We had a wonderful stay and were very satisfied with our experience at the hotel. Everything was well organized, the facilities were clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was very relaxing.
We would especially like to highlight the staff, who were exceptionally kind, helpful and professional throughout our stay. Their friendliness truly made our holiday even more enjoyable.

Second time around, BRILLIANT...... but for an adults only hotel, the children policy should be enforced stricter. Kids are great and make our lives complete, but in this case, we want to get away for a little break.
Food in this quantity and quality for 1000pax plus is a challenge which the executive head chef and his team are mastering very well. You will never be able to please everyone, so look after the 96% instead on the 4% not appreciating the efforts.

Very nice hotel with amazing, friendly and supporting staff. The location is bit windy, but if you’re okay with that or you love watersports, you’ll be grand - the island is pretty humid so wind can give you some relief as well. And if it’s too much, you can always cave yourself around pool area. And the region itself is beautiful. The only downside is - it’s a bit far from everything, but the island is pretty small, so it’s a good excuse to go on some excursions :-) also, excellent nurse and doctor service on site as well as security on the beach. Although the island is a pretty safe place in general.

We stayed for two nights and were very satisfied with the service throughout our stay. All of the staff were friendly, and I’d especially like to give extra praise to the employees working at the pool bar. Thanks to them, we were able to enjoy a truly relaxing and enjoyable time.
The buffet was decent, although the daily menu was quite similar each day. That said, there was still a wide variety of food options, and the beverage service was very good. One evening, we made a reservation at one of the restaurants, and the different atmosphere made it a very enjoyable and satisfying dining experience.
We also loved spending our evenings watching the nightly performances. Although we didn’t get a chance to visit it, the fact that there is a 24-hour sports bar is very appealing.

Great staff, great atmosphere. Disappointed with the entertainment and that there were no snacks included in the hotel minibar just drinks.

Stayed here all inclusiveu at the end of November 2025. A modern well appointed and very clean hotel. The staff are plentiful and very courteous. Modern nicely decorated rooms with balcony and large screen tv. The food choices are excellent and the inclusive alcoholic drink selection includes the likes of Johnnie Walker, Beefeater etc. Tea and coffee, cakes and biscuits always available at the reception area coffee bar. The main hotel bar has evening entertainment from singer guitarists and a non professional DJ, however it was disappointing that the entertainment in this area finishes at 9:30pm. The free WiFi in the hotel area was excellent but I was not able to get this on the beach in front of the hotel. No shortage of sunbeds and parasols on the beach.

A great hotel, everything is new and clean, the service is excellent. Everything is included, which is important, as this part of the island has almost no restaurants, cafes, or shops, if any. You can even try lobster for dinner. However, I would draw the management's attention to the cleanliness of the dishes in the dining room. This isn't just my opinion; it's a health issue! A hotel of this caliber should not tolerate "grabbed" plates or, excuse me, unwashed ones. The grounds are very beautiful and well-maintained, but the beach is windy and not the most convenient, though there are swimming pools. If you go to the right, there are more comfortable areas with beautiful views.

Our entire holiday staying at the Riu Palace was nothing short of perfection. I cannot say enough how utterly incredible this place is.
We stayed for a week and we had a partial sea view jr suite, our balcony overlooked palm trees and floral bushes and all you can hear is waves crashing from afar and birds tweeting it was beyond peaceful. The room itself was beautiful, the bed was ridiculously comfy, bathroom was spotless, shower was amazing and the refillable fridge was an added bonus!
The staff couldn’t be more lovely, so polite and friendly and helpful from the pool staff to the bar staff and the kitchen staff, all were amazing.
WiFi wasn’t the strongest but who cares when you’re in a place like Mauritius! You want to switch off from the world.
There are 4 or 5 restaurants you can book however we found we were only able to book 1 of them over the time we stayed and realised it’s because they only have a limited amount of tables each day in comparison to the amount of people staying, BUT it really didn’t matter, the buffet was INSANE!! fresh curry and rice from the Indian buffet, fresh noodles and meat or veg dishes straight from the wok, fresh made pizza and pasta, fresh grilled fish, steak, roast chicken, duck, salad GALORE, they even had fresh made sushi the one evening!!
Bar staff making any cocktail you like, a big selection of wines and spirits, soft drinks, juices, mimosa’s at breakfast, honestly I cannot praise the Riu Palace enough, we will be back 1000%!!

Excellent hotel - the staff are the friendliest I have ever experienced at a hotel. They’re all incredibly attentive, polite and welcoming

The room was very clean. The staff were nice. Food options were good, get to the steakhouse early (first come first served).
