1000 Years of Tradition - Akiu Onsen Sakan in Sendai

The hotel offered a free shuttle bus from Sendai station. The food is fine dinning. The service are excellent. The room is clean and tidy.

A good hotel for consideration

This is a standard, established, large hot spring hotel. The lobby is beautifully decorated, the koi fish are charming, and the rooms are spacious. The hot springs are rather unremarkable, and the semi-buffet dinner was particularly disappointing. I've stayed at many onsen hotels with a stay and two meals option, and this one was quite subpar. The free shuttle bus from Sendai Station was a nice touch.

I heard that many years ago, Sakkan had visited Ginsui-so, so I came here because of its reputation. Seeing is believing. The decoration of the lobby is really elegant and Japanese. There is a welcome drink of coffee or tea from 16:00 to 18:00, but I think it is too monotonous. It should be added with a piece of biscuit or fruit. The layout of the room is also very good. It is very comfortable for 4 people to live in. The pillows and quilts all have the smell of the sun, which I like. Dinner is a mini buffet with staple food, but it is not too small. There are many and exquisite dishes. Not to mention the hot springs, one of which is right by the river, which is a rare experience. I think my personal impression of Sakkan is very good.

Booked it on my own trip. The room decoration is a little old, but I can understand it. Overall it is still very good. I soaked it three times. The service didn't originally order dinner, but after communication, a buffet was temporarily added. I like the service

Service: Also very good, the hotel is very large and each room will be given a map before check-in. And clearly mark the time and gender of use of each floor.

The receptionist at the front desk was very attentive and sent someone to lead the way. The hotel is very large and the route is a bit roundabout.

The hot spring is nice. The food is average and the room is a bit old. The price/performance ratio is not high. It is okay to go once, but I won't go a second time. The transportation is not very convenient.
