We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sugar Beach in Mauritius. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was relaxed, welcoming, and beautifully tropical. The resort itself is stunning. Surrounded by lush gardens and set on a gorgeous stretch of beach with the most incredible sunsets.
The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with beautiful views of the ocean and gardens. The staff truly made the experience special, everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure we were enjoying our stay.
The variety of restaurants and activities meant there was always something to enjoy, whether it was relaxing by the pool, trying out the water sports, or enjoying a delicious meal by the sea. The resort strikes a lovely balance between being family-friendly and still feeling peaceful and luxurious.
Overall, Sugar Beach is the perfect place for a relaxing tropical getaway. We left with beautiful memories and would absolutely love to return one day. Highly recommended! 🌴✨

We chose to spend 22nd February at Sugar Beach Mauritius for both lunch and dinner, and it turned out to be an absolutely wonderful decision.
From the moment we arrived, we received a very warm welcome and excellent service throughout the day. The food was absolutely amazing — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish exceeded our expectations.
We were celebrating my mom’s birthday, and the team made it even more special with their attention and kindness.

The dining experiences were the absolute standout of our stay. At BBB, Pravesh provided seamless service that made our meal a delight. We also spent time at Mare Mare, where Erwin and Avi were incredible—they were attentive and professional without ever feeling pushy, which we really appreciated.
Whether it was lunch or dinner, the quality of the dishes and the level of service on both sides were top-tier. We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed in an extraordinary Deluxe Sea View Room, which was beautifully appointed with comfortable beds and an amazing shower — the perfect space to relax after a day in the sun.
The staff at Sugar Beach were absolutely outstanding. A special mention goes to Fazil and Luca, the wonderful Beach Boys who provided exceptional personal service at the pool. They were attentive to every detail, ensuring we were always well looked after, sufficiently hydrated, and well fed throughout the day.
The Kids Club team was equally impressive. The ladies were incredibly professional and wonderful with our children. Thanks to Stephie, Sharika, and Anais, we were able to truly unwind, knowing our kids were happy, safe, and in excellent care.
The food was simply out of this world. Each evening, the main restaurant, Le Patio, offered a different themed buffet dinner, which was both exciting and delicious. On nights when we wanted a change of scenery, we also enjoyed dining at the resort’s other restaurants — with Maré Maré Beach Restaurant being a particular favourite.
Overall, Sugar Beach delivered an unforgettable family holiday, and we cannot wait to return.

We had an amazing stay at this resort. The service was excellent and the food was very good and delicious every day organised by the head chef Krishna Mauree. Our room was cleaned perfectly and always kept neat and tidy by Emirith.

I’ve recently returned from a fantastic holiday at Sugar Beach. The hotel and the grounds are just stunning. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and always cleaned to a high standard by Kalyanee. The food is great with lots of variety. There’s plenty to do on site and the entertainment is first class. The staff at this hotel made our stay extra special..great service from Veer, Kumar and the lovely Nisha! We will miss the fresh juice in the morning always served with a smile from Christian!

This was our second visit to Sugar beach, we had the most amazing week from arrival to departure. The customer service, attention to detail and special treats provided to celebrate my birthday were beyond any expectations we had.
The rooms are spectacular, spotlessly clean and well appointed. The restaurant selection is excellent both at Sugar beach and next door at Le Pirouge - the food is quality is outstanding.
Sunsets with the DJ and cocktails at the Buda bar were wonderful.
Facilities at both hotels are excellent gym, water sports, tennis and spa.
The beach and adult pool area had lots of sunbeds and space to relax.
The hotel is well appointed for walks along the beach and to explore the local area. We played golf during our stay which is included with the hotel, fabulous views, great course amongst the natural surroundings.
We would highly recommend this for hotel for a luxury stay so much so we have booked again for 2026 with 8 friends.

We sat in the same areas for breakfast and dinner, where we were consistently well looked after by Mr Anand and Mr Chandrassen respectively. The buffet food was excellent; fresh, flavorful and varied, making every meal a real treat. The staff throughout the resort are discreet yet attentive, proactive, and always genuinely happy to help.
The kids’ club is exceptionally well run and organised, with a great variety of activities available from morning until 10 at night! Every staff member there (too many names to mention) is fantastic with children and clearly enjoys what they do — creating a warm, engaging atmosphere that our child immediately connected with. Our child loved the kids’ club so much that we extended our stay and are already planning to return next year.
A special thank you to Mr Santoo for patiently answering all our questions and providing invaluable information that catered to our needs, making our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you also to Stephan for assisting us with all the booking details for our next trip there. The reception team, including Mr Vishal and Mr Arvind, was outstanding from check-in to check-out and was especially helpful in making the extension of our stay smooth and effortless. My wife and I stayed at Sugar Beach Resort in December to celebrate our late honeymoon, and the experience was truly wonderful. From arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Melissa, our wonderful host, with iced tea, given a clear overview of the resort, and pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade and champagne.
The beach is beautiful, with calm waters and stunning sunset views, a welcome change after the windier east coast. Being able to access the neighbouring La Pirogue beach was also a great bonus.
