hotel room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. We stayed as a group of four and were provided with queen-size beds and twin single, which were very comfortable. T bathrooms, which was very convenient for us. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would highly recommend this hotel. 👍 Have shuttles bus from airport narita
Decent, but an older hotel with somewhat outdated facilities. However, being a member and getting a late check-out until 2 PM is very convenient. They also offer a shuttle to the airport and a free shuttle to the shopping mall. The shuttle has pick-up points at both T1 and T2, which is where most hotels stop anyway.
The hotel's location was incredibly convenient for our departure. The room was spacious, bright, and clean, with no strange odors. It was quiet and comfortable – I was very satisfied. The service was warm, friendly, and attentive, which was truly heartwarming.
There's a shuttle bus service to and from the airport, which was super convenient since my flight was delayed by over 10 hours. That's why I picked the Crowne Plaza. It was reasonably priced and the room was quite spacious compared to other hotels.

Kanto region, Tokyo, Nihonbashi Hongokucho 4-4-1, Chuo Ward 🧭 Map
The hotel is right next to the subway line, but the soundproofing and blackout curtains are excellent.
The hotel's location is excellent, with many subway lines nearby, making it super convenient for getting around. The breakfast was decent. The surrounding Muromachi district is fantastic, perfect for a leisurely stroll and exploring.
Hotel was located about 600m from Tokyo Station and was to the left of the Central exit. Room was a bit small and the bathroom especially the shower area in the long bath was at a height and quite unsafe when leaving it especially for seniors like me and have to be very careful cause there are no support bars. Breakfast was simple. Not value for money as it is S$245 for a night's stay.
Extremely satisfied, and the breakfast was delicious! If I get the chance to visit Tokyo again, I'll definitely stay at this hotel. For cherry blossom viewing in Tokyo, I highly recommend Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden; it has a wide variety of cherry trees and you can't go wrong.
The room is not large, and it's very close to the tram line. If you're sensitive to noise or suffer from neurasthenia, you should seriously consider this. It's very close to Kanda Station, about a six or seven-minute walk to the South Exit, and about a ten-minute walk to Tokyo Station. Breakfast is 1500 JPY, which is acceptable.
The location is excellent, within walking distance to Tokyo Station, Kanda Station, Mitsukoshi, and Nihonbashi. The front desk service was great, and the luggage storage was very convenient – we could store our bags before check-in and after check-out, which made our travels much easier. There's also a convenience store right across the street, perfect for grabbing water and snacks.

The hotel is conveniently located near a metro station and offers a shuttle bus service to Disneyland (though you need to book early as seats fill up quickly). The breakfast selection is excellent. Overall, it's very suitable for families.
Its very convenient location. Opposite there is a donki. Beside the hotel there is Daiso , uniqlo , GU and there are a few malls walking distance. Mrt is just a ~ 5 min walk There is a coin laundry nearby, you can get the map from the counter .
The hotel has been recently renovated, the service is excellent, and the dinner was also quite good. It's reasonably priced and in a great location!
The hotel was a good and comfortable place to stay, even though it was a bit squeezy to open up our luggages. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our stay, no matter how short it was. The staff were extremely helpful. The view from our room was pretty nice.
Great location and plenty of food, shops and convenience stalls everywhere. The rooms are a very good size and just seeing the SkyTree from our room every evening is really amazing. The hotel is old but very clean. However, you can clearly hear noises from the rooms next door. For some strange reason, there was an incessant banging every morning beginning at 6.45am for about 30 minutes, which was impossible...
The room was clean and tidy, and the location was excellent. The Tokyo Skytree is right across from the hotel's entrance. There are also many restaurants around the hotel, and it's only a 5-minute walk to Kinshicho subway station. It was a great experience, and I'll definitely stay here again next time.

