Where to stay in Cholpon-Ata

Had a great stay for affordeable price. The hosts are also lovely and very accommodating. 5 mins walk from the beach.

Small rooms and the sheets and bed covers were a bit smelly. There were 3 beds in a small room and the bathroom was small too but the service and the room all made of wood was nice.

A good budget accomodation, a beautiful wooden house, very close to the Issyk-kul lake. Easy to find based on the photo of the house. Bathroom in the room as well as TV. Towels included. No kettle, no cups or other basic dishes, basically no kitchen, only a fridge available in shared part of the house.

I do really love this gorgeous guesthouse. We used to stay at this house every time we visit Cholpon-Ata and Issyk-Kul lake. This will be already the 4th time we live here. A wonderful boarding house, an oasis on the shore of Issyk Kul. I liked the service, the rooms and most importantly the food is very tasty. We think we will return to this place again.

We had a great stay! Dimitri was a friendly and helpful host who made us feel very welcome. The room was clean, comfortable, and very reasonably priced. There was also a good parking facility, which was very convenient. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Cholpon-Ata!

We vacationed with my family at the end of August 2022. Everything was just perfect! Clean, cozy, delicious!!!! My parents and son were very happy!!! Again, cleanliness is a big focus for our family!!! The only downside is the road to the beach. While it's nice to walk, the road itself is very dirty and, in my opinion, it's still a bit far. But that's not the case with a guest house.

We mistakenly chose a single bed, but they gave us a larger and more spacious room for the same price. The location is convenient, within walking distance of the center, and very close to the beach.

We arrived at night - they checked us in without any problems. All complaints are exclusively about the room (didn't try the food, the location didn't matter, etc.). In addition to the fact that you have to climb a hellishly dangerous staircase (it's scary to even imagine what would happen if you went up it drunk...), it's not easy to enter the room - you go in alone and rest your knees on the bed...

I stayed in the "luxury" house I guess it was okay no wifi the beds feel like they were made with wood the bathroom door lock was busted there was a bunch of garbage under the beds stuff in the fridge and bunch of cobwebs everywhere the beach was pretty good

And now this place is abandoned, but for lovers of quiet places it is perfect. Occasionally there are cows and people walking there, but this does not bother much. The bridges are old and the house too. There is nothing inside, just white walls and a wooden floor. Some windows are also missing. To go to unwind will come down.

Kind of a hostel what u expecting? Toilet, bathroom, kitchen and rooms are very clean. For sure it's not a fancy 5 star hotel. Wi-Fi works good. It's a bit far from center but it gives u silence to have rest. Owner is kind and helpful person.

The house is not bad. It is located 100m from the beach, but the house itself is not easy to find. There is a dining room in the basement, you can cook for yourself, there is all the dishes. At the end of the season prices are affordable.

It is convenient that the beach is two steps away, there are not many people. There is free table tennis and billiards. Everything a tourist needs is within walking distance.

We’ve stayed in room for 3 person. Even though it was booked for 2 only, next day after check in they wanted to add one more person in our room which is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! How can you just add random people in someone’s room? Another complaint is about toilet smell. It was unbearable and we had to share it with another room, while booking I checked if it was shared bathroom or no, agent convinced...

great place for a vacation with family. In the evening, the view of the guesthouse is amazing. a lot of greenery, clean beach, ennobled territory. there are many medical treatments and food. the rooms are comfortable, spacious enough, the balcony offers a stunning view of the lake. awesome!

Great location. The rooms are great. There's a nicely designed TV. Everything is neat and tidy. There's a children's pool. In the evenings, they show cartoons on the projector. There's one downside: the beach there isn't very good.
