Conveniently located near airport and right next to a shopping mall. Our flight arrived at midnight so we needed a place to stay for the night. Staff are kind and the location is the main reason why we stayed here.
All was good but it surprises me that over the counter daily charges was less than whatever we paid here. We thought trip is cheaper but actually its not.🤔😏
Very close to mall , 5 mins by walk, reasonable price and clean.
Got table in room to let me do my work even though it’s a budget hotel 👍
The room was too small but cute 🤭🤭 the most important for me is the room is so clean and the location is perfect 🤩…

This hotel is exceptionally clean and truly reflects a heritage-class property.
Everything is well maintained, full of character, and gives a premium heritage experience.
One of the best hotels in Penang, both in terms of cleanliness and overall atmosphere.
The stay was excellent and memorable.
If there were such a thing, this hotel definitely deserves 6 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.
Highly recommended.
I m first time stay at this hotel , i saw there is 3.5 star reviews in Google review after i booked hotel.
My expectations not so high ,before i check in . While , after i stay here for 3 night , there is a good experience for me as a solo travelers for the price.
Well, u must prepare your own blanket and bedsheet , hair blower , ear plug , hair shampoo and conditioner , then u will enjoy yourself...
ok just nice can be repeat but not too spacious thats it, then its comfortable . picture not related but u must try go here then u will recommend others
Toilet was unclean. Need to refurbished
The room is tiny & tidy, clean & comfortable the bed enough for 1 person only..during sleep i smell of fungus quite strong may there molded under the bed hope the hotel to improve on this problem, i love there feel at home & easy access to exiting roads ,going to stay again
Excellent service from reception guys at the counter. The room is clean and the bed is comfy! Though the room is quite small in size but the mattress and pillow solve it all.

Easy to walk around the heritages and travel to jetty mainland. You will miss these the streets food, beer and crowd people in the evening music time. I will go again when holidays.
Toilet very smelly.

The cleanliness can be improved. There is a lot of dust found on the walls and mould could be found in the bathroom. There was first a lot of dust or lint on the blanket covered when I got the room and asked for change. The cleaning staff became grumpy but ended up changed that after I insisted. Later I found that the room has no window while my booking should be with window. I was finally changed...

Decent stay. The location is excellent, right in the city center, and the surrounding area is very lively with everything you could ask for. Despite being in such a bustling spot, the hotel is tucked away down a side street, making it surprisingly quiet.

The room is average, but the hotel receptionists are nice
Awesome service throughout the stay, clean and comfortable rooms with all the necessary amenities, and the bonus of having an included parking area.
I was surpised as service was good.clean room nearby eating places..n shopping centre..the room is small but for 1 or 2 person its enough.air con.working..toilet clean..bed comfortable..tea service n water bottles supplied..im happy..as its reasonable..if i cant sleep i switch off aircon.as it get cool..for me.at 16C..
Happy stay..will come again
Plenty of delicious food, reasonable prices n nice night lifestyles to go round the clock 👍
Service is not impressive. Front desk ask for depo (RM50) is understandable but they don’t prepare for change so they ask for RM100 (only take cash). Facilities is broken (shower) cannot hang so you have to hold the shower head when you wash. Cleanliness is the worst. There is a foul smell when you enter the hallway to your room. No parking provided even if you booked one. First come first serve, so...

