Room service menu needs work. They also need to invest in new towels.
Check-in was actually delayed by over 17.15 minutes.
Excellent location. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and modern. Resort stunning
We really enjoyed our stay. It offered good value for money, and overall, we recommend it.
We stayed for 3 nights and had a very good experience. We were upgraded to a superior sea view room on floor 10. Very good size and in excellent order. The decor is very traditional with mahogany furniture. Suits us very well. The hotel Is situated a short distance from Valletta in Floriana but due to its location on a hillside requires a significant negotiation of steps and a steep hill climb to the...
Lovely hotel, staff very good and friendly. Service at pool very good one day and very bad another day. Lovely to be able to swim in Med from man made beach...could make it more comfy under foot. Very close to valette entry bridge.... 5 min walk.. Outside toilet out of use and disgusting but not blocked off and no signage. Wasn't a nice find! Jacuzzi too cold....same as pool.

The room is very satisfactory, the service staff is very enthusiastic, I will come again next time
Great 5 night stay. We used the spa and indoor pool daily and the grounds and outdoor heated pool are simply fabulous. You need to book the spa but it is included for guests not charged extra like some hotels. The breakfast was very, very good. The staff at this hotel are truly outstanding and really represent the very best in guest focussed hospitality.
The Phoencia is a wonderful hotel. All of the staff are courteous, efficient and friendly, and they all seem happy in their work. The rooms are spotless and the restaurant is excellent. A special mention to the restaurant breakfast staff who work very hard and were very busy on Sunday, but made the time to clear a prepare a table in the conservatory.
I decided to celebrate my birthday here and I had an amazing experience and pleasure stay. Not only the hotel itself is beautiful, but also the staff and their services are amazing as well. From receptionist, all staff around lounge, room service, breakfast service, garden staff, then to management, I can say that Phoenicia did a job well done keeping their staff professional and well mannered which...
the room was excellent, the servie was good and the location too
I attended a conference at The Phoenicia Hotel and was impressed by the well-equipped meeting facilities and the attentive service. The lunch provided was excellent, showcasing fresh and flavorful dishes. During a brief break, I explored the hotel's stunning garden, perfect for relaxing walks. The infinity pool, nestled against the historic city walls, offers breathtaking views of the harbour, making...

Absolutely recommend. The beach club was 2 minutes walk from the hotel and can be used for free if you’re staying at the hotel. We always had available sunbeds, though I would recommend to arrive early. It has access to the sea as well, the pool is reasonable size with sea water. The hotel also has a rooftop pool with fewer sunbeds, free of charge. We stayed in the family room, the bed was very large...
The room was a lot smaller than we thought but it’s okay since we’re not in our room all the time anyway. The service however? Outstanding! Cannot thank the staff enough for the warm welcomes, excellent service and kindness especially to Kristian, Njambe and Marie who we met in the pool and then became our group tour host. All of them greeted us like old friends and gave us tips how to enjoy Malta...
The rooms are amazing. Especially for Europe. The pool is a beach club. It’s loud and crowded not chill and relaxing like it looks in the photo, which was a big downer for me. They also took my water bottle and I felt like I should be able to bring my water to what I thought was the hotel pool. The spa was a little weird in terms of service. Also, having the website for your code and stuff was a little...
We really enjoyed our stay here. We were kindly upgraded at check in from a superior room to a suite which offered more space. Spa was lovely and empty in the mornings. We were always able to get a spot at the beach club and enjoyed the facilities there immensely. It is only a short walk away, though closes at 6.30pm. The trips are a lovely addition but book up quickly - we managed to go on a sunset...
The bar is lovely. The Hotel Front service staff are super helpful and friendly. Reasonably priced, nice, relaxing atmosphere. The bartender was incredibly clean and hygienic while making the drinks! Would come back next time we are in sliema.
Really lovely hotel and beach club. Staff were lovely, food really good, great value happy hour. Sadly building works next door were very noisy some mornings but obviously not the hotel’s fault! Only downside is Sliema is a bit out of the way - not easy access to Valletta (which we had hoped for) but overall really enjoyed and recommend!

