The evening started well with a warm reception, and we genuinely thought we were in good hands. But everything went downhill after that.
The food was not tasty at all — overly salty and honestly disappointing for a place that claims quality. The buger was great.
But the worst part was the service. Me my brother ordered a drink and waited over an hour, only to find out that the staff didn’t even pass my order to the barman. Meanwhile, I watched two other people get their drinks before me, so it clearly wasn’t just because of a large group. It felt like we were simply forgotten… or ignored.
We came with excitement, ready to enjoy a special night for my mum, and instead we left frustrated and sad. I was even considering returning for another night package in the future, but after the treatment we received, absolutely not.
Thank you for ruining what should have been a special birthday for my mum.
The resort has everything for all kinds of people. We chose Tamassa for our honeymoon stay. From decorating our room to a special breakfast on the beach, Tamassa was really amazing for us!
They have a lot of activities and the resort is very spacious. It's a bliss to walk around the beautiful paths around the pool. The beach is also near and clean. We also enrolled for a couple spa, which was great too! The resort is also lively, and we really loved the vibe.
The food is the best we had in Mauritius! The breakfast had a vast selection, including vegetarian and Indian dishes.
Few things to note - if you are not on All Inclusive package, the water and room amenities like tea/coffee are chargeable. So, please ensure to buy water bottles from near by supermarket as the in room prices are very high. Everything else is great!
I highly recommend staying at Tamassa when in Mauritius! :)
From arrival to departure we had no issues at all with the Tamassa. Staff were attentive and very customer focussed. Food and wines were good, along with the icy cold local beers!
Loved staying here and definatrly come back.
There is nothing in close proximity outside.. but u dont need to step out.. Its perfect detox.!!
