I have stayed here before and the level of service and cleanliness is still as good as ever. The main standout is that the staff are super friendly, willing to help with anything, and create a great experience. Most of them speak pretty good english as well. There are a great selection of facilities on site from bars and restaurants, the spa, the pool with a view to die for, the trendy club/bar overlooking the city, and lets not forget the club lounge. If you have the right status with Accor you get free club lounge, or buy a club room as its gives you stunning views on the 36th floor, inclusive food for most of the day and a fabulous array of drinks including alcohol. The location is fabulous with plenty of shops and malls and restaurants within walking distance and ubers seem to come and go with ease.
If I hade one complaint it would be its pretty expensive compared to other 5 start hotels in Mexico City but as they say you get what you pay for! The true measure would be would you stay again..... yes I would.

We had a wonderful stay at Sofitel Mexico City Reforma and would definitely recommend it.
The location is excellent, with bus stops and Metro stations within walking distance. Given how heavy traffic can be in Mexico City, having easy access to public transportation was a huge plus for us.
We booked a room with Club Millésime access and really enjoyed the experience. The dedicated check-in/check-out was convenient, and there was always food available whenever we stopped by the lounge. A special thank you to Abraham, who was always warm and welcoming—we genuinely enjoyed chatting with him during our visits to the lounge.
Our room was spacious, comfortable, and very well maintained. Housekeeping was prompt and thorough, the amenities were great, and the soundproofing was excellent.
The concierge team was definitely one of the highlights of our stay, especially Erik. He helped us arrange private transportation to and from a concert, and when it started raining that day, he even made sure we had rain ponchos before we left. He also gave us great restaurant and bar recommendations throughout our stay.
After we had a particularly disappointing dinner experience one evening, Erik patiently listened to what had happened and genuinely made us feel heard and cared for. It was a small but very meaningful gesture that really helped turn the evening around.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would happily return on our next trip to Mexico City. Thank you to Erik, Abraham, and the entire team!

This hotel has potential, but the service, food and overall experience needs to be improved.
The location was fine, but we didn't do a lot in the area, but it was safe and central.
The food left a lot to be desired. The breakfast was average, it lacked the fine dining experience and quality of food I expected. The pastries were stale, they didn't taste fresh. The omelets were terrible, fruit was often not ripe or high quality, and coffee was like water. It just didn't feel 5 start at all.
The root top lounge is fun, beautiful views and good drinks and snacks.
The pool had no real service or outside deck, so it was a bit underwhelming.
The bed was not comfortable and it took us over a day to try to get it fixed. A hotel like this should have toppers to make it softer. They used the down blankets which were ineffective.
Overall, the staff didn't feel trained or like they cared and they didn't pat attention to the details. One night the turn down service did not come, they would remove glasses without replacing them, etc.
Our junior suite was huge, the views were amazing, we had a huge bathroom and shower, and closet, so that was great to have.

Sofitel Mexico City Reforma made our daughter’s 6th birthday trip truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, Noelia went above and beyond to make her feel incredibly special. She took the time to learn the little things our daughter loves and coordinated thoughtful surprises throughout our stay. On her birthday, she even arranged a treasure hunt filled with things she loved, which meant so much to our family.
Noelia was phenomenal, and the entire concierge team was just as impressive. Every interaction felt warm, thoughtful, and sincere. The support staff was also outstanding, and it was clear that everyone genuinely cared about making our experience exceptional.

Not the boutique hotel we normally prefer, but unable to find one we liked, we went for a big name we've had good luck with before. Location is fine, but not in the more "fun" areas like Condesa or Roma Nte, although it's close enough for easy access. On Sundays when Reforma is closed it's perfect for a bike ride to the park.
We stayed in a Millesime room and it was lovely. Bed was too firm, but they actually have mattress toppers to fix that. Staff super friendly and helpful. Also, the club level offers free (limited selection) meals. We ate breakfast there and it was perfect for our needs (healthy and tasty) - good cereal, bread, fruit etc.

Good hotel for vacation in Mexico City. All the staff are friendly. Especially in winter when it is cold, you want to go to the warm indoor pool. Overall the interior is great, among them the pool is no joke, a beautiful pool at any time of the day, morning, lunch or dinner, so good to take pictures. Amenities - Roxytang. I noticed before that Sweet offered Hermès. If possible, book a room with Club Millesime included. Due to Covid-19, I now love breakfast and I can drink alcohol with my main course during happy hour at Balta restaurant from 5pm to 10pm. Overall, it is delicious (they used to serve champagne, now .... Sparkling wine) Before Covid-19, the Club Millésime space was on the 37th floor, so it was great to have side dishes, dessert drinks, etc. while admiring the view. However, the 12th floor was where the happy hour was, as it is now. a different charm. First of all, the food types are a bit different. There are also many kinds of sake. Highly recommended if you like alcohol. The gym is small but has everything you need and the sauna is good, there is a shower and changing room next to the pool, so it is convenient to shower and change into workout clothes right in the locker after swimming. ㅠ) Toothbrush and toothpaste are provided upon request. One thing is a little disappointing... there is a coffee maker in the room... No tea.

We had the most amazing experience here. All three restaurants were beautiful, the lounge was amazing, and the location was perfect, but the real standout here was the service. Special thanks to Ana who spent so much time helping us call around to different stores to help us find the rare bottle of tequila we wanted (and eventually found!), and to the manager who was always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. We will never stay anywhere else in Mexico City and are already planning our next trip back!

Great stay. Highly recommend. If you are coming from the airport you can ask to be met, I believe it costs around $50. You are greeted immediately and have to go through a series of cleaning protocols such as temperature checks, shoe shine and hand sanitizer. The front desk is very helpful, I would suggest booking the pool and gym in advance because they will be booked when you get there. The hotel is very clean, the staff is very attentive. Have ordered room service a few times, the food is delicious. Overall I give this hotel a 10 out of 10, I highly recommend staying here if you ever come to Mexico City.
