I did have an issue with my shower but it was fixed straight away, so great service!
The highlight of our stay was definitely the staff. Even though we checked in late at night, we received a very warm and friendly welcome from the front office staff member, Vishnu. He was polite, helpful, and explained everything clearly. He also shared useful tips about the area, which we really appreciated. His positive attitude and cheerful personality truly stood out 😊—he made us feel at ease immediately.
Breakfast was enjoyable and had a good variety. Many thanks to the entire team for their great service and hospitality. We had a lovely stay and would be happy to return again.
The room was adequate for me. However the noise from the road and downstairs bar was not good. Glass doors ineffective for noise screening.had to buy earplugs. Also the cleaning was sporadic and I had to ask everyday for my room to be cleaned, despite a sign on the door. I was told they have until 5 pm to clean rooms - really! I also found a cockroach in the room.
It was really reasonable cost but would not pay the hiked prices in summer and no, would not stay again.
The hotel is really good located, however if you don't have the most expensive rooms you don't have any view. Food was good however the same every day. It was more like English Breakfast.
What truly made our experience memorable was the exceptional staff. Despite our late-night arrival, we were greeted with genuine warmth by a friendly front office staff member, Vishnu. He was extremely welcoming, took the time to explain everything in detail, and gave us helpful advice about local attractions and things to keep in mind during our stay. His cheerful attitude and positive vibes were instantly uplifting 😊—such a pleasant and charming person to meet after a long journey.
The breakfast was delicious and well prepared, adding to the overall comfort of our stay. A big thank you to the entire team for their hospitality and care. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily return in the future.
We didn’t expect luxury at all but just wanted a somewhat clean room.
Everything is dirty and broken. The floors weren’t cleaned and were covered with sand and dust.
The lobby and the whole hotel smelled moldy.
The room also had a big mold patch right beside the bed that they tried to hide with paint, which also chipped!!!
When I told the staff about the room and the need of a room without mold (didn’t care at this point for a clean room because I would’ve cleaned it myself anyway), a woman came and told us she was the hotel manager and wants to resolve the problem. She showed us another room which was also infested with mold. Then she promised a full refund after the she failed to show us even one room without mold. She told us that all rooms had the same problems to a degree because the owners of the hotel won’t invest in urgently needed renovations. We had to sign a letter which stated that we denied all options offered to us (the other moldy rooms and a room at a different distant location with an additional charge of 200€, which I couldn’t afford). I told her that I don’t agree with that because there where no acceptable options given, but she and the receptionist claimed that it was just a formality that I need to sign so I get my refund back.
She then told me that I’ll only get a refund if I don’t write a negative review!!!!! I agreed but definitely wanted to write one because I don’t let someone threaten me to withhold a well deserved review!!!
After we came back home, I contacted the hotel regarding my refund.
They told us that the person I referred to as the hotel manager didn’t exist and she was only part of the cleaning staff. After multiple emails back and forth they stopped answering.
Aside from this it’s a good location with easy access to buses to get around the island. The breakfast offered is also decent.
