Great 5 night stay. We used the spa and indoor pool daily and the grounds and outdoor heated pool are simply fabulous. You need to book the spa but it is included for guests not charged extra like some hotels. The breakfast was very, very good. The staff at this hotel are truly outstanding and really represent the very best in guest focussed hospitality.

The Phoencia is a wonderful hotel. All of the staff are courteous, efficient and friendly, and they all seem happy in their work. The rooms are spotless and the restaurant is excellent. A special mention to the restaurant breakfast staff who work very hard and were very busy on Sunday, but made the time to clear a prepare a table in the conservatory.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We were kindly upgraded at check in from a superior room to a suite which offered more space. Spa was lovely and empty in the mornings. We were always able to get a spot at the beach club and enjoyed the facilities there immensely. It is only a short walk away, though closes at 6.30pm. The bar is lovely. The Hotel Front service staff are super helpful and friendly. Reasonably priced, nice, relaxing atmosphere. The bartender was incredibly clean and hygienic while making the drinks! Would come back next time we are in sliema.

Really lovely hotel and beach club. Staff were lovely, food really good, great value happy hour. Sadly building works next door were very noisy some mornings but obviously not the hotel’s fault! Only downside is Sliema is a bit out of the way - not easy access to Valletta (which we had hoped for) but overall really enjoyed and recommend!

Great hotel! The bad reviews of this hotel is mainly based on the cheap 4-star sister hotel. At the 5-star hotel, we stayed in the luxurious spa bedrooms with private pool. ❤️

Sleima and itis next to sea front

Hydra spa is relaxing. There are two pools one in a garden setting and one by the sea - each have their own charm.

This is not 4 star. we have been going to Malta for the last 10 years and this is the worst hotel we have stayed in. Apparently they are closing it next year according to the holiday rep and this would make sense as the rooms needed updating and the food needs improving. The front of house staff were not very friendly. The location is lovely and the cleaning staff were brilliant.

The place is closing soon for a major and much needed refurbishment. Let's hope it returns as one of the best hotels in Malta when it re-opens in 2020.

Everything was great, distance, service, cleanliness and above all the hotel pool and spa.

The view from the room is amazing. You can use the outdoor pool across the street! It's spacious and special. The indoor pool is cold, and there is only one jacuzzi, so you need to be careful. I was worried about the smell of the water in the room. It's not a new hotel, so that was a bit of a concern, but the service and location are good, so I recommend it overall.

The hotel facilities are average. The location of Datang and the elevator feel a bit old, but the location of the hotel is very good. There are many restaurants nearby. The staff is very friendly and enthusiastic. It is worth recommending.

Overall is a nice place to stay, the only downside is the outdoor swimming pool is not on site. No evening entertainment, you will need to know where to go in the evening. Otherwise it’s a good hotel.

Nice hotel with nice room and fair breakfast with a gorgeous view.

We stayed in a family room. The hotel's location, service attitude, and internal facilities were all very good, especially the kitchen facilities such as the stove, which were very suitable for family use. The only drawback was that the room had only one window facing the patio, so ventilation and view were poor.

This is a very cost-effective hotel with a great location, close to the Sliema pier. It is very convenient to travel to and from Valletta, about five minutes each way. The seaside promenade in Sliema, about a 20-minute walk away, also has a beautiful sea view. The hotel's buffet breakfast is great!

We stayed there for 4 nights. We booked the superior, the room was very nice! The only thing that was a bit annoying was that the bathroom didn’t have any window so there was a bit mold in there. After reading a lot of negative reviews, I sort of feared having to stay here, however, after checking in and seeing my room, I couldn't quite understand why people were so negative. Its a budget hotel, yes, but for what you are paying its actually okay. For me it was fine and I am happy with my experience there.

Lifts were not always working. During my stay, i had a few days where I had to walk up and down the stairs a couple of times. One would get fun and then break again. Hot water was not reliable. I had to leave running for half an hour before getting mild warm water.

For the $53 per night that we paid we had everything we needed. The room was plain but adequate in size, shower, coffee maker, hair dryer, tv, refrigerator, small balcony, front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Rooftop pool, sauna. Easy to get to get to. Dont remember if a breakfast was offered because we ate in our room. All we wanted was a clean room and a place to come back to at the end of...

It’s been a rollercoaster with this hotel, and I was changing my mind about it a couple of times, but here’s the truth. The hotel is not 4 starts for sure, but for what this price can buy in high season in Malta it’s a very adequate deal. Don’t expect anything fancy or anything beyond the most basic amenities. it was a good experience, with one exception, I had some Italian girls as neighbors, absolutely rude, they talked very loudly almost screaming,incessantly , especially late in the night...someone threatened them with the police without any result. I think the hotel management should do more in this regard!

On the evening of 07th April 2023 I asked the reception to be able to call a taxi to the airport that would arrive at 4am the following day 08th April. They told me that the service costs €25 to pay there at the hotel (it was already strange like that) and that his colleague from the night would have called. We had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel! The room had everything we could possibly need, and the jacuzzi on the balcony with a stunning sea view was just incredible. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but the breakfast selection was limited, and the rooms smelled of stale grease and food in the morning. The pool was small but acceptable. The elevator was a disaster; using the stairs was very outdated. The location was usually expensive with Uber and Bolt. The beach is far from the hotel.

I've booked twice in a month offers for relaxing massage and spa and I loved it each time. Highly recommended place. The personnel are very kind and helping, the massage therapists are very experienced and caring. Mayor point for me to want to come back for more are the clean and divers spa facilities. Hotel is fine. Location is central but not easily walkable — fine if you have a car. Rooms are somewhat basic but very spacious. Lovely pool. But WIFI is terrible. Door lock was a pain to open — had to keep playing around with the card a few times. Gym is a small room but useable.

We had a lovely stay here. As it was my 30th birthday they kindly upgraded us to a suite and surprised me with a chocolate dessert! The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were great with lots of variety. Staff were friendly and the spa was very relaxing! Location was ideal, slightly out of the centre but free parking. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Me and my mom were super happy to live in this hotel, very very clean and super good personal, most of all we liked the guy Anish on reception, he helped us a lot with all our stuff. Beautiful grounds with great pools. Very clean rooms and a great balcony with sea views. We even received an upgrade on site. Breakfast was very varied. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Airport reachable within 20 minutes.

We booked a trip with 4 friends, but the room is a bit small and old, not like a 5-star hotel, should be 3 stars. My pillow has blood stains, I told the cleaning staff, but they didn't change the pillowcases for me. But the location is good, private beach, breakfast is ok to some extent, quite impressed.

The bahtroom was so modern and the property had so many amenties it was tough to use them all. What i wish I experienced was the indoor pool, but It was so hot the outdoor pool did just fine. I loved my time at The Red Farm, such a secure property and it really felt like you were staying at a friends mansion.

We had a wonderful four night stay!! The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast had a wide variety of tasty options. I’ll definitely return and highly recommend it to others! Thank you for hosting us.
