I had a very disappointing stay at Cavalieri Hotel, Malta. Despite booking a king bed room, I was allotted a different room (twin bed room), and there seemed to be no attention paid to booking details at check-in.
Hygiene was another major concern — insects were roaming on the tableand around Refrigerator, which is unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one associated with the Radisson brand.
At checkout, I mentioned these issues when asked about my stay, but the staff showed no concern or willingness to acknowledge the feedback. Checkout was simply marked complete without any assurance that the issues would be looked into.
Overall, the hotel does not appear to take bookings or guest feedback seriously. This experience was far below expectations and surprising for a hotel using the Radisson name.
I took half board , overall breakfast was great with nice choice , dinner so so , the soup was salty , the main were pretty good, desserts no at all (bad quality dessert) once again employees were all nice . To conclude I would give 7/10 , I think good value , thanks to employees but bathroom and room would need some renovation.
The only issue we encountered was that our reservation was initially lost, so we had to wait until it was found. However, the reception team was very helpful and supportive throughout the process, which we appreciated.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this hotel!
