I gotso much more than expected for this price. Nice view from the room. Perfect location for visitor planning to visit the memorial museum. There is a convenience store on lobby, a lawson is within 2 minutes walk, and a Chinese restaurant around the corner. I will use this hotel again if I had the chance to visit Nagasaki.o

The soundproofing is average, not very good. I was woken up by numerous alarm clocks early in the morning.

If you’re planning a cruise trip to Gunkanjima (Hashima Island), this hotel is an extremely convenient choice.

Good location and quiet and comfortable rooms . Very nice bedding and good mattress .  No communal spaces in the hotel other than the lobby . No living room . No laundry service at the weekend . No English speaking  staff and google translate didn’t seem to work for them which meant I had a lot of frustration in trying to find out some information . If I spoke Japanese it would be a lot easier

Stayed here for 2 nights. Room was spacious with comfortable beds, and perfect for a good night of rest. That said, parts of the room has shown its age and could do with a makeover. Our room was facing the back of the mountain as well so it had no view unfortunately.

20251119 First Night stay from our Chan Brother Tour. Their Oriental Restaurant serves a simple breakfast and some nice food that a suitable for me. After breakfasts take a slow walk with some scenery before boarding bus to next tour site.

This hotel is close to the train station. About 10 minutes walk or just one or 2 stops of the city tram. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are small as most hotel rooms in this category! WiFi worked well in my room, but may not be the case everywhere in the building. Look for a room towards the harbor and mountain across the water. Just very nice!! Good value for money!

Located within 10min walk from Nagasaki station and Chinatown. There is a streetcar stop near the hotel. It is also within walking distance from the port and Dejima wharf. The location is very convenient. Room was tiny even by Japanese standards. Clean room but those with allergy need to take care, cause the air is so dry, it is super dusty. Some APA have room humidifier which can filter the air but not this one. There are plenty of car parks nearby for those driving to Nagasaki.

Best of the 3 APA’s we stayed at on this trip... room size was typical for japan (in my limited experience), and layout was like the rest, but the little things were a bit nicer, like a little more space in the entryway and around bed, so easier to lay out our travel gear. Good location near steetcar and other things. Clean.

It's a good hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is a bit small especially with two suitcases. The bathroom could be a bit more modern. There is a small gap between bathtub and wall where the water can go, who knows how it looks down there. The hotel is in walking distance to the train station, but a bit farther to the city center. All in all I would stay there again.

A bit pricey. But you get what you pay for. The rooms are fairly luxurious, everything you need is there, the beds are incredibly comfy. The bathroom is fine. Everything is very clean and the staff is nice. Although I dislike breakfast not being a standard part of the booking.

Building may be old but it is very clean and spacious rooms. Modern toilet and p bathroom. Ample toiletries and amenities. Staff members are courteous and helpful but English is limited so prepare to use translation apps. Street is not accessible to tourist bus.

Even though there is a limit on the number of people allowed in the women's large bath, many guests ignored the limit and entered. After bathing, I contacted the front desk to let them know that there were a lot of people exceeding the limit, and they told me, "We leave it up to the guests to use the bathroom, and the hotel cannot help you with that." The location is good, the facilities are a bit old, but the rooms are spacious. It's small and old, but I like the fact that it has a large public bath, and there are several coin laundry machines, so it's easy to do laundry. It is a good value hotel.

The hotel is quite a classic one and is located next to a small mountain. The view from upper floor (our room was on the 9th floor) give your a really nice view of the Nagasaki bay. The dinner and break fast buffet are both winners! So much variety and fresh! Very impressive!

Very nice onsen hotel, onsen with good view but specific time period for male and female to use the pool with view at 11 floor. My dinner timing slot was specified to be  at 7:30-9pm but when a go in at 7:30pm sharp most other guests are already inside. At 8:30pm food are already gone!

The buffet is famous and I was looking forward to it. However, I was disappointed with only two types of finely chopped sashimi, three types of thin nigiri, and vegetable tempura. The value for money is not good. Also, if I had known that students on a school trip would be staying there, I would have avoided it. The view from the rooftop open-air bath was amazing, so it's a shame.