We had a really positive experience.
Very clean and the staff are very polite & friendly.
The facilities are a bit old, clearly showing their age. However, you can tell that it was once a luxurious hotel. The hygiene and service are both good, and the location is quiet.
Suitable for budget accommodation. The bed is comfortable. The room is clean, I liked the parquet floor. However, there are stains on the carpet in the corridors. The staff is friendly.
It's not far from the station, but it's not on the main road. You have to go up a small hill, which is not too troublesome. The small street view is also good. Noge-koji is also quite famous. I was upgraded to a room for free. The room is very large. The toilet is also very large. The hotel is like the one from 20 years ago. I quite like the hotels of that period.
The location is great! Both Hinodecho and Sakuragicho stations on the Keikyu Line are within 5 minutes! Be prepared for the hills to the hotel 😇

I stayed at this hotel during the Chinese New Year. It's conveniently located with a smooth, complimentary shuttle service to both DisneySea and Disneyland. Hotel: The concierge was very helpful in explaining how to book the airport shuttle. I apologize for forgetting his name. We booked a set dinner at the hotel restaurant for New Year's Eve, and it was excellent value for money with great taste...
Facilities: It's a new hotel, very clean, and the room is spacious. Hygiene: Very clean, both inside and out. Environment: The sea is right outside the window 🌊, and the sunset is absolutely stunning 🌇. Service: Excellent, no preferential treatment for foreigners at all.
The room is big and clean. We had a comfortable stay. Breakfast is good too. There are free bus services to Disney and to the train station. There are also free bus services to Tokyo downtown. Value for money 👍
It was ok, too expensive though. I got the family room, the room was big, but the bathroom especially the sink area was cramped, especially for how much the room cost. Small fridge but no freezer. Microwave all the way down in the lobby/foyer, that was annoying. There's a free shuttle bus to/from Shin-Uryasu metro, and also to Disneyland/sea. Its 10 min to the metro, but its about 25 min to Disneysea...
The hotel is good, clean, and very comfortable. It's just too far away. If you're not going to Disneyland, I wouldn't recommend staying here. Tokyo's public transport is too complicated, and we ended up taking a taxi.
It was amazing to have such a spacious room in Japan! The cleaning staff came every day to tidy up, and it was always spotless. Plus, there's a free shuttle to Disneyland and nearby malls, which is super convenient.

A business hotel close to the subway station. Breakfast on the first floor is delicious. Using sauna of B1 is a good way to relieve fatigue. The room is really small, so it is difficult for 2 people to use it. My back hurts because the bed is old. There are many restaurants and convenience stores near the subway. Unexpectedly, there are many Western tourists.
They were very helpful when I needed to store my luggage, and they even gave me directions to my destination, which was a huge help! I'd love to stay here again!
This is a typical chain business hotel. I usually stay elsewhere in Shinjuku, but it was fully booked. This hotel and my usual one are both about a 10-minute walk from the station. A definite plus here is the public bath downstairs, although it's clearly not a natural hot spring. I also appreciate its proximity to Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, which I love. It's a straightforward and convenient walk...
The room was clean and well-equipped, but the service at the counter was not impressive. They weren't as helpful or informative as they should have been when I had questions.
Cosy place with nice facilities. Staff were very friendly too
The stay overall was smooth. The room layout is somewhat unconventional, with several rooms featuring lowered ceiling beams that can feel restrictive in certain areas. This appears to be due to the building’s structural design and infrastructure placement, and while it may affect the sense of openness, the rooms remain functional and efficiently organised for short stays. On a positive note, the hotel...

Great location, and the airport shuttle was super convenient! I'd definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in Shinjuku. The service and cleanliness were also very good. Breakfast was just okay, with a limited selection, but the facilities were comprehensive. Plus, there's a convenience store right downstairs.
It is my third time staying in this hotel. Excellent location and convenient to everywhere. However, I was not told that there is a construction site (demolishing an old building) right opposite to my room and it is extremely noisy every morning sharp at 9am. Unpacking all my stuff in the room, I have struggled if I should ask for changing the room. So disappointing to its service in this regard.
Right next to Shinjuku Station, it's super close to the subway, JR, and bus terminal. The hotel lobby is on the 20th floor, and you can access a pedestrian bridge from the 2nd floor to walk to Takashimaya or Harajuku Station. Honestly, it's incredibly convenient! I'd definitely stay here again.
The location is great! Close to Shinjuku station is around a 4 mins walk to the station. Room is big and spacious. Would definitely stay here again
Nice hotel super close to Shinjuku station. The hotel gives a grand vibe, and is very clean and comfortable.
The hotel's location is fantastic. You can reach the Shinjuku Station New South Exit in just a few minutes from the second floor. The rooms on the higher floors offer great views, perfect for seeing the city lights twinkling at night. Plus, there's an Alexa smart assistant in the room that you can connect to via Bluetooth.

