Nice hotel, exelent location, its a 10 minutte ferry ride to valletta. Walk 5 min and you got buses going in every possible direction.
Rooms are ok, they look really nice, but you can see that it is old, toilet didnt work properly, we called the reseption and they fixed it right away. Good service.
Breakfast was good, but there was almost none variation, so it gets a bit borring. Tried Table 1, one of the resturant, and the food there was great!

Terrible dated rooms. Ridiculous prices. Terrible front desk staff, gave us an "upgrade" but it was anything but an upgrade. Would give it 0 stars if I could.

There is a great fitness studio at the hotel. It is very spacious and equipped with a very big choice of the latest Cybex machines, very decent free weight area. Plus: a nice mirror room for exercises with music, where You are aloud to bring your own music and play it on a very good stereo.
Breakfast can become boring, but dine around restaurants are very very good. Rooms, as been told by many, do need updating. Lots of mosquitos. Make sure you bring or by repellents with you.
Overall: My partner and I enjoyed the stay. 4 rating stars **** from us

Deluxe room with sea view. Very noisy from street at night. Kettle not working. Mould in shower. Very hard bed. Food not 4 star in main restaurant. Limited in choise. Uht milk etc. View of Valetter very good. Staff excellent. Facilities very good.

Very nice if a little older hotel. Staff and service excellent. Room we had was very spacious with two double beds and bath and shower. It was a "wellness room" and had a infra red sitting in box in the corner.
Air conditioning worked well but was noisy at night. Hotel had two pools one overlooking sea and Valletta. We had "dine around" eating with good selection of restaurants.

Great hotel! The bad reviews of this hotel is mainly based on the cheap 4-star sister hotel. At the 5-star hotel, we stayed in the luxurious spa bedrooms with private pool. ❤️

Hydra spa is relaxing. There are two pools one in a garden setting and one by the sea - each have their own charm.

This is not 4 star. we have been going to Malta for the last 10 years and this is the worst hotel we have stayed in. Apparently they are closing it next year according to the holiday rep and this would make sense as the rooms needed updating and the food needs improving. The front of house staff were not very friendly. The location is lovely and the cleaning staff were brilliant.
