Everything was great! Only critique is plug sockets weren't accessible from the bed which was a little inconvenient

I would definitely not rate this hotel as 5star, expected a little luxury but was very disappointed. Room was spacious but looked more like a 3 star travelodge very dated with basic amenities. Shower was far from a power shower with cheap shower curtain. Loose floor tiles without grouting. Phone had obviously fallen of at some point and just plastered back on with paint. It is a very nice property. View to the harbor and poll are beautiful, and the traditional design of the hotel very impressive. Unfortunately, service is not high quality. We put the sign to clean the room on the door in the morning, and had it cleaned late afternoon. Lovely hotel! Great sized bed and very clean. There is shampoo and body wash available. Rooftop is amazing with fantastic views of Malta. We will be back. It would be even better if there was hair conditioner and lotion available in the room as an amenity.

Absolutely recommend. The beach club was 2 minutes walk from the hotel and can be used for free if you’re staying at the hotel. A beautiful hotel, built in the 1940s, in the great British colonial style, like the Raffles hotel in Singapore or the Victoria Falls Hotel in Zimbabwe. The interior is elegant. The service was remarkably warm, helpful and attentive. The overall experience was outstanding, even compared to other five star hotels.

Beautiful property and exceptional service in a brilliant location. There is nothing I can fault. We had an Executive room with balcony and although it was quite small, it had every convenience possible. Our room (430) had views either way when on the balcony. One was the marina and the other way was the fountain. Thank you Phoenicia for a wonderful stay.

Got it all ! Simply put, its one of the classic elegant properties in the heart of the old city, but peace and quite once you get into the hotel. Frequently the sounds of cannons maybe heard but added character. Rooms where lovely and we had a super view. Best food at Beef Bar as well ! Great bars and lovely pool !

Can’t fault the hotel or facilities at this hotel and the brilliant location. The only complaint would be that there didn’t seem to be any food or snacks available after 10:30am, not even the bar.

Our stay at La Falconeria was absolutely wonderful. The staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel is so clean and well organized. The refrigerator and coffee station was refreshed each day. We loved the Maltese balcony in our room. When the windows were closed it was so quiet for a good might sleep.

Staff were friendly, professional and informative. Was walkable to everything we needed or wanted. Had a room with balcony which had a great view. Our only complaint is we felt the bed needed replacing. It was very saggy and could feel the springs. Regardless, we would stay here again for the service and convenience

Sleima and itis next to sea front

Hydra spa is relaxing. There are two pools one in a garden setting and one by the sea - each have their own charm.

This is not 4 star. we have been going to Malta for the last 10 years and this is the worst hotel we have stayed in. Apparently they are closing it next year according to the holiday rep and this would make sense as the rooms needed updating and the food needs improving. The front of house staff were not very friendly. The location is lovely and the cleaning staff were brilliant.

The place is closing soon for a major and much needed refurbishment. Let's hope it returns as one of the best hotels in Malta when it re-opens in 2020.

The room is spacious, well-structured, and decorated in a fresh and elegant style. The most important thing is that the rooftop view is first-class, facing the cathedral. Breakfast is served on the rooftop, and the view is also first-class if you have dinner on the rooftop. The front desk staff is very enthusiastic and thoughtful. The room windows couldn't be opened directly, the air conditioning was intermittent, sometimes working and sometimes only blowing air, the room was very stuffy, and the breakfast selection was limited. Very convenient location in the heart of Valletta. Despite this our room was very quiet. The rooftop pool and view across to the Three Cities certainly has the wow factor. Room was clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast included. Hope to return.

Great location, warm staff, beautiful room. Walkable to everything that matters in Valletta. It’s also near the Valletta-Sliema Ferry Terminal. I also loved that the bus terminal is about 10 mins away. No complaints. Malta is magnificent!!

Excellent location, very friendly staff.The single room had no natural light , so is like a cave .It does say on web site, it has no window, but the reality was very claustrophobic. I only stayed the one night , so just used the room to sleep in.

Amazing location and friendly staff. The room is small but comfortable. It’s an old hotel that feels run down. The rooms feel dated and tired and the place has seen better days but it’s comfortable for a short stay. The main issue is the thin walls. You can hear everything from next door and the halls so definitely don’t stay here if you’re a light sleeper.

The condition of the rooms arent the best as in it doesnt look the cleanest but perhaps it is because the hotel is quite old/outdated, but it definitely does the job when you need a place to rest. The location is really great and the staff are super nice and helpful!

A wonderful boutique hotel in Malta. Such easy access to all the sights and coastline of Valetta. Really friendly and helpful staff, wonderfully decorated. But the best thing is the rooftop terrace, perfect for a glass of wine and just watch the boats pass by. Cannot recommend highly enough.

This hotel is very well located close to the harbour and Valettas other amenities and attractions. The ataff are polite and helpful and the food served at breakfast perfectly good. The hotel is old which is a major part of its charm, but this is offset by ts condition. it's quite run down in places. The location of the hotel was ideal for exploring Valletta with everything you want to see within walking distance. However, the hotel itself is dated and a little rundown. It could do with some major investment. The facilities on offer were very basic and that applies to the breakfast. What a fantastic boutique hotel annexed to the stunning Rosalli hotel. Staff were superb, the rooms exceptional and more importantly "no black mould around the shower or sink". Lovely large thick soft towels which does make a difference. The breakfast was brilliant and the coffee delicious. We are staying there again on a regular basis as it was that good.

The balcony was unique. The room was spacious. The bed was uncomfortable. The shower screen was very rigid. The shower drain seemed a little clogged because water would gather in the tray. Breakfast menu was very limited. It would be very good to have some Halal food provisions too for breakfast so Muslim guests can also enjoy all the breakfast items on offer.

Lovely new beach-side elevator building. Room was clean, modern, with a balcony overlooking the water and the nearby container ships. The sandy beach is literally steps away. The room was quiet. Public bus transportation goes almost to the doorstep. Staff is very friendly. There is a ground-level restaurant which offers a 10% discount to people who have a room in the hotel.

The setting of the hotel with many rooms looking out onto Grand Harbour make it an exceptional place to stay which is further enhanced by the rooftop patio where one can enjoy refreshments whilst soaking up the exceptional ambience. Small hotel but Great location and views of the harbour/across the bay, we upgraded to a harbour view as people had said it could be noisy the city side in hotels in valletta, not sure if this is true or not. We had two extra enclosed balcony areas, one for luggage and the other looking over the bay with a table and 2 chairs, were we could open the windows and sit with our drinks watching the ships...

I just came back from my stay in Valetta! The location of this hotel was very good, also beautiful view from the rooftop. The room was also very clean and spacious. Big thank you to Shaun at the reception who was super friendly and helped us figuring out what to do in such a short time (1 day). Only negative point was the breakfast which was okay but could have been much better!

Would love to stay again! This place is just lovely! The stag was nice, it was clean and updated but authentic. It's in a perfect spot if you want to catch a ferry or go for a harbor cruise. We even had a amazing view of the harbor!
