The owner was very friendly, the breakfast was delicious, and the host recommended some great sightseeing spots. We were able to see some beautiful scenery.

The third floor accommodates a family of five or more. The hallway-style bathroom, sink, and bathroom are great! The breakfast was especially delicious. The kids each had two bowls. Haha.
The tangerines they gave us for dessert were sweet and delicious.
It was a little chilly in the early mornings because it was autumn, but it was perfect for a good night's sleep!
Rental parking was convenient. Dogo Onsen was right nearby, so we enjoyed a relaxing soak in the warm waters every evening. They always provided a basket with towels and other items for us to use during our visit. After our visit, we could shop, eat, and relax. The area around the accommodation was quiet and clean, making it a great place for a stroll. It felt like a country home, and the comfort and convenience were fantastic.

The location is great, but the rooms are not good. The common areas are not clean. The price-performance ratio is too low. The price is too high on Saturdays. It's more like a family-run guesthouse.

Host was super nice and friendly.
Location was great, just next to onsen and shopping street.

The location is fantastic, very close to the train station, making travel incredibly convenient. There's also a beautiful shrine with scenic views right next door. The host was wonderful; they offered excellent recommendations for famous local attractions and delicious eateries. They even asked what kind of fish we'd prefer for our meal the following day, suggesting mackerel for those who like fish with fewer bones.

The hotel is family-run and very old. It has 4 floors with no elevator. Be aware that Room 402 on the top floor does not have a private toilet; it's located on the communal landing. Our initial room had a washbasin in the corridor; upon request, we were moved to a room with an in-room toilet. There was a noticeable odor and noise from the street. The beds were squeaky. The Wi-Fi was extremely weak, barely reaching the top floor. Unfortunately, even the hotel's close proximity to Dogo Onsen and the warm hospitality of the owners couldn't make up for these significant downsides.

It's good, and offers excellent value for money. I booked it during the university entrance exam season, and while other hotels had hiked their prices, this one impressively kept its rates unchanged.

Old school feel. A nice place to stay near the main onsen. Other than staying the night and chatting with the owner I didn’t do much there. I spent more if my time around town.
