It was a really nice experience! The location is absolutely stunning – surrounded by crystal-clear turquoise water and beautiful white sand beaches. The water villa was amazing, very private and perfect for relaxing. We especially loved the private and peaceful atmosphere of the island. The staff were friendly and made us feel very welcome during our stay. It truly felt like a paradise, and we would definitely love to come back.

We chose Sun Island for our anniversary and it absolutely delivered. Our villa was beautiful and wonderfully private, exactly the quiet escape we were hoping for, and the dining was a real standout, with so much variety across the restaurants that we never got bored. The staff made it, though: warm, attentive, and full of small touches that made the whole trip feel personal. The house reef was incredible (we snorkeled straight off the beach most mornings), the dolphin and sandbank excursions were unforgettable, and the spa was the perfect way to slow everything down. A magical anniversary — we'll definitely be back.

Hotel Villa Park is the perfect place for a family vacation with children. The hotel has a separate kids' complex with a pool, various activities, discos, and much more. You can leave your child in professional hands and enjoy a wonderful holiday. The hotel also boasts its own reef where you can spot sharks, turtles, fish, and even moray eels. The food is simply amazing, with all dishes constantly being replenished. The variety of options is dazzling. Every evening, hotel staff feed sharks and stingrays near the overwater villas, which is a truly captivating sight. We will definitely be back to this wonderful place ❤️

It is a very nice resort. We stayed 6 nights in a sunset water villa. The room might be a bit dated, but it is fully equipped, in good condition, and housekeeping is excellent. Definitely recommended! The sunset there is fantastic, and being able to step straight into the sea from your villa is lovely. Many fish swim past, sometimes small sharks and rays, and we even saw turtles right under the villa! An advantage of a water villa is the Southern Star restaurant, which is truly fantastic. A huge selection and very high-quality food. The staff is very welcoming and does their utmost to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Compliments to Neen and Anwar in particular! In general, all the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Excursions are well organized, and we saw all the marine animals we were looking for (manta rays, whale sharks, turtles, dolphins); also highly recommended!

The only downside to the resort is the reception. Communication is poor, employees contradict each other, and they are not really helpful. We received a message to come and pay a bill; subsequently, they claimed to know nothing about it and sent us away, yet we received another message saying the bill was still outstanding. We had to ask for information about our transfer three times (they said they would inform us, but we are still waiting for their update). You have to chase them up yourself, which is simply not good for a resort like this, and unlike other departments, they just don't radiate any passion. A failing grade in this area.

Otherwise, highly recommended!

Hello everyone! We stayed at the Resort from March 11th to 17th. If I could give it 200 points, I absolutely would!
We really loved the resort, our beach villa, and the food – we opted for the full board.
Housekeeping came twice a day, and the staff was friendly. The island is large with plenty of activities and pristine white sand beaches. There's a bird park, a small botanical garden, and we watched shark feeding. In the evenings, manta rays swim in, and we saw flying foxes in the forest. There's an interesting program on the island every day, including yoga, aqua fitness, meditation, a disco, live music, and much more. We went on a dolphin watching trip and were lucky enough to see them. We got around the island by rented bicycles, but there are also free buggies available.
We absolutely loved everything, and I would definitely come back again!

Stayed from January 2nd to 11th, 2026. We booked a lagoon room, and the water was turquoise. The island is large, and there's always something to do. We visited the spa, restaurants, and sports facilities. We'll definitely be back!

This is the most beautiful resort in the Maldives, with wonderful staff, gorgeous rooms, and restaurants that live up to a 5-star standard. It's our favorite place in the world.

We had a paradise-like vacation. The food and drinks were delicious, and the rooms were very clean, with housekeeping service twice a day. A definite highlight of the hotel is the incredibly kind and helpful staff, especially in the main restaurant — Shah Alam.

A small downside was the lack of an all-inclusive package after check-out. We were no longer able to use the café and bars while waiting several hours for our transfer to the airport.

We had a wonderful stay and honestly couldn’t have asked for more. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary room upgrade, which made our experience even more special. Housekeeping was excellent ,the room was cleaned every day, and the bed was even made twice daily by the staff member who came to check and restock the minibar.

We chose the all-inclusive package and it was absolutely worth it. The food was good and varied. Everything felt generous and very well organized.

The resort is extremely baby-friendly, which meant a lot to us as a family. They even placed a baby cot in our room without us having to request one,such a thoughtful detail that really showed how attentive they are to families with children. There were lots of activities to enjoy, the island itself is stunningly beautiful, and the whole atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing.

The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and always smiling. Everything was spotless and impeccably maintained.

The only thing worth mentioning is the transfer time. We landed in Malé at 14:00 and reached the resort around 19:00-20:00 due to the waiting time for the domestic flight. Next time, we would probably choose the seaplane transfer instead, as it seems faster and more convenient. Still, once we arrived, it was absolutely worth the journey.
