APA Hotel Ueno Ekimae in Tokyo

The room a bit small even luggage we need to put under the bed. Bathtub also small cannot fix me 🤣 but the location was superb

Very good location and helpful staffs. Good public bath (even a bit small ) on the top floor too.

Hotel location is good but the central air conditioner do not work properly resulting in a stuffy environment. Try calling for help but no one pick up the phone. Other than the stuffy room condition, the rest is okay.

Good location, near to metro, just 5 mins walk. Basic room setup, a lil small but works for short stays. 6 hangers on the wall for clothes and luggage can be stored under the bed.
Fresh towels and amenities provided each day, housekeeping every 3 days. Has coin laundry and dryer on the ground level, convenient store located across the hotel & nearby. Good value for money.

Reliable APA Hotel. The amenities like razors and toothbrushes are a lifesaver for business trips. I also appreciate having a lower pillow option.

Excellent location for me as I came into Tokyo late and had to catch an early train to Niigata the next morning.  Everything one would need. Love the Onsen.

• Introvert-Friendly: The check-in and check-out process is very streamlined (often via kiosks), so you don't have to worry about too much social interaction.
• Location: Super close to Ueno Station. It's so convenient for catching early trains (like my 4:30 AM trip!) without any stress.

🛁 The Public Bath (Sento):
The hotel has a public bathhouse, which is a great perk! However, being a shy type, I wasn't quite ready to try it out this time. Even if you don't use the bathhouse, the private shower in the room is clean and works perfectly.

📍 Final Verdict:
If you want a safe, quiet, and ultra-convenient place where you can just be yourself and "recharge," this is it.

Close to restaurants and bars, easy to get around.
