Baglioni Resort Maldives - Luxury All Inclusive in South Nilandhe Atoll

We stayed at this hotel at the beginning of December and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The resort is truly amazing, but what made our stay exceptional was the incredible hospitality of the staff — everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. A special mention goes to the Guest Relations team, who made sure we were satisfied with every aspect of our stay.

We really enjoyed all the fitness activities and tennis, well organized.

The snorkeling experience was outstanding — you can easily snorkel for hours every day and never get bored. There is always something to see, and the marine life is stunning.

The resort is child-friendly and popular with families, yet it never felt crowded or noisy.

The food was delicious, with a wide variety of high-quality options. The cocktails were excellent as well.

Overall, this resort offers the perfect mix of entertainment, relaxation, privacy, and luxury. We would absolutely love to come back to this wonderful place again.

From the moment we arrived, the Baglioni resort in the Maldives exceeded every expectation and redefined what luxury truly feels like. Set in the most breathtaking surroundings, with crystal-clear turquoise waters and powder-soft white sand, it felt like stepping into a dream. Our water villa was absolutely stunning—spacious and beautifully designed. Waking up to uninterrupted ocean views and stepping straight into the warm lagoon was something we’ll never forget. One of the most special parts of our stay was the incredible room service. Our room attendant was not only super friendly and attentive, but he truly went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Every single day, he surprised our son with beautifully crafted sea animals made from towels, and it absolutely made his day—every day. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, always going above and beyond to ensure every moment was perfect. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and their personal touches made us feel incredibly special. The dining experience was equally outstanding. Each meal was a delight, with a wide variety of high-quality dishes, beautifully presented and full of flavor. Whether it was a romantic dinner on the beach, beautiful setup and absolutely delicious food at Yama or a relaxed lunch at Mitro Pool bar, every setting was unforgettable. The resort offers the perfect balance of relaxation and activities. From snorkeling in vibrant coral reefs to simply unwinding with a cocktail at sunset, there is something for every mood. The peaceful atmosphere makes it ideal for completely switching off and soaking in the beauty of paradise. If you’re looking for a place that combines luxury, serenity, and world-class hospitality, this resort is simply perfect. We are already dreaming of coming back.

My experience practicing yoga with Arun Dev at Baglioni Maldives has been truly exceptional and deeply enriching. From the very first session, it was clear that Arun brings not only a high level of technical expertise, but also a genuine presence and sensitivity that make each class unique. As a yoga teacher myself, I deeply appreciate the level of attention and intention he brings into his teaching. Every class feels thoughtfully structured, centered, and tailored to the energy and needs of the participants in that moment. I attended his morning classes daily, and occasionally the afternoon sessions as well, and each time I found something new—whether it was in the depth of a posture, the fluidity of a transition, or the awareness brought through breathwork. His ability to guide students with such precision is remarkable: he observes every detail, gently correcting alignment and posture with clarity and care, ensuring both safety and progression. One of the aspects I valued most is how adaptable his teaching is. Whether guiding a dynamic vinyasa flow, a deeply restorative yin practice, or focused breathing sessions, Arun calibrates each class beautifully according to the time of day and the people present. This creates a practice that feels both personal and harmonious with the surrounding environment. I also had the pleasure of bringing my mother to his afternoon classes. Despite not being very familiar with yoga, she felt completely at ease and benefited greatly from his guidance. This speaks volumes about his ability to connect with practitioners of all levels, creating a space that is both welcoming and transformative. Practicing with Arun is more than just attending a yoga class—it is a true wellness experience that enhances the entire stay at Baglioni Maldives. His presence adds a meaningful and memorable dimension to the journey, and I am deeply grateful for the time spent learning from him. I would wholeheartedly recommend his classes to anyone seeking not only physical practice, but also a deeper connection with body, breath, and self.

I just had the most amazing yoga experience in the Maldives at the Baglioni Resort.it started with a walk at sunrise to a stunning yoga space and continued with Arun Dev who is a wonderful instructor that made subtle adjustments to give me maximum benefit to my practice. The practice finished with sound bowls and all my senses were quieter, I was able to take in the peace, the tropical birds and the beautiful surroundings. I feel like a new person, incredibly grateful, incredibly blessed and profoundly changed by this opportunity. Thanking God everyday for the blessings!

