Adamson Hotel Kuala Lumpur in Kuala Lumpur

At first I did not know why this hotel got low review compared to Kingston 2 hotel which we have to canceled as they duped us for having window view but actually gave a windowless and room of foul tobacco smell. Out of dasperation we cancelled that hotel and book this hotel.Thank goodness that it is not windowless. Initially gave 5 star but then I reviewed back. Yes the room is much better than Kingston2 hotel as it has window view of KL and the room is clean and not smelly. Got the 12th floor with view of kl.
But then the wifi did not work..request something to be done ..but reception said the maintenance guy already left for home and cannot do anything about it. Lucky we have our own phone internet connection which we can share with our pc.
And then things gets bad to worst...work up at 1.00 in the morning of a loud bang..most probably from the riif.Then heard noises from the street from motorcycles and cars. It kept me awake upto initially 3.30 in the morning....still awake at 4.30 am..After checking their windows is faulty and could not closed properly, lot of holes and opening causing traffic noise penetrate the room. Initially giving 5 stars for room, now downgrade to 1 due these noise issue...bad maintenance. ..I did went down to night clerk and kacau his sleep at 3.00 am...showed him the picture..and how the noise from the traffic kept me awake..he said there is no complaints before but then looking at the spoiled window it did not happen within a day maybe months or years...
It is a pity that after looking at all the comments here they did not learned their mistakes. Since I am from building mtce background it shows major failure in maintenance and management system. There checklist of daily weekly, monthly and yearly mtce activities. Place is nice but the people who runs and manages it needs improvement. They should check the room daily and immediately identify problems.

Wifi was up and running in the morning and I knew that it is just a matter resetting the router which the evening clerk refuse to do. It is a matter of failure to manage.

So disappointed with the hotel receptionist ! My friends complaint about the air-conditioning but they take the matters lightly. It was so hot that time we're sweating bucket! Later, we heard the male staff talked shit about us! So rude!! First & last!!

Very poor maintenance hotel. Bed sheet got blood stain and we already requested for change but no one entertained us. We even went down to the receptionist few times but still no change until we asked them to hand over the sheet itself to us. Bathroom also in a bad condition (not clean). Not recommended for a stay.

Not value for money. Cockroach smell in the bathroom. The bathroom door is broken. The room ceiling is full of spider web. The power plug one is behind the cabinet and one is hid beside the bed, need to move the bed out to get to use the plug. Only half roll toilet paper left in the room.
Include breakfast But not much choices. Not good maintained, outside of the building and the photos on website are so nice but inside is poor condition. Not worth.
The location is good.
