Hotel Belleview Nagasaki Dejima in Nagasaki

* Room size is a little bit small
* Breakfast food was quite delicious, but the food choices are too few
* The location is so close to the tram and bus stop, so it's really helpful when traveling alone.
* Many restaurants and there's a shopping mall too near the hotel.
* Quite close to tourist spots

The hotel is very convenient and near to the tram station. It is a good price with a reasonable bed size.

This is a pleasant hotel located right next to Dejima, the former Dutch settlement, and less than 10 minutes away from Chinatown. A tram stop is also right opposite the hotel. My room was comfortable and clean. However, check-in is at 3pm and checkout is strictly at 10am, with a fee for an extra hour.

Location-wise, the hotel is conveniently right in front of the Ohato Station of the Nagasaki tramway system, and is a very walkable distance away from many attractions including Dejimamachi, Nagasaki Shinchi Chinatown, and the Nagasaki Seaside Park. The cleanliness of the room and hallways was excellent and the front desk receptionists were kind and welcoming. The coin laundry room has 4 washing machines and 4 dryers (as of Sept 2025; do note that the coin laundry room feels like a free sauna when at least 4 machines are running), the wifi for guests worked consistently, and the smoke-free policy meant that no areas smelled of smoke. The air conditioning for the rooms was sufficiently cool, the lighting control and mini alarm clock by the bed worked well, and overall the room felt very cozy and comfortable to stay in. Because the single room has a relatively narrow entrance walkway, try to avoid bringing multiple pieces of large luggage as there may not be space to open them at the same time. I greatly enjoyed my stay here (especially it being my first solo trip), and would book it again if returning to Nagasaki in the future.

The position was excellent, trams right out front and lots tourist sites in walking distance. Lots shops nearby. The only complaint would be the size of the room. We could not pass each other between bed and cupboards and forget about opening your suit case

10 min walk from jr Nagasaki with luggage. 3 mins walk from you me where there's a big supermarket,Starbucks ,Uniqlo n. Pre-owned luxury bag shop. Also 5 mins walk from the port area where U can watch the sun set over the hills while having dinner or drinks. 10 mins walk from most yakiniku restaurants, but reservations are needed at peak times 6-8 pm......if it's full, ask what time to return for a table....most likely tables will be available after 8.

Great value, great location and great service. It is conveniently located near the main bus to/from airport, trams and shopping and sightseeing. I was not expecting such a good level of service for that price. Really happy with my stay.

A good hotel but a bit pricy,the location is okay and the service was wonderful!

Went to nagasaki and it turned out the hotel was right in front of tram stop in the heart of the old town. Nearby a mall and restaurants.

Good location. Walking distance to the famous bridge and the wharf.
