We booked 4 rooms for 10 people stays. So far my family enjoyed the stay here to experience the traditional Japanese ryokan with dinner and breakfast. Food are delicious as well
Staffs are very polite. Room is very big. Good service.
The management is inflexible. Because of flight delays, the hotel refuses to accommodate guests who are delayed by a day. The only option is to cancel without a refund and rebook. However, the hotel claims it's a problem with the system and cannot do this. This lack of flexibility causes losses for guests, which is very unsatisfactory. We hope the management methods can be improved.
Service was great, although I feel like the hotel is targeted at more elderly travelers. Breakfast was pretty and tasty. Onsen feels a bit unrenovated. The garden and the pond are pretty also. Would generally recommend, especially if you like to be thrown back to the 80s (but like in a good way).
This ryokan left mixed feelings. We decided to walk from the bus stop to the ryokan, and that was a mistake. Along the way, we passed dilapidated and abandoned ryokans, one of which still had a wreath from a funeral. What we saw was truly terrifying. At the ryokan itself, we were greeted warmly. They took our suitcases and took us to our room. They treated us to cold matcha and canelé. I was shocked...
Europe style room decoration. Hotel staffs are nice and friendly. Looking forward to watch firework soon.

Very cheap, and the overall environment is very retro.
I was satisfied with both the price and the service. I will definitely use your service again!
Even if you don't speak the language very well, you can still communicate!
Conveniently located and good value for the money. It has a nostalgic feel and friendly staff.
This is an old hotel located a liitle up slope and few blocks away from the train station. The television in the room even has a dyscryptor on it. The decoration in the hotel is unique with old style fashion. I would say I've got a good experience of living in such historical hotel.
This hotel is cost-effective and the location is okay. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the station. It is uphill to walk to the hotel. It is a bit tiring to push the big box. It is hygienic. Although it is a small hotel, it is very hygienic. The breakfast is okay and you can eat enough. , the waiter is very serious and the service is good. Worth recommending

I was quite disappointed with this booking made via Trip.com. I specifically booked a Deluxe Japanese Western style room with an outdoor hot bath, as the outdoor hot bath was a key reason for choosing this room. Upon check-in, I discovered that there was no outdoor hot bath, and I was informed that the room I had booked was not available. Initially, I was told that I had booked a room that did not...
Overall, it was fantastic! The only slight disappointment was that the soup served with dinner was lukewarm. On the bright side, I was really happy that both bathhouses had a shampoo bar! ( *´꒳`*)
I booked a corner room to enjoy the Nagasaki city view, and it was absolutely stunning—honestly the highlight of my stay. The staff were very friendly, and there were team members who specifically assisted international guests and spoke excellent English. If you’re looking for a place to relax, enjoy a panoramic view of Nagasaki, and soak in an onsen, this is definitely the hotel to stay at.
It's located on a pretty steep hill, and there isn't much commercial activity around. You'll need to take a bus to get into the city center. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, conveniently named after the hotel itself. Make sure you get off at that stop; getting off even one or two stops earlier will mean a steep climb. It's not far from the summit of Mount Inasa, and there's a direct bus...
I stayed here before the Sky Jamboree. I was shown to a room on the 8th floor, the night view was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the staff were very helpful.
I booked this place only for one night but it was totally worth it, and I immediately regretted my past decision of booking this place only for 1 day…  It was perfect place for calm-wellness kind of fam-trip with its spas(located in each bldgs!), delicious dinner(pre-booking is a must, i presume?) and breakfast! Inasayama(MT.Inasa) hill’s location could be the only problem but if you do not insist...

The Japanese-style room has futons, so I'm not sure if it's an experience that non-Japanese people would find acceptable. Both dinner and breakfast are Japanese, so this was also good. The portions were more than a Japanese person could eat, and the food was delicious. Meals are taken in the large hall. The hot springs have both indoor and outdoor baths for men and women, and they have a nice atmosphere...
I absolutely loved this place! The owner is very elegant and must have been a stunning beauty in her youth… She was incredibly kind and let us check in an hour early. The room was filled with pink and girly amenities – so lovely! The rainy weather made me feel so warm inside… The value for money absolutely blows away the neighboring Miyazaki and Hoshino Resorts (I've stayed at both). The open-air bath...
Since the location is on a mountain, driving was quite difficult when renting a car. The view and the Hell Pilgrimage Trail were good. The Hell Pilgrimage Trail consists of a deck that is easy to walk on with comfortable shoes, so it was easy to walk on. If you take your time, you can leisurely spend about an hour as you come down after looking at various things. There aren't many shopping streets...
日本の懐かしい温泉旅館を体験する事が出来ます。また、価格もリーズナブルで雲仙の地質学的重要地域(地獄と呼ばれる場所)も隣接しています。You can experience a nostalgic Japanese hot spring inn. Also, the price is reasonable and the geologically important area of Unzen (a place called hell) is next to the door.
It's an old place, but it's well maintained.
A good old inn. The food, hot springs, and personality were very satisfying, and it was an inn that made me want to go again. Especially, it was very comfortable to enter the hot spring at just the right temperature. I'd love to.

