This was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. The resort is beautiful. The food was absolutely delicious.
Every member of staff was really friendly and helpful. The level of friendliness of the staff really stood out- always smiling, always greeting, always respectful. They made our experience even more enjoyable and memorable. The whole experience exceeded my expectations. Loved all the facilities the hotel had to offer - beach, pool, spa, tennis courts, game room, yoga classes on the beach, painting classes, water activities etc .. didn’t even feel like I needed to leave the hotel for anything. Overall, 10/10 experience- would definitely recommend and would love to come back!

This is one of the best-designed hotels I have ever stayed in. The breakfast buffet was also the best among the three hotels I visited in Mauritius. The pool is nice for families, though serious swimmers might find it too short.
On the downside, the balcony was quite dusty and dirty, which let down the room experience. As for the staff, most were okay, but the receptionist at the Spa stood out as one of the few who smiled genuinely from the heart.

The hotel was terrible, especially the front desk service. A party was going on in a room downstairs at midnight. I called the front desk to complain, and they promised to handle it immediately, but half an hour passed and no one had sent anyone downstairs to negotiate. I want to commend Ctrip here; I contacted their customer service in the middle of the night, and they promised to have someone from the front desk send someone downstairs to negotiate within 15 minutes, and it worked!

Overall, I liked the hotel. I have something to compare it to; we later moved to the St. Regis.
As for the room, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and it was cleaned twice a day. The staff did their best. However, there was a lingering damp smell, and my clothes didn't seem to dry, even in the room.
The beach is fantastic, with fine, white sand. The lounge chairs were very comfortable! No rocks or coral at the entrance to the water. Several types of drinking water with different flavors were freely available on the beach.
The breakfasts were delicious and varied, with plenty to choose from. We liked the restaurants, both Chinese and on the beach; everything was delicious!
We rented a car, so it's important to understand that there's not much to see in the area around this hotel, and overall, there's not much to see. Much more interesting options are on other coastlines—further west, perhaps.

Yes, the resort is beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and perfectly positioned by the beach. But what truly makes this place exceptional is the people.
The warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality from every single team member has been remarkable and feels like a true reflection of Mauritian culture.
From the celebrations team who made our anniversary and our daughter’s birthday so special, to the ever smiling restaurant staff who seemed to anticipate what we needed before we even asked. To the lifeguard who found my bracelet at the bottom of the pool, and the housekeeping and maintenance teams who responded almost instantly and always with a desire to make everything perfect.
The Play team and Studio 17 team have also gone above and beyond to help create memories we will carry with us long after this trip ends.
I can honestly say I have never experienced a resort where every single staff member is so ready to help and so invested in making your stay unforgettable.

Cons: The check in process was very slow and too many confusion and misunderstanding. Maybe upon arrival ask which language is preferable, get staff who speak that language to assist. If you have travelled so far to come to the hotel, why do they make you wait at the reception longer than normal. Wouldn't it make more sense to send people through so that they can have a shower and relax after their long flights. Imagine yourself in their shoes. Need to come up with a more efficient check in process. Greatly need to improve their customer service overall. Especially at the management level. They seem to come across like they know it all. Not thinking some of us paid a lot of money to stay here. Great place, just staff/management training to be a bit more customer focused and efficient checking in. Hello you are a 5 star hotel. Don't keep disappointing tourists.

The hotel service was good, and the rooms were cleaned promptly. Snorkeling at the water sports center was free. The restaurant offered a wide variety of food, and the hotel beach was beautiful, especially with its many lounge chairs.

Best Mauritius chicken! We also tried the pasta (seafood spaguetti) and was the best we have seen in Mauritius. I can totally recommend this place. Service was fantastic.
