An excellent four star hotel on the Harbour in Gozo easy for the ferry five minutes walk away and only 3 miles from Victoria in the centre of Gozo, the staff give the hotel more of a local feel rather than that of an international brand

Our room when we arrived was behind the pool, with no view of the harbour, so we paid an additional fee to stay in a higher room. Better but the balcony was small and the 2 chairs were in a poor state

In several of the long passageway to various lifts, there is a distinctly damp smell. The recently upgraded pool is nice with excellent views

What a lovely experience my wife and I had at the Gozo Hotel from the 6th to 9th December 2025. Beautiful Island, Hotel, and Staff. Service second to none, food was fantastic, hotel was immaculate

Nice modern hotel with a roof top pool and restaurant, staff were most helpful and parking was available on site. Room was fantastic - very spacious and every amenity required

Conveniently located at the center of st Julian, 5 mins walk to the bus stop. The room was spacious and comfortable for a solo traveler like me. Nice reception staffs! A early check in was allowed without extra fee

Nice, modern hotel in a central location. A couple of minor snags, requested an extra bath towel to be told they had none left. we had to wait till the following morning. For a 4 star hotel this is unacceptable

I want to give a special shout-out to the front desk staff member with blonde hair. Her manners were exceptionally graceful, she was extremely helpful, and went out of her way to assist me in every way

It was wonderful stay, great location, comfortable bed, good choice breakfast and indoor and outdoor pools.

Breakfast is ok with enough choices. Dissapointed on the amenities. Only one bottle of liquid soap for both hair and body. Both pools are with salty water. The indoor pool water is so salty and full of chemical smell

The hotel location is good, just 5 mins walk to the beach and bus terminal where you get bus to Valetta and many other places for €2. Hotel gave us leaflets for bus schedule, map when check in which is very good

It's a good hotel, very good value for money, with an indoor/outdoor swimming pool, great.

I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting downtown The best hotel I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. Gorgeous building, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in

I spent a great moment in that hotel and everybody was kind and helped me a lot. So I thanked them for things those they have done for me and wow I loved their meals and their services

The breakfast is good, location is convinient, the front desk has assist me to check in early. The problem is day time might hear the construction noise make u can't have good rest.

We had a nice stay but there was no pen or pencil provided in order to fill in the letter from the hotel and we did not have any dental amenities in the room other than that the rooms were amazing with good air conditioning, a minus being no smart tv in the room

It's next to Gwolhanae Park, so it's a 5-day tour. The famous old town is about a 10-minute walk away. Tourist attractions, Galata Bridge dock, Grand Bazaar, etc

The hotel has a good location. Beaches are near, restaurants, cafés … if I allow my self nitpicking … I would say bigger gym / sauna. And I way to make the AC less cold 😂 (or maybe I couldn’t set it right 🤷🏻‍♂️)

While it was done regularly, it often felt superficial, with dirt from the previous day left behind. The pools were also a letdown

Been there for 12 days, as many reviews already mentioned it. Very good spot with very good staff. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. They did their best to accommodate us in every way possible

The rooms were clean and tidy, the service was excellent, and luggage storage was available. It's centrally located near the beach. The breakfast was fantastic and very generous

Hotel Valentina offers excellent value for the price, with a great balance between affordability and what you actually get. It’s located right in the heart of the city, which makes it incredibly convenient

She took her time showing us the difference in the rooms available and we were glad to make an upgrade, our rooms were cleaned every single day without requesting cleaning services to do them

Location wise, it was perfect, central to happening spots around St Julian, all within walking distances. The free Prosecco for my birthday and cocktail on arrival was an extra touch

Excellent staff, beautiful and wide range of food for breakfast, lovely drinks at the bars. Rooms clean, very good wifi, close to public transport and hop on hop off buses. I highly recommend this hotel.

the location is okay and the seaview is amazing. But the swimming pool is quite dirty.