The hotel is in the center of the ancient town. The location is excellent. The rooms are beautifully designed. The service staff is enthusiastic. There is a beautiful swimming pool on the roof. The scenery outside is very beautiful. The night view is very beautiful
Sound from restaurants in Room 205
The room is nice and well-equipped. The window faces the inner courtyard, so there is no view, but it is relatively quiet and nice. The breakfast is very rich and the view from the roofbar is unbeatable, you can see the whole Valletta. The only drawback is that the hair dryer is too difficult to use
We had an incredible stay at the Embassy Hotel in Valletta, Malta. The service was exceptional—every need we had was met promptly by the friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel. One of the highlights of our stay was spending peaceful days on the rooftop terrace and by the pool. Although it was sometimes tricky to find available sunbeds, we managed to snag a couple on a few lucky occasions...
Quick stop here for dinner with views. Beautiful roof-top bar and pool, amazing view. Luxurious interior decoration and lots of friendly staff at the roof top bar. Delicious food, great ambiance after a busy long day. Recommended for a few days stay in Valletta.
The hotel was very clean, and the staff was very friendly. I requested an early check-in through booking, and although it wasn’t confirmed via email, they said they would do their best. When we arrived, around 9 AM, the room was ready. It was absolutely perfect as we had been up since very early in the morning, and we managed to get some sleep before going out. The breakfast was very rich, and the...

Great hotel! The bad reviews of this hotel is mainly based on the cheap 4-star sister hotel. At the 5-star hotel, we stayed in the luxurious spa bedrooms with private pool. ❤️

Sleima and itis next to sea front
Hydra spa is relaxing. There are two pools one in a garden setting and one by the sea - each have their own charm.
This is not 4 star. we have been going to Malta for the last 10 years and this is the worst hotel we have stayed in. Apparently they are closing it next year according to the holiday rep and this would make sense as the rooms needed updating and the food needs improving. The front of house staff were not very friendly. The location is lovely and the cleaning staff were brilliant.
The place is closing soon for a major and much needed refurbishment. Let's hope it returns as one of the best hotels in Malta when it re-opens in 2020.

Beautiful hotel, stunning interiors and lovely bathrooms, the roof pool and bar are great too. Staff are lovely
Extremely convenient location (but no car park - you can park at one of the free car parks about 10 mins walk). Beautiful room and charming staff. The spa and massage sessions were solid. The rooftop bar was nice and inexpensive. One criticism: The breakfast was a little average and the coffee was absolutely appalling. That said, the manager was really lovely and was certainly a star of the restaurant
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Gomerino Hotel in Malta, and I can confidently say it was an amazing experience! The hotel's location is simply unbeatable, situated right in the heart of Malta's Storico vibrant atmosphere, making it easy to explore nearby attractions. The staff at Gomerino Hotel truly made my stay memorable. Their courtesy and genuine intent to ensure that I enjoyed...
Very nice and clean and very modern!! :)
Great location, very convenient for Valletta and the ferry to 3 cities. Lovely roof terrace with pool, bar service and view of the Grand harbor. Breakfast was terrific, a mix of local dishes and brunch classics. Highly recommended.
The hotel is well-located with bars and restaurants nearby. The room was nice with AC. Minus points for the unfriendly welcome that we got at the start, the many times encountering staff in the elevator and entrance hall without getting a smile or “hello” and the ants in our hotel room bathroom. For the price, you expect a bit more. The pool is nice in the morning but gets increasingly hot and oily...

The area was nice, room was big is like a small flat. It’s not room it’s good for big family
Economy single room is very small and there is a window which is facing to adjacent building wall. There is no natural light. Ferry gate to Valletta is across from the hotel and it is very convenient.
The hotel is centrally located, making it easy to get around. It’s less than a 5-minute walk to the ferry that takes you to Valletta, and the surrounding area is very convenient. We were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a family room, which was spacious and included a fridge—very handy for longer stays.
+ The hotel very good in location I booked earlier with eco room price 120€ but the day that i am check in price go down to 45€ that is very bad They didn’t offer the upgrade room to us The bed too small for 2 people Room very small and noisy Not worth for 120€ per night Not recommended 😒
Helpful and friendly staff. The room was noisy because of the outside air conditioning, and the drainage of other rooms was very loud. The mattress was too soft to our liking, which I know is very subjective. The room was clean and fulfilled its purpose. Well situated near the harbour, restaurants, and shops. The adjoining restaurant has good quality food and service.
The hotel is in a great location🔝. The room was clean, the cleaning service was daily☺️The employees are very kind and approachable🤗. Breakfast was great every day and the view from the restaurant's terrace is breathtaking 📸🏢🔝 We had a great time there.🥰

The amazing relationship of all the staff, starting from the administrator - Alexandera -!!! (😊professionalism and friendliness, which is beyond praise) to the staff in the kitchen, a very comfortable room with a Maltese balcony, and a very atmospheric design of the entire hotel. very good breakfast with lovely homemade cakes and a varied selection of fresh fruit. Everything was perfect.