Where do I start? Maybe saying this is so far the best place I’ve ever been to. I would really love to find something I didn’t like or that went wrong during our stay, but I can’t. All was perfect. Let’s start from Location: the island is STUNNING! The reef is very close so you can go snorkeling and enjoy amazing views just swimming around. Garden paths in the jungle are so nice, rooms are incredible. We stayed in a water villa but beach villas are amazing too! Every room Has privacy and it’s really quiet. All is very well kept by the staff who works literally 24 hours to make everything perfect. The atmosphere is so relaxing and nice, staff, ALL OF THEM, are so nice and make you feel like a king or queen. From the waiters, to the people working at the dive center, to the cleaning service etc all of them are so kind and always smiling and wiling to help. I must mention Greta, the girl who took care of us during our stay, she was there ANYTIME for any need! Always smiling, always giving us the best advices. She took care of us, planning our nights at the restaurants, trips and everything. We felt so spoiled! She’s always there for you, we truly appreciate that! And I must mention Carolina at the dive center who accompanied us in the best snorkeling trip we’ve ever had! It was a blast! A plus: many people from the staff are Italian, and as an Italian I think this made me feel even more comfortable during my stay. It was like being home away from Home. Food: as an Italian we are very…picky and spoiled sometimes..I was worried even because I went to Baglioni 6 months pregnant, but what can I say? Food was AMAZING. Despite what happens in most of the resorts (even the most expensive ones) you will hardly find buffet food. Everything’s à la carte menu, you can choose whatever you want and you have a choice of Italian restaurants, international restaurants and even Japanese. La limonaia, the Italian restaurant was my favourite along to fuego the grill on the beach. Quality is really really really good! Fresh ingredients and very tasty options. And everything is really CLEAN!!! I could write an essay about my stay, but what I want to say is : don’t think twice if you’re thinking about going there. Just go and you won’t regret it! I know this might be a little expensive for someone, but every single euro we spent for this holiday was well spent. Can’t wait to come back, I hardly decide to go twice to the same place, but Baglioni Maldives stole my heart.

We greatly appreciated the natural beauty of the place and the excellent quality of the services offered by the resort. Special mention should be given to the seaplane transfer to and from Malé, the care provided by our personal assistant, and the excursions organized by the dive center.

I'm still in this wonderful routine with my family every morning. I start with group yoga. I'd like to mention the yoga instructor Arun Dev ✨ Every morning I go to yoga as scheduled, and my body thanks me. And I thank the trainer. I recommend attending yoga with Arun Dev every day so that your vacation is not only filled with vivid impressions from being here, but also so that your body and mind say thank you.

We had an excellent week! Baglioni definitely met our expectations. The food was delicious, and the presentation and aesthetics were superb. Kudos to the chefs at all four restaurants: Taste, Yama, Limonaia, and Fuego. I'm pretty sure they're Michelin-starred chefs 👏 And let's not forget, the desserts are absolute works of art! Our room, the spa, veranda, and pool were all impeccably clean, constantly being cleaned and tidied throughout the day. A big thank you to our room attendant. All the staff were incredibly friendly and polite. I don't remember all the names, but a special shout-out to Heidi, Fatik, and Jack, among others. Of course, the sea was amazing, right in front of our room. A little further out, there are coral reefs where you can see many of the fish species you'd expect to find in the Maldives. The tennis and table tennis facilities were great. We also enjoyed the sushi and pizza making experience with Al Amin and the other chef 🖖. Many thanks to Argentina for organizing so many events 🫶, and Diana was incredibly helpful with all our reservations, organizing information sharing, and everything else 🙏. We hope to see you again soon!

my wife and i really enjoyed this getaway, had a great time, and just soaked in the beauty of nature. it was unforgettable, and i hope we get to go back again!
the room was excellent, all the amenities were great, and it was awesome that there was water everywhere.