The buffet breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice of hot and continental dishes. I had a double room at the back of the hotel away from the bay, quiet but WiFi was a little slow

The room was large with good amenities; fridge, kettle, bathtub, balcony, AC heater etc. The furniture was stylish with plenty of drawers and hanging space

The balcony overlooks the harbor, and yachts for day trips dock right outside the door, which is very convenient, but reservations are required in advance. There are many restaurants nearby

Spent six nights here at the Calypso in November. Great location with some fantastic walks along the shore road. Rooftop terrace with pool and the rooms with a seaview were the reason why I booked. Would stop again.

You can see the Mediterranean Sea and tourists whenever you go out. The area around the restaurant and bar is bustling. Turn right and there's a flower shop a few dozen meters away

The hotel has a swimming pool on the eighth floor and a bar with a view of the city

Great location and nice coffee shop with food always available. Rooms got great sea view and staff was friendly. Basic hotel that benefits from the location and good value for money.

The rooftop swimming pool is a great place to relax. It offers commanding views of the city.

The staff tried hard to please but the hotel is not 4 star as advertised. The curtains were broken and had been broken for a while allowing the sun in. The airconditioning was noisy and not very efficient

Great balcony view of the harbour that you can see the fireworks and old town. Super close to the ferry. Party music a bit loud next door but ok. Value of money for the stay in Malta, highly recommended.

Hotel lobby and amenities are really great, love the pool, the ocean (cement) beach is also such an experience with crystal clear water! The views are breathtaking and included breakfast is really convenient!

Just a slight problem with the bathroom design having the WC sandwiched between a tiled wall and a large glass shower wall. Maybe remove the glass shower wall to create a wet room effect?

Another frustrating lack of consistency from reception. The pool area offers lovely views but this is undermined by rusting facilities and peeling paint. We were on a room-only basis, so I can’t comment on the food

I had a fantastic stay at Gillieru Harbour Hotel — I can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed, relaxed, and honestly spoiled (in a good way)

I had high hopes for Gillieru Harbour Hotel, but the experience was let down by poor communication and lack of maintenance. Despite emailing ahead to request two separate beds, we arrived to find a double

I reported the issues within 10 minutes of arriving and was told we could change rooms the next morning. However, 10am the next day I was later told this wasn’t possible

The hotel is not 4 starts for sure, but for what this price can buy in high season in Malta it’s a very adequate deal. Don’t expect anything fancy or anything beyond the most basic amenities

The hotel is good for staying there to sleep, but not spending time there. Don’t bother with the roof terrace either, pool and tub waters are murky and don’t seem sanitary

My only complaints are that there was only 1 electricity outlet in the entire room so we had to take turns charging our phones and there was also no sound proofing so as a result we would go to sleep very late and wake up very early from the noises

The hotel is well-located, close to the sea and approximately a 4-minute walk to the beach. The room was only partially cleaned, and toiletries were completely missing

The staff were helpful and we were also able to leave our suitcases there as our flight was much later from the 11. 00 check out time and we didn't want to carry them around for all those hours

Also the room service people would come in our room without asking or after 1 knock and one time we happened to be inside when they opened the door with their own key

I'm staying for 6 nights and blown away by the service and hospitality given already. Views are as described just better. You are in the heart of the action here. It's great to go downstairs and be in the hustle

Excellent location, very friendly staff. The single room had no natural light , so is like a cave. It does say on web site, it has no window, but the reality was very claustrophobic

I only stayed the one night , so just used the room to sleep in

The condition of the rooms arent the best as in it doesnt look the cleanest but perhaps it is because the hotel is quite old/outdated, but it definitely does the job when you need a place to rest

The main issue is the thin walls. You can hear everything from next door and the halls so definitely don’t stay here if you’re a light sleeper

The room was much more than I expected for the price and it was very comfortable. The location is great, since the hotel looks towards the sea which is so pretty

The overall cleanliness and location were good, but the bathroom was leaking a ton of water. The bathroom floor was a sea of ​​water. The shower stall didn't seem to be properly waterproofed or finished.