The room was standard, typical of a Mitsui hotel. The lobby is on the 15th floor, and the service was good. The location is relatively convenient. Overall, it's pretty decent. However, the elevators were slow and crowded.
Pretty terrible experience with the cleanliness of the hotel. The bathroom smelled like mold, there were several hairs throughout the room, it was dusty everywhere, and the worst part was that the bedsheets were stained and we asked room service to wash it but they didn’t. Thankfully the front desk is nice and they gave us a new room which was just as dirty but without the stained sheets. Breakfast...
The room isn't huge, but it's clean and tidy, and the bed is comfortable. The location is super convenient, making it easy to get anywhere. The large public bath is definitely a highlight of the hotel – it's incredibly relaxing after a long day. The breakfast, however, could use some improvement.
The location is great, right near Gotanda Station. You just cross the skybridge to get there. However, it's not ideal if you have large luggage, as crossing the road can be a bit of a hassle. There are plenty of food options nearby, giving it a good local vibe.
Very clean n comfortable hotel. Hotel reception located at the 15th floor with beautiful view sky garden. 2-3mins walk to subway station, a Lawson convenience store next to the hotel entrance. Nothing to complain about. I love staying here.
The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, truly just a 3-minute walk to Gotanda Station, which is a hub for multiple public transport lines. Exquisite location, great amenities and facilities. There were some spots regarding cleanliness, but all-in-all, for tourists like us, a hotel room is a place to recharge after a hard day. By the way, the bed is amazing!
Is so spacious for a hotel in Tokyo, there are plenty of big windows so you can see the nice night views, the room is so clear it gives a clean view of everything, and the massage chair is so convenient, my cousin fell asleep on it! The metro is next to it and it has a lift so is convenient when coming up with luggages! Would love to come back
Did not try the food. Room is small. Hotel very clean. Good location 200m from Roppongi station.
Cleanliness: Very clean, super satisfied. Facilities: The room is small, but it has everything you need. Service: Self-service check-in/out. Environment: The location is excellent, very close to the Hibiya Line exit, and you can walk to Minami Aoyama and Shibuya.
For a room with a view of Tokyo Tower, the value for money is pretty good; you can enjoy the tower view to your heart's content. The location is also excellent, very close to both Midtown and Roppongi Hills. The only minor issue I noticed is that the elevators always stop on the fourth floor. With four elevators in total, perhaps this could be optimized to be more guest-friendly.
The hotel is located in the vibrant Roppongi area, close to Tokyo Tower and near Don Quijote (Donki). The location is extremely convenient, with plenty of food options nearby. The hotel also offers beautiful views of the city. There is a bar and a yakiniku restaurant located within the hotel building, which makes dining very convenient. The room is quite spacious for Tokyo standards; we could manage to open two large suitcases. The location is about an 8-10 minute walk from the subway station. There are two good coffee shops nearby: one called Comfort and another called Byon Bay.
Chose this place because my roommate wanted to revisit it... Honestly, it was expensive with no redeeming features whatsoever... So overpriced! Completely not worth it. The hotel's location is excellent, and transportation is very convenient. The decor and facilities are all new, and you can even see the Ginza night view. The hotel's cleanliness is also top-notch. The only minor drawback is that the room felt a bit too small; I think a hotel at this price point should offer more spacious rooms.
Really nice location. Few minutes away from 銀座. Didn’t try their breakfast. But there are a lot of restaurants near by. Walking distance to 築地 as well .
Nice hotel, but very small room and no laundromat nearby. Their laundry service is super expensive.
This room size is just right for one person without luggage. I'm not sure what tier it falls into in Japan, but in China, it's probably on par with or slightly below a Hilton. I'd be willing to stay here again on my next trip to Tokyo. There's a Kyushu ramen place nearby that's quite good, but I wouldn't really recommend Yuzugumi (Oil Group).
The views of Ginza are nice. Not sure the service or amenities are up to the 5* standard though unfortunately! Good place to stay overall although could be better for a 5*

