It is one of the worst experiences with the hotel customer services team
This was my favorite hotel during my trip to Jordan! All the staff were so kind and helpful with everything. The dinner and breakfast had a great variety, were clean, and freshly made. The room was very spacious and spotless, and the hotel also has parking space. Everything was just perfect!
My parents and I really enjoyed our stay at Petra Canyon. We had a great view of the city and Petra, the room was clean and comfortable and the dinner buffet was very nice. Would recommend!
This hotel is a good choice for the area, and its location is excellent, directly across from the Horseshoe Road, offering breathtaking views. The $100 room rate includes breakfast and dinner for two, which is quite a bargain.
The hotel is nice, the food is delicious. The only downside is that some money disappeared from the safe; some was stolen from a bag that was in the safe. We called the hotel, and the first thing they said was that the hotel isn't responsible for missing money or items. If you plan to stay there, I advise you not to leave anything valuable in your room.
Good hotel. I was only there for 6 hours. It's really close to Petra. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The receptionist, Mohammad, helped me tie my head wrap. Decent breakfast with egg bar . Would stay again.

Amman, Haneen bin Is-Haq 🧭 Map
It was my first time in Jordan and everyone took great care of me so I had a great time. I was a little worried because there were a lot of negative reviews, but contrary to my worries, the service was really good.
It was a fantastic experience with a great service level ,the hotel was located in the middle of the town and it’s near by all our vital locations .
Great front desk staff. Helpful and friendly. Good space rooms. However mattress needs some updating away from spring box mattress type. Facilities are clean and quiet location.
everything was good, room was nice , big and clean , however shower pressure was not strong , which meant me spending considerable amount of time just in shower, as water was just dripping, i suggest management repair the shower in the rooms where there is no pressure or fix it by other ways.
Even though the room could use a little renovation, you can still imagine that this Hotel used to be upscale. It came with a living room.
Slightly older already and a bit far from the city center. Other than that it has everything you need.

Nice hotel, delicious breakfast, panoramic windows overlooking the ocean
Everything was comfortable. The reception staff were very good, especially The Egyptian Mr. Fayz who works at the café, thank you very much to him. The hotel location is excellent, with the sea in front of you and markets and restaurants beside you, so you don't need to rent a car.
The hotel is in a great location. You can see the sea from the room. It is very close to Aqaba Fort, museums, mosques, snack bars, cafes and restaurants. You can reach them on foot, which is very convenient.
Everything was excellent, super staff, view from the terrace, affordable, worth it!

Fantastic hotel experience with polite staff, very clean rooms, great service, calm atmosphere, and excellent location.
Overall, a good impression. The location is about 2 km from the entrance to Petra. It's a hilly road with ups and downs, so you'll need to take a taxi – around 2-3 dinars each way. (Ride-hailing apps don't work in the city, so you'll have to negotiate with taxi drivers directly). Breakfasts were decent. Everything in the room worked fine, no issues. The room itself wasn't very big.
Excellent value for money, to see Petra good structure, very kind staff, everything ok
Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok, we stayed for dinner one night too which was pretty reasonable. Overall good value for the price. Only downside is it’s not an easy walk back up the hill after a full day at Petra!

Wonderful stay and i highly recommend it whether for leisure trips or business.. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was exceptionally comfortable . The staff were professional friendly and quick to respond to any request
- The hotel is in good location - Good breakfast - Good WIFI - They refused to have my own tool box (I am an engineer with light tool box) and insist that I leave it at the reception which is very strange - It is very noisy when there is a party (which is almost everyday) I could not sleep as the sound was inside my room

Very good value for the money you will pay in this hotel. Crystal Hotel is very good for a short stay in my opinion as I spent three nights last month everything was very good and also they are serving a breakfast. Wonderful hotel in a stunning location with a private coral beach and diving centre. The staff were wonderful. Complimentary treats in the mini fridge was a lovely touch. For what it cost, The Strand is absolutely fine. The staff were helpful and the rooms a good size. Somewhat dated decor but clean. Food rather basic and uninsipring but fine. The location was ok for us but a taxi ride to anwhere significant in Amman. If looking for a budget, adequate hotel, this would be perfect.