Only with the help of local could you find the hotel location. It was tucked inside a small side street on the left side of the main road. I had a great stay here in this quaint hotel, it's very convenient and located near many attractions. Many parking options as well if you are driving
Strategic location that is within walking distance to Chinatown and Nagasaki Hamamachi Shopping Street. It is also convenient to get around with a bus stop just right outside the hotel that goes to Nagasaki Station and a tram stop within 3-5mins walking distance. The area location was very convenient. The staff are nice but we stayed there for 3 days and they forgot to provide a towel and bathrobe sets for my partner twice. We has to asked them for it. I don’t know why they assumed I was solo when I booked for two but aside from that our stay was lovely.
I really didn't expect anything from staying at this hotel, as it was twice as cheap as anything in the area. But it's really a hidden gem! The location is perfect for exploring Nagasaki, in the heart of Chinatown, lots of eateries in the area, and a tram stop nearby. The entrance is between two buildings and not obvious at first glance, but Google maps will get you there. The hotel has a retro vibe...

It feels like a renovated old hotel. The night view from the Balinese-style beauty salon and sauna/open-air bath is amazing on a clear day. It was wonderful to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and watch the sun go down. ♪ The food and hot springs were both satisfying. ♪ The staff were also great. ♪
We were in the old building on the second floor and it seems they had some leakage problems. For instance, small flies like springtails were in the toilet room. I guess the new part of the hotel would be better. Also when the neighbours used the sink, the water came up in our sink. So I think in general the hotels plumbing could need some work. The rooms have a lovely view on the ocean.
It was a good price for a four-night stay as a solo traveller, but the view from the room and the dining options were a bit disappointing.
Not the newest facilities but everything was functional, clean and comfortable. Service was impeccable and everyone (from counter to restaurant) extended omotenashi. Dinner and breakfast were great, no wonder the multiple awards they won! Highly recommended!
Super good, I like the food, accommodation, hot springs and service staff. I will definitely stay here again next time. I stayed for two nights and it was very relaxing and comfortable. The sunset was also beautiful.
The building itself is old, but it has been well-cleaned and kept clean, the restaurant seems to have been renovated, it has a very stylish space, and all the food was delicious. I liked the hospitality of the staff and their willingness to assist you.
Overall it was good, except the walls were thin and I could hear the neighbors snoring.
My stay was absolutely fantastic and the staff very helpful. They helped me book my taxi and recommended a fantastic sushi restaurant down the road. It is quite close to the airport..only a 10 minute drive.

Excellent stay in this hotel and staff is very helpful. Room is clean and looks recently renovated. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and filling; outdoor onsen was not crowded. Felt relaxed during my stay here 😄 Especially grateful to Mr Inoue, who was a great help in sorting out my booking issue. Great hospitality!
The service was great, but the facilities were lacking. The food was terrible; the kaiseki dinner was a 1-star at best. As a retiree who travels to Japan monthly, this was the worst food I've ever had at a Japanese hotel. Even the onsen wasn't as fantastic as people claim. However, Unzen is a lovely town with a charming rustic feel.
The dinner was well-seasoned, well-balanced, and plentiful, so I was very satisfied. It had been a while since I'd last enjoyed the hot springs, and they were as great as the reviews said.
The hot springs are fantastic, and the hotel is truly excellent value for money. The only downside is its location on the outskirts of town. However, if you're here for relaxation, you won't need to leave often, so this is truly the best ryokan.
It was my first time at Unzen Onsen! It's a little far from Unzen Jigoku, but it was a lovely inn surrounded by greenery. The water is a milky white sulfur spring, and there is a large communal bath and an open-air bath. I was looking forward to using the private bath, but it was an extra charge, so I gave up this time. The dinner and breakfast were so good I couldn't finish it! I was very satisfied

We used this restaurant for a memorial service. Although the building was old and worn, it was clean. The meal was a kaiseki meal, and the seasoning was excellent overall, especially the crunchy freshness of the sashimi. The cooking method also had a retro-modern feel.

I made a reservation because it said breakfast was included, but the receptionist told me that there is no breakfast for stays on Sundays.