Super spacious. Easy to find. There is the elevator near by but have to walk across the street. There is the park near this hotel with beautiful sakura too. The room is big and clean. I wish to stay here again. The staff can speak english very well too.
The hotel's front desk is on the second floor, and there's a convenient store downstairs, which is really handy for buying things. The subway station is right outside, making it super easy to get around. It's also just a 20-minute walk to Chinatown. Just a heads up, you need to insert your key card for the power outlets in the room to work.
The front desk guy spoke Chinese, which was a nice surprise! Luggage storage and check-in were smooth and friendly. Self check-out was easy. The environment is great, much more comfortable than Tokyo or Osaka.
The hotel is a bit old, but the room and bed are very spacious, perfect for a pilgrimage for Yakuza fans. It's not located near the main attractions, but there's a subway station right downstairs, about 4-5 stops from Yokohama Station, and a taxi to Chinatown costs around 1000 JPY.
This place is kind of a hidden gem in Yokohama Great location, right near train station, a nice park, plenty of food and drink options, rooms are priced right, decent sized, carpeted, fresh towels daily, it’s quiet and tucked away from the main street but close enough to walk to quickly enough They have a buffet breakfast that looks great (haven’t tried yet) Book it! The hotel is always very accommodating and very clean. The food and the outdoor onsen area is fantastic. It’s like being in an onsen in the middle of the coty!

Good view for the hot spring, but the room is very small, not enough to open the gip,
Venue was nice, location wise is kind of outskirt of shinjuku, but acceptable, due to away from noisiness! However, the service was not to enjoyable, at times, i felt disrespected but the services.
The rooftop hot spring is great.
10-15 mins walk from Shinjuku train station. An open onsen and indoor onsen on top floor. Quite popular among tourist.
Overall experience is good although the room is slightly small for 2 persons. About less than 10mins walk to Shinjuku town area. The onsen is amazing with the entire Shinjuku view. Highly recommended.
Great traditional Japanese hotel with a spa like feel. Everything about this hotel is awesome! They cleaned our room everyday and replenished the towels too. Room was a good size for a Ryokan style hotel and the 18th floor onsen is beautiful with a great view over the city. Highly recommend!

It's such a beautiful and lovely hotel 🌺. This is the best hotel I've stayed at so far. The value for money at this hotel is incredible ❣️. Why do I say that? Because of its excellent service, cleanliness, and proximity to the station. It's especially convenient for getting to Chinatown, Motomachi, and other areas. It's also very quiet at night, and the surroundings are beautiful 😋. Since it's an American...
I initially wanted to stay in Minatomirai, but really didn't want an old room, so I chose the Hyatt – and I'm so glad I did! The service was super nice, as expected from Japanese hospitality. The location is excellent, very close to the subway station, and the airport shuttle stop at Yamashita Park is also nearby. It's really convenient for visiting attractions like Chinatown, Yamashita Park, Red Brick...
The hotel's location is great, very close to the port and Chinatown. The staff are polite and enthusiastic, the room facilities are complete, and the breakfast is also good.
The hotel service was excellent, and the location is great. However, parking in the underground garage for a rental car costs 2000 per day.
The hotel boasts an excellent location. It's a mere 5-minute walk from the MM line subway station, and after crossing just two streets, you're in Chinatown. The waterfront is also only a 5-minute stroll away. The room, though under 30 square meters, is considered spacious for Japan, and the bathroom features a convenient wet/dry separation. My room service calls were answered within minutes each time...
The hotel was excellent! We didn't have breakfast, but the environment was great and the price was quite reasonable. The best part was that the beds could be put together. It was truly wonderful. My child loved it...
