This was an odd one. It used to be a 5 star hotel, and has the fittings and fixtures to show that, but half is now run as a hostel 🤷🏼‍♂️ Reading reviews before arriving there are some horror stories. There was an issue with the air con leaking from the ceiling when I first got there, but this was sorted and fine after that. The room was big and pretty nice and the balcony, with a view of Valletta was great.

Very sad that this ex luxury hotel is in such a bad condition now. Warning for everyone: don‘t turn on the air conditioning!!! You‘ll get very sick because it is dirty. Everyone was sick in the hotel. It isn‘t very clean and the beds are super uncomfortable. Although the view is great, the breakfast and pool is poor. I really hope they invest in this hotel because it has a very good position.

Could have been better. Uk plugs sucks so I had to buy an adapter to charge my phone. The 8bed room has no lockers only a wardrobe. The view is amazing and the bed is comfortable. For the price is recommended

The hostel offers very good accommodation with a very cheap rate. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is very polite and confident. I have a very good experience once. Hope to visit again. Maybe because it used to be a hotel, there are much more than an ordinary hostel. The hostel is located by the sea and to various transportation facilities are connected on your demand.
While staying on a Biblical island (St. Paul reached the Island of Malta after a ship wreck, and its written clearly in Bible _ ref. Acts of the Apostles Chapter 28) visiting various historical sites, you can get this place as a place to meet and to rest.

No way worth it! Rooms are falling apart. Beds feel like they will brake down any second. Alarm went of a couple of times while smelling kerosene. Pool wasn't filled up. Electricity and water gone of for 3h. No toilet and shower was working. Horrible!!!
Breakfast consist out of powder milk, ham and cheese. Super super basic stuff. Towels were not changed and there is no seating on the porch.
Only nice thing was the view from the room.