Maybe the only downsides was that at times the breakfast area as well as the elevator were a bit crowded, but other than that all was perfect

This hotel is outstanding!!! The staff, facilities, and food add to the charm of this hotel. The rooms have everything that you need and the surrounding pools, outdoor dining/seating areas are well kept

We didn't use the pool facilities but the pool and surrounding area was spotless. We could imagine this hotel being very popular in the summer and would visit again

The food is lovely breakfast was fresh and plentiful we also ate in the restaurant every evening was like going out to a lovely restaurant the food and friendly staff made it an outstanding experience

Amazing hotel! Would specifically like to point out the staff and service. We arrived without a reservation at Cornucopia Hotel after we left our booked accommodation because of hygiene problems

We had delicious dinners at the restaurant as well and on the final day we wanted to have breakfast but we had not realized that this was until 10:00 AM (we arrived at 10:30)

Clean rooms, excellent service, very helpful staff all the time. Parking was available during our stay. English breakfast was generous and delicious. It was a perfect stay

Location is great if you enjoy being in close proximity to restaurants, bars and swimming facilities. The customer service from staff is the major positive of staying at St Julian's Bay Hotel

Lovely cheap hotel right on Balluta bay! I did have an issue with my shower but it was fixed straight away, so great service!

I’m had a single room with balcony and sea view booked.  The location was great - Valetta a bus journey away as was Mdina and Rabat. The room was adequate for me

Lovely looking hotel, could do with a lick of paint here and there but overall good. Food was a bit of a let down, being vegetarian. Pools are pretty but colder than the sea. Generous with 3 stars.

We stayed in this Hotel reading dome of the reviews they must have stayed at a different hotel. Like any accommodation if you look for faults you will find them

It was a great experience for a business trip, and being close to the sea added to the overall enjoyment. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip

Facilities: The room size is surprisingly large, I'd estimate around 30 square meters. The balcony view is quite nice. Breakfast can be ordered à la carte

The room was clean and tidy, and they provided purified water, which was a thoughtful touch. The breakfast was plentiful, and the service was excellent

The sea is amazing! The water is so pure !:-) unfortunately you have to walk for 15min from the beach to reach the WC's but you'll enjoy the amazing view

The bungalows were kept in a rustic way and quiet cozy. The buffet was really nice, the pools clean and refreshing. We used the bus shuttle a lot but you can easily walk yourself

They just told me to fill out a form and take my key with no explanation regarding what my package included, where to acquire pool towels or the dining timings, NADA!!! Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay - the wine was decent and very cheap, so was everything in general

The beach is so-so, but once in your kayak this is hours and hours of fun and breathtaking views

You can enter it from the hotel by an internal door. The front desk was very helpful. A shout out to Leah and Anish, they are so friendly. And serve nice cocktails!! I will definitely come back!

The outdoor pool costs 20 euros to use but it was closed for Revovation however they let you use the indoor pool instead free of charge

I had a great stay at Holiday Inn Express Malta! The hotel offers one of the best value-for-money experiences in St. It’s perfectly located — just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, bars, and public transport

The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with everything I needed. Breakfast was delicious and had plenty of choices, served in a bright and relaxing area

Start off with a great breakfast and getting around the island is easy with BOLT or UBER so don't feel like you need to stay in Valletta or St. Rooms are clean and modern, rooftop pool and spa available

We were visiting Mellieha to meet up with friends who were staying in the Pergola Hotel - we prefer somewhere a bit more luxurious so opted for the Lure Hotel & Spa

The terrace had a hot tub which was constantly on - we tried it one day and enjoyed it, however, it was a bit of a faff getting the covers off and on as there wasn't much room around the hot tub

This was an excellent decision - the Lure is a small boutique hotel with only 12 rooms, so immediately on arrival you are made to feel special

During our stay all of the staff - from top to bottom were exceptional - smiley faces from everyone and nothing was too much trouble

I was especially impressed with the excellent hot green tea I had each day - the teapot had an insulating cover which kept the tea nice and hot - a small detail, but something that doesn't always happen
