Hotels in Nagasaki

We booked 4 rooms for 10 people stays. So far my family enjoyed the stay here to experience the traditional Japanese ryokan with dinner and breakfast. Food are delicious as well

Staffs are very polite. Room is very big. Good service.

The management is inflexible. Because of flight delays, the hotel refuses to accommodate guests who are delayed by a day. The only option is to cancel without a refund and rebook. However, the hotel claims it's a problem with the system and cannot do this. This lack of flexibility causes losses for guests, which is very unsatisfactory. We hope the management methods can be improved.

Service was great, although I feel like the hotel is targeted at more elderly travelers. Breakfast was pretty and tasty. Onsen feels a bit unrenovated. The garden and the pond are pretty also. Would generally recommend, especially if you like to be thrown back to the 80s (but like in a good way).

This ryokan left mixed feelings. We decided to walk from the bus stop to the ryokan, and that was a mistake. Along the way, we passed dilapidated and abandoned ryokans, one of which still had a wreath from a funeral. What we saw was truly terrifying. At the ryokan itself, we were greeted warmly. This is an old hotel located a liitle up slope and few blocks away from the train station. The television in the room even has a dyscryptor on it. The decoration in the hotel is unique with old style fashion. I would say I've got a good experience of living in such historical hotel.

This hotel is cost-effective and the location is okay. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the station. It is uphill to walk to the hotel. It is a bit tiring to push the big box. It is hygienic. I specifically booked a Deluxe Japanese Western style room with an outdoor hot bath, as the outdoor hot bath was a key reason for choosing this room. I booked a corner room to enjoy the Nagasaki city view, and it was absolutely stunning—honestly the highlight of my stay. The staff were very friendly, and there were team members who specifically assisted international guests and spoke excellent English. It's located on a pretty steep hill, and there isn't much commercial activity around. You'll need to take a bus to get into the city center. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, conveniently named after the hotel itself. Make sure you get off at that stop; getting off even one or two stops earlier will mean a steep climb. I stayed here before the Sky Jamboree. I was shown to a room on the 8th floor, the night view was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the staff were very helpful.

Since the location is on a mountain, driving was quite difficult when renting a car. The view and the Hell Pilgrimage Trail were good. A very nice hotel. The night view is beautiful, the hot spring is very relaxing, and although the room is a bit old, the bed is very comfortable. You can go directly up the mountain to see the night view of Nagasaki. It's very suitable for couples.

We were in the old building on the second floor and it seems they had some leakage problems. For instance, small flies like springtails were in the toilet room. I guess the new part of the hotel would be better. Also when the neighbours used the sink, the water came up in our sink. So I think in general the hotels plumbing could need some work. The rooms have a lovely view on the ocean.

It was a good price for a four-night stay as a solo traveller, but the view from the room and the dining options were a bit disappointing.

Omura isn't a big city, but I was there for nine days on a business trip. This hotel was clean and comfortable, with a bath. While not close to the station, there are ramen and sushi restaurants nearby. A large supermarket, Donki, is a 15-20 minute walk away.

Nestled right opposite a shopping arcade and within minutes walk from the City Tram, this capsule hotel is clean and comfortable! You can rent a humidifier from the front reception, and there is also a hot bath where you can relax after a days walk! Right behind the hotel is Chinatown, and there is a 7-11 too! Situated in a lively area, there are plenty of places to eat nearby. There's also a shopping centre nearby with a wide variety of stores. Located close to Kankodori Station, it's the perfect place to stay and have a drink. There's also a bath so you can relax after a day of sightseeing.

The service was great, but the facilities were lacking. The food was terrible; the kaiseki dinner was a 1-star at best. As a retiree who travels to Japan monthly, this was the worst food I've ever had at a Japanese hotel. Even the onsen wasn't as fantastic as people claim. However, Unzen is a lovely town with a charming rustic feel.

It was my first time at Unzen Onsen! It's a little far from Unzen Jigoku, but it was a lovely inn surrounded by greenery. The water is a milky white sulfur spring, and there is a large communal bath and an open-air bath. I was looking forward to using the private bath, but it was an extra charge, so I gave up this time. The scenery is beautiful, but there are hardly any restaurants, cafes or other places to eat and drink nearby, so even though we were by car, we had to travel up a steep, winding road with lots of elevation changes, so I regret not having looked into this beforehand.

We used this restaurant for a memorial service. Although the building was old and worn, it was clean. The meal was a kaiseki meal, and the seasoning was excellent overall, especially the crunchy freshness of the sashimi. The cooking method also had a retro-modern feel.

It was nice that breakfast was included and that the bus stop to the airport was nearby. However, the mirror was dirty and the room lock was a bit of a hassle as it didn't auto-lock with a key. I thought the service was good.

The location is not bad, and the price is also good. If you get a smoking room, it smells a lot. I recommend getting a non-smoking room. It is good that you can leave your key and go out.

The breakfast was very luxurious and filling. The room was very spacious, and the interior had a lovely atmosphere reminiscent of a Western-style building.

If you plan to go to Mt. Inasa, it is definitely worth staying here. It is about 1/3 of the way to the observation deck. I got off the JR and walked up the small road. It was around 8pm. The location is excellent, and you can walk to Unzen Jigokudani in a few minutes. The springs are acidic, simple sulfur springs, and sulfate springs.