Everything about this hotel – the environment, facilities, and service – was excellent! We even had a little incident: on our checkout day, we were already at the airport, about to fly to Langkawi, when my family realized a phone had been left behind at the hotel. We thought it was gone for good, but I called them just in case. To our surprise, the hotel offered to send the phone to our next hotel...
Excellent hotel! The breakfast and afternoon tea were delicious, the service was great, the environment was lovely, and the location was perfect with lots of food options nearby. My flight was late, so I requested a late check-out, and the hotel readily agreed. Highly recommend!
The room was spotless and neatly tidied every day by the housekeeping staff. They offer a complimentary afternoon tea, and the cheese mini-cakes were quite delicious. Behind the hotel, there's a breakfast place that's open until 9 or 10 PM. It's very affordable, and you'll see a lot of locals eating there.
Excellent location, staff are friendly and staying in a heritage house does add to the vibes.
Location is quite central, many attractions are within walking distance.
Building itself needs some update, especially the water pressure. It made a loud noise every time the toilet flushed and water tap turned on.
Free afternoon tea is a nice touch, but disappointed there were no cold drinks served.
An excellent experience, I'll definitely book again next time.
Ambiance: Clean and fresh. The dining is top-notch, with a very rich breakfast spread. I highly recommend the Nasi Lemak (๑¯◡¯๑)! Plus, there's afternoon tea.

Good place at Penang . Strategis place , easy to find food . You can take bus Rapid Penang best this hostel. Air conditioning is cold.
This delightful hostel is very idyllic. It is set in a traditional shophouse typical of Southern China, Malaysia and Singapore and so has an old world charm that is hard to find elsewhere. Clean, and cost-friendly. Would recommend for travelers on a budget. Bathrooms and bedrooms are clean and comfortable. No frills.
Very nice owner who gives good advice, thin walls but people are careful. Showers could be cleaner. The room without windows is very quiet... Except Saturday (until 23 only) cause Georgetown is having fun! 😉.
I enjoyed my stay there.
Great location. Really close to love lane, Armenian street , bay shetty, little India. A part from that, they should reorganize their living room. The owner is Chinese. The location is very good and very unique. Except for the poor soundproofing, there are always elderly people chatting at night.
The location is excellent. Sleeping in the center of the scenic area, it takes only 10 minutes to walk to the famous check-in spots. You can start the city walk as soon as you get up😁

The hotel was nice however, the location is not really good and at least 15 mins away from city center. Staff was friendly, but we didn’t really felt welcomed. Breakfast was served and very limited. They didn’t asked whether we would like more coffee or juice. Same with the afternoon tea they offer. Each of us got a half of a half piece of cake. Very nice heritage building. Attentive front office willing to spend time sharing the city with you. I like the turn-down service and the little surprises each evening, could be a local cookies or a traditional little souvenir. They tidy up each of my charging wires with Noordin Mews cable ties. Breakfast is served from a menu, unhurried, casual and enjoyable.
We booked for two days and ended up extending for another four! Everyone, from the kids to the grandparents, was absolutely delighted! It truly felt like a cozy home away from home. The kids especially loved the pool! It’s wonderfully quiet despite being close to everything – a 7-Eleven, restaurants, and a shopping center are all nearby. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to recommend local food and attractions. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the little Christmas gift was such a thoughtful touch. It was a bit pricier than other accommodations, but definitely worth the money. Highly recommend!

I spent two nights here on a business trip. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of George Town andLittle India. It’s a lovely heritage building with beautiful furniture and décor. The Nutmeg room, despite not having windows, was spacious and comfortable. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi connection was not very steady or fast.
One of the most enjoyable stays I've had in long time. The East Indies Mansion is beautifully renovated and the elegant decor and atmosphere were truly enjoyable. Loved staying in this original Penang mansion. Tasteful interiors, books and objets d'arts. Super comfortable beds, delightful staff and a quiet respite from the buzz of the neighbourhood. A well conserved pre war mansion. Wanting to experience how rich merchant lived and yester years. Well, not disappointed. Besides having a chance to see the furniture of those era, the architectural layout of this mansion is really eye opener. We arrive at the hotel 2 hour ahead and we allowed to check in. The room clean, the receptionist helpful, they have sharing living room and that so calm and warm. Really recommend
Reception was pretty nice, along with the lobby. However I had difficulty sleeping at night due to the poor insulation of the room, especially the windows lacking proper seal, causing the AC compressor noise to leak in. Additionally, I hear footsteps upstairs all night, which was quite distracting. Mosquitos are also a problem here.
