I recently stayed at Tamassa Bel Ombre and overall had a wonderful experience.
The hotel itself is very beautiful and spacious, with well-maintained surroundings that make the stay really enjoyable. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and clearly well taken care of. One of the highlights of the stay was definitely the food — it was super delicious with a very large variety available at the restaurant.
For all-inclusive guests, the bar offers an excellent selection of drinks, which was great to see. The staff across the resort were extremely friendly and welcoming, which really adds to the overall experience.
A special mention goes to the burger truck — the burgers were absolutely amazing and honestly one of the best burgers I’ve had on the island.
However, one negative experience was at the ice cream parlour. The lady serving the ice cream had a very poor attitude. She was unwelcoming, did not smile, and looked like she really did not want to be there. It unfortunately made the experience there quite unpleasant.
Aside from that small issue, everything else was fantastic. I would rate this resort a solid 4.5/5. It is a wonderful hotel and honestly deserves to be rated as a 5-star property rather than a 4-star. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great stay in Mauritius. ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨

A perfect getaway! The beach is breathtaking and the staff are incredibly polite and friendly. It's very kid-friendly with a great 'game village' that kept the little ones busy. We also loved the variety of activities the tennis courts and fitness studio were top-notch!

+ I'd like to highlight the facility's positive response to the hospitalization of one of its guests. The resort manager, in particular, worked tirelessly to assist them the night they became ill, even messaging them during their stay at the hospital to check on their progress. Upon their return, they were always attentive and offered a complimentary late checkout on the last day, allowing the guest to rest until their transfer to the airport.24.02.2026
We had a lovely week at this beautiful resort. The beach was great and sea was warm with lots of different fish. The room was clean and everything worked. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. Particular thank you to Dawson at reception for being so helpful.
The main resturant was good with themed food evenings plenty of choice for all tastes. The Beach Bar was fun and the food at the Playa Resturant was absolutely excellent.

I stayed at Tamassa Bel Ombre as a solo parent with my 6-year-old daughter, and overall we had a lovely experience.
As soon as you enter the lobby, you’re greeted with an incredible view of the swimming pool and the beach. It creates an immediate “wow” factor — you truly feel like you’ve arrived in paradise. The check-in was warm and welcoming. A special thank you to Ayush and Isha, who were both caring and very professional throughout our stay.
Our room was spacious with a very comfortable bed. The housekeeping team was extremely attentive, friendly, and always smiling.
The beach is absolutely stunning — white sand and turquoise water. The sea is shallow enough for young children, which made it perfect for my daughter. We even enjoyed some snorkelling together. The sunsets were simply breathtaking.
The only downside for me was the food. Given the hot and humid climate, I would have appreciated more grilled options and a wider selection of fresh salads. Additionally, the lack of air conditioning in the main restaurant made dining less comfortable and harder to fully enjoy.
Overall, it was a beautiful stay in a stunning setting, especially for families with young children. Thank you !

Had a really nice experience. We are pure JAIN. Chefs made really nice varieties of food specially for us. Staff are all polite. Location is excellent. Jigisha is excellent in her job and supported us throughout our stay. Food was really tasty and amazing. Special Thanks to Chef and his team for looking after us and our parents needs.

The evening started well with a warm reception, and we genuinely thought we were in good hands. But everything went downhill after that.
The food was not tasty at all — overly salty and honestly disappointing for a place that claims quality. The buger was great.
But the worst part was the service. Me my brother ordered a drink and waited over an hour, only to find out that the staff didn’t even pass my order to the barman. Meanwhile, I watched two other people get their drinks before me, so it clearly wasn’t just because of a large group. It felt like we were simply forgotten… or ignored.

Best place in Mauritius. The food is amazing, service very friendly and always helpful and on time, beach is beautiful clean and great corals. We stayed there with a toddler and everything was well accommodated even a bathtub and a nappy bin. The pools are big and clean, the garden beautiful and there is lots of cute details like a wish garden, veggie garden...the kids club is great and theh have 2 little turquoises. Overall I would highly recommend! We had an amazing time.

The resort has everything for all kinds of people. We chose Tamassa for our honeymoon stay. From decorating our room to a special breakfast on the beach, Tamassa was really amazing for us!
They have a lot of activities and the resort is very spacious. It's a bliss to walk around the beautiful paths around the pool. The beach is also near and clean. We also enrolled for a couple spa, which was great too! The resort is also lively, and we really loved the vibe.
The food is the best we had in Mauritius! The breakfast had a vast selection, including vegetarian and Indian dishes.
Few things to note - if you are not on All Inclusive package, the water and room amenities like tea/coffee are chargeable. So, please ensure to buy water bottles from near by supermarket as the in room prices are very high. Everything else is great!