The facilities in the room are a bit old, but it is very clean and the room is relatively large. There is a tatami next to the window, where you can lie down and look at the street view of Nagasaki. There is an open-air natural hot spring on the top floor of the hotel. You can soak in the hot water and watch Nagasaki, which has a great view.

This hotel probably saw it’s heydey in 1988 but it’s still comfortable and well located. The beds and bedding are super comfy with buckwheat pillows. The best part about the hotel is their onsen. It’s huge and has the hottest water I’ve yet experienced in Japan. Location is close to the foot bath and lots of izakayas. Highly recommend Obama Style Izakaya around the corner.

A bit odd checking in to a neighbouring hotel, issues with door lock batteries soon overcome, it was a fabulous base for exploring the coast, inland volcanoes, food and especially the recently reviewed Tourist Information which surely was the best I’ve ever encountered.

The hotel is right on the seaside, and the rooms are large, but the facilities are a bit old. There is a little gecko accompanying you at night If you are here specifically for travel, this hotel is not suitable. If you are just making a transition, it is a good choice.

The hotel is just right next to the bus terminal. Though it’s old, everything is clean and tidy. The front desk staff is all friendly and eager to help.

The hotel is in a good location. There is easy parking, boiled eggs, free water, and free ice cream in the onsen. The hotel is not very new, but the facilities are complete.

Very beautiful ryokan, nice and clean with a zen lush garden which you can walk around in the morning and evening. Meals were fantastic and prepared using fresh local ingredients, portions were great and filling. Overall, a very warm and memorablestay in Unzen!

No very good service during dinner

Everything was great! The dinner was wonderful, especially the beef and fish with mashed potatoes (a French dish). Everything is explained very clearly and politely! The staff is very warm-hearted.

Staff were super hospitable, breakfast and dinner were decadent and during dinner each dish/course was introduced to us in detail. The onsen was also super nice and relaxing with full amenities provided.

A wonderful hotel! The room has a great view of the city, and the room itself is simply beautiful. If you're ever in Nagasaki, I definitely recommend staying here. My only advice is to take a car/taxi/bus, but don't walk to the hotel! Yes, Google Maps will show the walk is short and only involves a couple of stairs. But that's not true; I've experienced it firsthand.

The facilities were old, and the bathroom was noticeably old, with things like the hand soap containers, and it didn't feel clean. I felt it was a bit disappointing considering the price.

It's good for a walk right behind the shrine and it's very quiet. There's also a stream flowing nearby, so it was very healing.

Near to Isahaya station The hotel is around 5-10 minute walk to Isahaya station. The receptionist is nice but barely understand and speak English. The room is neat and it’s super great to have a foot massage machine in it.

The location is very good. I stayed here for an event at the Amakusa Civic Center, and it was conveniently located for convenience stores, bus terminals, restaurants, and more. I highly recommend this hotel, including the front desk service.

Strategic location right opposite Hondo Bus Center in the middle of Amakusa city. Cute and very clean hotel with a traditional Japanese style room. The facilities are great. The room is warm but the bathtub water is not hot enough. Breakfast is available only in the set menu.

Whole day I rode under pouring rain and this hotel was my relief. I stayed in Japanese style room that I really like. Everything was clean, bed was comfortable. And they even provide beauty items such as oil, tonic etc for free.

The room was very old and had an uncomfortable smell. The can of Febreze provided did help remove the smell. The wifi occasionally stopped working. No hot water in the shower. Pros are the location was good and breakfast was nice.

Isahaya trip and a short stay for one night. The room is not big but very clean. There is also free laundry service and drying is also free. There are also three or four izakayas near the station. The quality is good. It is an all-you-can-eat restaurant. 3500yen per person.

this hotel is prestigious "the japanese classic hotel" it takes 1h30m from nagasaki airport with car and there is free limousine bus that you need to offer to hotel if you want to use. we use here to cerebrate our first wedding anniversary and wife's birthday. the hotel restaurant is pleasant and dinner is all wonderful. the staff treat us with attentive service. we were very satisfied.
